Im still in the beginning phase of my journey into practicing yoga, but even with my little expertise I noticed straight away how much more grippy the Manduka was compared to the first mat I was using. I have been using a good mat for yoga, though basic, it has helped me 6 months in my practice. This Manduka mat is really worth the price since it has enough cushioning, not so much that makes one lose balance but good for a head stand. Also, it has a great grip for positions when you press hard with hands and feet. It is long enough for me to fit laying down and it is n't that heavy. A very good product overall, I highly recoment it for anyone who practices yoga or even other sports.

[ I ’ ve only been using it for a few weeks but so far this yoga mat is the most high quality mat I have owned. I heard there is a breaking in period with this mat but the grip is already quite good. Might be a little heavy to travel with but for home use it ’s not heavy at all.

[ Used this mat for about 3 weeks now. There are ways to “ break in ” the mat. Some videos online recommend salt and sunshine for 24hrs. BUT if you use it enough it will break in just fine. After just a few weeks it not slippery.

I had to return the mat I received from Dick ’s and order it from another retailer, because it was missed labeled here on the e- commerce site. I wanted the black 79 inch which was listed as the correct$ 110 marked down, but apparently the marked down one was actually the 71 inch which was never actually$ 110. Confusing and ultimately disappointing… But the mat itself once I finally did for curate is absolutely awesome and I love practicing on it.
