These boots are exactly what I 've been looking for! I live in the Cascade Mountains and walk around town in the snow and ice every single day. So far, the traction, warmth, and waterproofing of these shoes has been elite. I have tested these out for hours out on icy and snowy sidewalks, trails, and roads with no issues. I have yet to use them for snowshoeing, but I am looking forward to that as well. They are extremely comfortable and cute, which is a bonus. Where I live( Washington DC) we do n't get crazy amounts of snow, but we will have the occasional winter storm and get 6- 10 inches or so. I needed a boot to keep my feet warm and dry when I walk my dog, run errands, etc. But I did n't need super heavy duty boot to shovel snow in. I chose this because I liked that the shaft was n't too high, so I could still wear it with most of my pants. We just had a winter storm. The snow was deep enough that it covered my entire boot and yet they kept my feet SUPER warm and I did n't feel slippery when walking on ice. The waterproof material kept my feet dry, and they are also SUPER CUTE! I am a true 7. 5( according to the size chart; my feet are 24 cm), but I still ordered a size 8 based on reviews saying it ran small, and I think I made the right decision. I think if I ordered my exact size I would n't have room to wear thick socks.

I was very satisfied with its performance. I used it in Norway, and it was completely waterproof. However, since there is a small gap at the top, I ’ d recommend wearing waterproof trousers over it to prevent water from getting in. Also, I suggest ordering one size up. Over the years the boots have gone from being roomy in the toe area to more narrow and fashion oriented. I was afraid this boot wouldn ’ t be wide enough in the toe box to accommodate my bad bunions. I was feeling a little silly getting a pair of these so late in the season but with our snowstorm in Western NY this weekend, I 'm super glad! My feet stay really warm and cozy and when i brush off my car, the snow does not get down into my boots. Absolutely love them and hope they last for many years. Super happy I purchased these winter boots. We do n't get snow often but when we do the city is horrible at managing it and these boots are a game changer. Pulling my kiddo up hills in the forest to go sledding, they managed the terrain. They kepts my feet dry, warm and super cozy. I went up a half size and there is still a bit of room for super super thick socks. So I 'd say probably go with your normal size. I am so happy with my purchase.

I ordered three models of boots( 5 pairs total) and kept this color of this model. I have flat arches and over pronating hind feet so I was thrilled my orthotics fit in place of the company made insoles. There is arch support in the Tivoli Resort that is comparable to that in Tivoli. The higher platform and deep tread is ideal for the snowy slushy winter terrain. The insulation works perfectly even in below 10 degree weather with windy conditions. The higher top and faux help keep the ankle to calf part of lower leg protected and warm. I ’ m even comfortable in them for an 8- hour shift in retail involving going up and down ladders. Highly recommend for women with C width feet( wider than typical but not quite wide.). I ’ m able to wear thick socks so it might work for someone wide footed as well.

These boots are pretty Awesome! I have had the caribous- 2 pairs over 30 years!! and they are great for super snowy days but they are a heavy boot. These are nice and lightweight and still warm. I did size up after I ordered my normal 6. 5, TOO small. I was a little worried the 7's would be too big but they are great- I do have a little room in the heel but it is fine. I walk my dog almost everyday at least a mile if not 3 or 4 and these feel great. I should mention I do wear thin socks since I saw another review and she said she sized up because she wears thick socks. I do not own thick socks- they are not my preference. They had good traction. Some snow did get in over the top when I walked in snow deeper than the height of the boots, but when I put on some snow shoes with them and that kept me from sinking in too deep.
