I bought this shoe because I had previously used the FJ Contour Jogger golf shoe that had the same sole. The Contour casual has the same benefit of the excellent gripping sole( without spikes) and also the ability to go car to pro shop( not wearing out golf cleats). The leather on this shoe is amazing and if you 've owned FJ before, you know to buy something when it's available because there's always the poss of things changing in future years with sytle etc. The functionality of this shoe is A++, the quality is A++, the durability is A++. I can not speak for waterproof quality as I have not worn the shoe in wet conditions, but FJ has always warrantied thier products well and so I think that will be A+ as well.

The only fault is on the sole of the boot where the SOREL logo is in a dipped white rubber over the other part of the sole. I purchased these to walk my 3 dogs in the dewy mornings of the Spring, Summer and Fall months in the South and they have not disappointed! For the VERY reason I purchased them, I give them a 100!! Now; I can not speak to any other reason for purchase BUT if you ’ re a Dog Momma like me, and sometimes you have to walk them on a leash, in the woods, first thing in the morning, these are the answer. I am very impressed with this shoe. I live a very cold, snowy climate and we had a surprise early snow and my boots were still in storage from a move.
