I work for the Depart of Food& Ag and spend most of my day in the field surveying& inspecting insect traps. This shirt with the extra pockets near the waste is amazing. Easy click buttons are nice, BUT, they have unspaped a few times if the shirt gets caught on something. I suppose I would rather have the shirt buttons un- latch than have the shirt itself tear. It's also nice that the UPF is strong. Another complaint is that is holds wrickles a bit well. However, all n all, it's a great shirt o highly recommend.

I bought this recently after outgrowing a jacket I used for many years! I keep my jackets for multiple years and am very pleased with it so far. It ’s extremely cozy and warm and I get cold easily! I live in the interior of BC, Canada, where it ’s often brisk in the mornings and evenings. I am 5 ’ 6 ” and 170lbs of muscle with wider hips and shoulders- this jacket in a large fits perfectly with room for a hoodie underneath while not being too tight on my bum. The forest green colour is also beautiful and matches my green eyes but that ’s besides the point. I love it and hope it lasts many many years!

I wanted to leave a review for other petite mid- size women as it is hard for me to find jackets that fit without being drowned in sleeves. I ’ m 5 ’ 1 ” 155 lbs measurements 40- 36. 5- 41. 5( between US sizes 10- 12) I ordered a large because I wanted it roomy enough for a sweater inside but not so big I look like a potato sack. The Large met this need, I can wear it with just a base layer, when I hike in the winter and add a sweater if it ’s too cold. The sleeves because of the cuffed ends worked well for my short arms( usually large jackets the sleeves go past my arm or balloon so much in the cuff, this one didn ’ t). My gloves did not get “ pushed out ” by the sleeves Overall great down jacket for a petite mid size woman, worth the price

[ Bought this for my wife for Xmas- she ’s a long distance runner despite the weather and her other coats just weren ’ t cutting it anymore. She said this is the best, warmest coat she ’s had in 35+ years of running- and we ’ ve tried them all. Well constructed.

[ I bought this jacket about a month ago and have just started to wear it as the temperatures are now below freezing. The jacket is very light weight. I bought an XL because I like to wear heavy sweaters. With the jacket on I do n't look like the Michelin man.
5
LW
I ’ ve had this coat for a few weeks now and I love it. It ’s dreamily warm, looks fantastic and the pack down feature it really going to be great for travel. It has even performed perfectly on walks in temperatures well below freezing. I ’ m just over 5 ’ 6 ” and 150 lbs, athletic build and medium works well. It was slightly larger than what I thought it would be, as I am hoping to use it under a waterproof layer soon, but the small would likely have been too small. Still thinking it will work as a mid layer when I need it to.

[ This is exactly the jacket I needed: a waterproof shell that has good thickness to it. I 'm a 5'11 '' woman and the men's jacket fits my frame perfectly! I have broader shoulders than an average woman and find that, as a result, arm length, in regular women's sizes, suffers. Nicely made, quality material. I use this when I 'm riding in the rain, which is about 9 months out of the year! Feels like it 'll last a long time, which I really appreciate.

I 'm a lover of hiking shorts with no built in belt or elastic waist. I still rock belts to hang stuff. The old ferrosi Outdoor research shorts were my jam. A great short sleeve. Machine wash& dry completely fine. The elasticity of the fabric is smooth to the skin. Protects your core and shoulder areas from UVs. The inner stitchings are hardly noticeable and does not irritate like other brands like NorthFace. The length of the shirt is perfectly loose and tall. The waist has a room yet it's not too wide( I 'm 6' 2 190lbs athletic build). The only caveat is the color option. Definitely need more colors including White to make the line up more versatile in both short and the long sleeve in Crater Lake.

Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!

It's light weight, breathable, dries in minutes and packs down to a tiny roll in my suitcase. It looks great on and is appropriate for work, a hike or a day out. Took these on a trip around the Colorado four pass loop. As is typical, we got caught in an afternoon storm at 10, 000 feet and suited up. Pants kept us dry from the rain and wete sufficiently breathable for 2 hours of rainy hiking. They are definitely pants to put on BEFORE it rains because the ankle zips do n't accommodate footwear too well. But I knew that going in. Zippers are fail points for waters so we elected to minimize the water ingress points. Tl; dr kept us dry. Breathed well for intense, medium duration active wear

[ I stayed dry even in Icelandic rain- a big plus! Proportions are odd... small waist compared to the very generous hips and thighs, then very small ankles. Planning ahead is critical... my hiking boots had to come off to put on the pants. Proportions were n't a concern with the prior version

I ordered the small size and the fit/cut is great. Both body and arm length spot on. Elasticized wrists help keep it in place and get the draft out. Enough room for underlayer and not bulky or puffy. material is n't noisy either. I have enough black in my wardrobe so I got the dark green/olive and it goes with everything. Even though it's thinner, it provided enough insulation at 30- 40 deg weather. Great buy.

