I bought a pair for my wife and 14 year old daughter. Both were a size small. My wife is a 7. 5 and I bought her the 8. My daughter is an 8 and I bought her the 8. Both were too snug. 9 was the right fit. Recommend buying a size bigger than you normally wear.

These are comfortable and can be slipped into without re- doing the laces which is a big plus for me. I bought these because they have a roll over the top winterized bottom. My last boots had the sole meeting the upper right at the bottom edge& that is where it blew out. Hoping that these last a long time like my last pair with the higher rubber section. True that they run small, I wear size 8. 5, bought boots in a size 10, fit perfectly.

Very nice well padded warm boot, especially for price. They run small, probably due to interior padding. I wear a 7 1/2 and the 9 was the best fit.

Definitely order a one whole size up as others reviewers have mentioned. Helped me save some time for sure. I ’ m typically 8. 5 in most shoes( vans, Nike, ON) and ordered 9. 5, great fit. Can ’ t speak to the longevity but comfortable, warm, and waterproof.

I wore these for my trip to Colorado. It was 20 degrees and snowing, but i felt super warm and secure in these boots. I ’ m pregnant and needed to make sure I had something extremely comfortable that kept my feet warm with good grip so i didn ’ t fall. For the price I paid and the comfortability, I ’ m happy with what I paid for and what i received.

I bought these boots for playing with the dogs in the snow. They are very warm and keep my feet dry when outside in the near zero temperatures for our half hour romps in the snow.

My daughter is a size 8 and the 8 fit her perfectly. She loves the white color, and I love the rubber encased foot to lock out rain and snow. The toggle lace is nice when she has on snow gloves and would have trouble with normal ties.

The best thing is that they ’ re warm enough for me to wear to the dog park when it ’s freezing( below zero here in Mn) but also not so hot that I can actually wear them all day at work

I ’ m obsessed with these sneaker boots! They are so versatile! I ’ m a hairstylist and on my feet basically 24/7, I actually wear these to work pretty often bc they ’ re so comfortable( with my specialty inserts for super high arches) and they are awesome! I get tons of compliments all the time. They ’ re super light weight and not clunky like most boots. The best thing is that they ’ re warm enough for me to wear to the dog park when it ’s freezing( below zero here in Mn) but also not so hot that I can actually wear them all day at work inside. The traction has been amazing on snow and ice so far. Seriously, I ’ m obsessed with these boots, I just wish they had them in men ’s for my husband. I typically wear a size 8/8. 5 in most shoes, but I always wear a 9 in sorel. I also love the wide toe box, which allows me to wear thick socks and not feel so tight like my other boots do. I honestly wouldn ’ t change a thing about these boots.

When selecting footwear for snowshoeing, prioritize insulation, waterproofing, and traction. Insulated boots will keep your feet warm in cold conditions, while waterproof materials will help keep moisture out. Additionally, look for a rugged outsole with good grip to ensure stability on snowy and icy terrains.
Insulation is crucial in snowshoeing footwear as it helps maintain warmth during prolonged exposure to cold temperatures. The level of insulation needed can vary based on the climate and duration of your outing. Generally, boots with higher insulation ratings are better suited for colder conditions.
While regular winter boots may offer some warmth and protection, they might not provide the necessary features for optimal snowshoeing performance. Snowshoeing footwear should ideally have specific attributes like a secure fit, enhanced traction, and waterproof materials to ensure comfort and safety on the trails.
The best footwear for snowshoeing should have a sole designed for traction and stability. Look for boots with deep lugs or a multi-directional tread pattern that can grip snow and ice effectively. This will help prevent slipping and provide better control while navigating through snowy landscapes.
Yes, styles that cover the ankle and provide a snug fit are often recommended for snowshoeing. These styles help prevent snow from entering the boot and provide additional support. Additionally, consider options with a lace-up or adjustable closure for a secure fit that accommodates various sock thicknesses.
To ensure comfort during long hikes in snowshoeing footwear, look for boots with adequate cushioning and a supportive insole. It's also important to try them on with the socks you plan to wear, as this can affect fit and comfort. Additionally, consider boots that allow for some flexibility in the toe area to accommodate natural foot movement.
