These pants exceeded my expectations. They are very lightweight, breathable, stretchy, and surprisingly comfortable. The inner waist ties are a bit goofy since they have belt loops, but overall, I really enjoy them on and off the trail. They are definitely on the lighter side, though, and seem like more of a fair weather pant if you are n't planning on running heavier base layers underneath. Highly recommended though, and quickly becoming my favorite hiking pants.

I bought these because I liked the zip- off Ferrosi's so much and these pants are great! Despite being in the same family, the fabric feels a little different between these and the zip- offs but still incredibly stretchy and breathable. Like the zip- off, these have the built- in draw string and leg cuffs which is handy for ditching the belt and being able to pull up the cuffs if you like. These have become more of my casual around town pant now because they 're just so comfortable.

I had a pair of these about 5 years ago when I walked the Camino in Spain. After walking, I backpackad throughout Europe for the next 12 months. These were my only pants. They are durable, lightweight, breathable, dry fast and I loved them for all of that plus the zippered pocket that kept my wallet and passport safe in Paris when two friends had theirs stolen. The majority of the time I hand washed them since an actual washing machine was wishful thinking. Fortunately, they do n't hold onto sweat and stink like some man- made fabrics so a sink, some warm water, a little bit of soap, and some elbow grease kept me from being too socially unacceptable. Did they pill? Yes, between the thighs. So what. The zippers held, no seams unraveled, the front button did n't pop when I first wore them and was too fat for them and the drawstring was a lifesaver when they were too loose when I finished. Ladies, these are a perfect pant. I just bought a new pair. It's the right time. Adventure awaits!

These are just great. The waist size is ruler accurate- no funny business there. They look sharp. They ’ re very comfortable. They ’ re not baggy. Lots of snaps and pockets. I thought my Vidda Pro's were the best trousers I had... until I picked up a pair of Keb Agile's in the sale. Hands( or legs) down the best trekking and general wear trousers I have ever bought in 35 plus years of trekking and hiking around the globe. Their first proper test was a hike and snowmobile up Langjokull glacier in Iceland and they performed brilliantly. The position of the thigh pockets is genius, and gives you easy access to items when sitting. The reinforced areas are perfect, especially the inner calf areas. The pants have a perfect amount of stretch, which makes them comfortable during a day on the trail, and when relaxing around camp afterward. The zippered legs come off and on easily, and the adjustable drawstring at the ankle allows you to cinch it up around your boot to help keep 6- 8 legged critters and trail debris out of your shoes. I like them, and they look good with my Scout leader uniform too. I went with the Morel color, as the Verde was a little too green for my tastes.

I love the way these pants feel and look. I recently bike commuted in them in the rain and unexpectedly they did great shedding water, they barely got wet at all. I love the stretchy waistband and overall fit. Being a little taller, they bottoms are a few inches above my ankles but that's fine if you 're looking for that. I would love an identical option that extended another 6 '' or so and in a few more fun colors. I 'm about 5' 7 '' and 133# and a size S was just right to avoid a baggy look that still moved well. I always seem to fall somewhere between an OR size S and M for bottoms, though.

Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. The latest style is great. They have a great form fitting stylish shape. I normally wear a 30 waist but felt the 30s were a bit snug in the thigh area, so I got a 32. They ’ re a little big in the waist but they have a draw string you can cinch down and tie. They fit great after doing that, you don ’ t need a belt.

I ’ m 6 ’ 4 ” and 300#. I usually order a 42 ” waist( sometimes 40 ”) and I ordered a 44 ” waist since these can small. I ’ m happy with the way these fit in the waist, seat and thigh. I ended up ordering 5 more in different colors. Simms is the best!

I purchased these on a whim and have thrown out my other pants similar to these. The cut is nice and has a slight taper in the leg giving it a modern look. The material stretches and I have not noticed any wear after several washes. I am usually tough on clothing and these show no sign of abuse. I bought another pair in a different color I liked them so much.

Best pants I have ever owned. I had a pair of the regular Ferrosi pants, they were comfortable, but way too wide and baggy for my liking. These ones are a great cut and have an excellent feel to them. Super stretchy, super light, super comfortable. OR, please never change these. I will be buying more and more pairs!

The transit pants are a step- up in fashion compared to the standard Ferrosi pants. Granted I 'm not a fashion master as my wife reminds me but these are versatile enough to wear climbing or to work. They do n't have the zipper thigh pocket but as I mentioned this gives them a slightly more formal look and fit. Obviously it goes without saying that they are comfortable, stretchy and lightweight like the entire Ferrosi line. Sometimes the Ferrosi line is known to pill but I have n't noticed any yet after a couple of months wear.