[ I came across this jacket when searching for a synthetic alternative to my down jacket for backpacking. And while it's maybe just a little too heavy and bulky for my ultralight goals, I bought it because I liked it so much in general( tried in on in a store, bought it on Mossejaw). And now I wear it anytime the weather's a little chilly. It's warm, a great fit-- not too tight, not too baggy-- and the material just feels great. I 've also had it out in light rain for half an hour or so, and nothing soaked in. So it really is at least a little water repellent. Only con is, I do n't like the double, left- handed zipper, but I 'll get used to it. And who knows, maybe I 'll end up bringing it on a backpacking trip, since I like it so much. Glad I bought it during the big sale!

This jacket is perfect in all ways. For my broad shoulders, fairly long arms, slim torso, the fit is spot on. Considering the numerous different fleece jackets I have tried on and own, this is saying something. It is a nice light weight for hiking in the Spring or for layering under a jacket in the Winter. I 've bought three pairs of these pants over the years. They are slim- fitting, a bit stretchy, and lightweight. Good for summer. They have some nice details like the pockets and cuff snaps, although honestly I do n't use either of those much. They are very slim fitting, so make sure you do n't order them too small in the waist. A lot of outdoor clothing companies make pants similar to these-- light, slightly stretchy, clean- looking and not too complicated. I think these are one of the better versions.

I have the patina green in medium size. I go on day hikes at least twice weekly and have this shirt keeps me as comfortable as possible even in 30° Celsius weather. This shirt stays dry as I sweat during my hike. If the weather starts to cool it is easy to put a fleece layer over this one. Lastly, I do n't put this in the dryer after washing as it can become completely dry in an less than an hour in my house where the A/C temperature is set to 20° Celsius. Overall I really like it and I will get a second pair to use when I do the Salkantay Trail in the near future.

These pants are awesome. I ordered a large and then a medium because the sizing does seem to run on the larger side. I was comfortable in both, but ultimately decided to keep the medium.

I got this jacket a month ago and since I ’ ve used it during heavy rain in the city and during winter mountain climbs. I can say I ’ ve had no issues with the waterproofing. In the winter mountain, this jacket became irreplaceable for me. Being so light and breathable is such a game changer- I sweat much less, less need to stop for water and I feel much less exhausted. It ’s packing small, so it ’s super easy to fit it in the external pockets of a backpack, so you don ’ t waste any unnecessary time- game changer when you are in the winter mountain. The pockets are awesome and the jacket is super comfortable. I was worried about the Velcro on the cuffs, since a lot of jackets will loosen and let air in between the cuff and your gloves, but the Velcro works super well and gives you a solid locked- in feeling. Last but not least, it beats off strong winds like it ’s nothing. This feature helps you dress lighter, move faster, and get tired less. This jacket improved my performance per unit of effort in the mountain, which is essential since most mistakes happen out of exhaustion. Really happy about my purchase!

Maxime
The single best jacket I 've ever owned. The fabric is simply a slam dunk and the technical design is on point. Enough room for movement and the sleeves are long enough to use it on a bike aswell. I would like to see a jacket with the cut and features of the Skogso Jacket in the Eco- Shell fabric. I would then have a jacket to wear all year, anywhere.

I was tired of always getting completely soaked every time I went out in the rain. I had been in the market for a high quality shell and something that was not Gore- Tex( as it is terrible for the environment). I knew that Fjallraven made high quality outdoor gear that was environmentally friendly and sustainable. So I purchased this and have not been disappointed. I have been out in some miserable weather and have had stayed completely dry. My only gripe is the adjusters that cinch the hood down- I have a long neck and sometimes they do not stay in place if you are moving around a lot.

[ I took this coat on hikes, sledding with kids in snowstorms, and rainy walks with the dog. The jacket seems to absorb a little water but I 've always been dry underneath. Overall, very pleased with my purchase.

I will agree the fit is a tiny bit off, but the look is fantastic. I bought all three after day one in the blue shirt. The only real complaint I ’ ll have with it is how insanely wrinkled up they get in the wash. It ’s long iron job to bring it back to life. But, 🤷♂️. Big deal.

Love the fabric( the faint texture, that you ca n't really see online, adds some character in a good way) and seems really well sewn. The orange is a great color- looks even better in real life than on the website. As another reviewer said, though- the sizing... This pack- down hoodie meets all the requirements. Firstly, the craftsmanship is impeccable. I am 5 ’ 6 ” athletic- built and wear a large size, and I can confirm that it is true to size. I appreciate its packability and versatility, as it can be worn with a base layer or a shell on top, enabling it to withstand temperatures as low as the single digits. I ordered the flame orange/uni blue color, which is visually appealing and would be a worthwhile purchase before it sells out. Upon receiving the hoodie, I applied Nikwax Down Wash and Down Proof to achieve a DWR finish. I have attached pictures for your reference.

This puffy is best used for around 0 C to 5 C in dry weather, in sub zero temps it may not be warm enough. The fabric is soft and comfy to touch with a nice fleece lining on chin and neck area to keep that area warm and also helps if you have a beard. I 'm about 170 cm, 66 kg and a small fit too tight in the chest and armpits, medium fits well relaxed with room to layer, the sleeves are just a bit long. The hood and collar have nice coverage to keep head and neck warm. Personally, I do n't mind the yellow shoelace, it does n't get in the way much. A great feature is the double zipper which allows you to vent heat without taking the jacket off.

