Upon discovering rubber mats, I went to Dicks and was surprised that my local store only carried the Calia brand in general for yoga. Fortunately they had a great display of unfolded mats, and I was able to feel and see the selection. This one caught me, I LOVED the texture. Well, it works, and amazingly at that! It is higher maintenance than your cheaper,$ 10 mats, but those mats also don ’ t last very long and contribute extra to the landfill. This is the best yoga mat I have ever owned! It is very grippy in my vinyasa class and I always feel secure and confident on my mat during heated classes and doing balance work. The purple mat is a beautiful color and wipes clean with a damp rag. The mat does smell a little like rubber when you first get it, but that dissipates in about a week. Well worth it, for such a high quality mat!

I ordered the Manduka Prolite( 5. 0mm), the Jade Yoga Fusion( 7. 9mm) and the Jade Yoga Harmony( 4. 7mm) mats. Spending this much on a mat I wanted to make sure I would be happy with what I ended up with. No doubt this is the best mat for me. The mat is heavier than the others but there is no slippage and the extra cushion for my knees makes it the best choice above others. For the record, I would have chosen the Jade Harmony over the Manduka Prolite if the choice was limited to one or the other of those two.

The grip is really good, extra thickness is really comfortable but I can still easily balance on 1 foot, plus the extra length is nice. I 'm 5` 10 and glad I dropped the extra$ 10, but do n't think my wife would need the extra length. I was tired of my hands slipping in down dog while using a Gaiam mat. I tried a matymat from Amazon but the material would literally stretch while you were stretching. I did a fair amount of research online which led me to this mat. It is truly the Rolls Royce of mats. I wish it would have come with a carrying strap in this price range but it is still worth the money. I would recommend to just splurge on it and never have to buy another mat again.

[ Ok, I LOVE this mat!!! It's very soft and long! The cushion is a lil thick which gives you the support and softness you need but still firm enough for you to workout on. So I did n't actually buy this for a yoga mat I bought this for my gym bag and my camping supplies. Most microfiber towels range between 10 and$ 80 depending on the size that you are looking for and it is harder and harder to find a decent microfiber towel that dries quickly for bigger dudes. I do ultralight camping kayaking and things like that plus I go to the gym every other day. Having towels that dry in minutes instead of being soaking wet in my gym bag is exactly the kind of thing I need in my life. This was more expensive than I would like but with this single towel I can get all of my hair and my entire body dry and as long as I do n't ball it up and shove it into the bottom of my bag if I just hang it off of the locker while I 'm getting dressed it is mostly dry by the time I am ready to leave the gym. Also this is only the fourth one I have ever bought and I bought it to replace one that got torn up while camping, and I have had them since 2012. More expensive than I would have liked to have paid but I will more than get its use by the time that I have to replace it.
