Have always loved Sorel boots and needed a new boot with good traction because my arches have fallen and feet have spread. Over the years the boots have gone from being roomy in the toe area to more narrow and fashion oriented. I was afraid this boot wouldn ’ t be wide enough in the toe box to accommodate my bad bunions. This boot worked well with a little bit of stretching in the forefoot. It looks like it might be heavy to walk in but I didn ’ t find that at all. However, since there is a small gap at the top, I ’ d recommend wearing waterproof trousers over it to prevent water from getting in. Also, I suggest ordering one size up. I went half a size up, which was fine, but it felt a bit tight with thick winter socks. That said, the boots are already very warm on their own. I only needed extra layers because I was in- 6°C weather.