I live in the Western mountains of Maine beside the White Mountain National Forest. We get spooky weather here. It was a brittle- 10° when I got up at 0530. I threw my Expedition Pack Down Hoodie on over just a merino wool base layer. Something I wear 24/7 in the winter here. I was quite comfortable outside. I 'm not going to lie, my face stung from the cold. A quick pull, a tug or two here and there and voila! Now it was tolerable which is enough! I 'm 69. I 've been through a few jackets in my lifetime. I can tell within 5 minutes whether a jacket will do the job and stand up to wear. This was a treat to myself. I have gone through so many winters with barely adequate clothing. This year I finally figured out how to dress. This jacket is superb. It handled some rather high wind the other day better than I expected. I HATE feeling that cold wind blow right through a jacket! Look, I found myself just wanting to go for a walk the other day just so I could wear it! I love the length in the back. Not keeping your butt covered is asking for trouble! Love the arm length which SHOULD be a tad longer than normal to ensure no `` pull up '' around your wrists. Love way you can pull this jacket around your body. Everything is adjusted just for me! Any jacket like this really shines with proper layer material. It's no secret but, just go with wool. Period. A wool base layer( I go with the thickest I can find) is the key. I quite often wear just my wool base layer for a shirt. Job well done Fjallraven!

These pants are amazing. Very comfortable, easily packable, they look great. They are extremely comfortable to walk in due to the combination of stretch material. I thought my Vidda Pro's were the best trousers I had... until I picked up a pair of Keb Agile's in the sale. Hands( or legs) down the best trekking and general wear trousers I have ever bought in 35 plus years of trekking and hiking around the globe. Their first proper test was a hike and snowmobile up Langjokull glacier in Iceland and they performed brilliantly. The position of the thigh pockets is genius, and gives you easy access to items when sitting. The reinforced areas are perfect, especially the inner calf areas. These are going to get a lot of use and I expect them to be as durable and hard wearing as all the many other bits of Fjallraven kit that I own.

After wearing nylon cargo pants for the last 20 years, I have switched to these. They are very comfortable and the fabric is great. I did have to have a tailor shorten them in length. I also had the zippered pockets reduced in depth to eliminate heavy stuff like a cell phone banging on my knee. I wish they came in khaki!! Note that they run very large. [ These are without a doubt, the most comfortable pants I have. Light weight and cool in hot weather but also do well in fall and spring weather as well as mild winter days. I wear them on the trail and in the city,

it would be perfect if it ran a bit larger would appreciate more room as I 'm a taller guy 6' 3 and with a linebacker build it fits snuggly in a few on my quads and thighs but overall great pants

I ordered the pants and jacket to replace some old faithful ones that have been reliable for years. I 've always been happy with the Helium line for backpacking. Although I would n't call them super durable thats not really what they are meant for. I use them as the lightweight layer to keep rain off on the occasional rain during backpacking trips or light rain.

A great lightweight pair of rain pants. Used them as a shell during a snow storm and stayed dry.

[ Shorts are form fitting, but not tight. Material is of a high- tech nature, not cotton. Dries fast and durable. Material is n't stretchy, but super comfortable. On a side note, I 'm happy that there is no back pocket. Strange at first, but now that I 've worn them a while I appreciate not sitting on my wallet. Plus, not having a pocket makes the shorts a little more `` clean '', too.

These shorts are great. They fit well and fabric feels great. The multiple pockets allow for easy separation of multiple items like keys, phone and wallet making everything easy to find. I have laundered them and they launder well. I would buy again and in fact, I did get a second pair.

[ I have owned many many puffy coats over the years. This one surpasses them all. The fabric is soft yet durable, the colors are fantastic, and the cut is perfect for an athletic and or layered look! This is the good stuff.

[ All of my wife ’s coats were heavy, dressy- looking coats that weighed a ton. Because of her handicap, and difficulty walking, the heavy coats were a nuisance. I got her this Expedition Hoodie, and she has absolutely fallen in love with it. She was shocked at how something so light, could keep you so warm. Sometimes, when unable to walk, we need to use a transport chair. Sitting in that chair on a cold, windy day, unable to generate heat from walking, this jacket makes all the difference.

[ The perfect jacket if you ’ re looking for a lightweight, warm jacket. It is not too bulky and keeps me super warm. I am usually a medium and ended up with a large so that I could have many layers on at once. I originally got an XL because of some of the reviews saying that they ran super small but had to exchange it because that was way too big. I hope this helps!

I ordered a small to replace my worn- out old winter jacket. I 'm 5' 0. 5 '' and about 107lbs. I like the stylish fit of this jacket, and it is n't too snug. I 'm able to comfortably wear a sweatshirt. Now I just have to wait for a cold western NY winter to see how warm it keeps me.
