The boots are great! Handled spring time in Colorado so raining, ice, sleet and then snow all in one day. I mucked horse stalls and had very warm feet while doing that chore. I was outside for 2 hours and my feet and calves didn ’ t get cold. I was able to walk uphill on ice and not slip. They are comfortable and require little “ break in ”. Great purchase.

[ I bought these for ice fishing. I needed a boot to be super warm& waterproof. Something that will still feel warm at 50mph and subzero air. These totally fit the bill. Very comfortable. The `` Boa system '' is really cool. Instead of leather or cotton laces, it's a wire system that tightens up to your comfort when you twist the button on the front. When you want `` out '' you pull the button out and the tongue loosens right up. Very convenient. I would recommend this boot for mostly active activities. I 'd to walk miles in them they are so comfortable, they also feel very sturdy and supportive which you 'd want in an ice fishing boot.

I learned very quickly that the Sorel Caribou boot was the Best way to keep feet dry and relatively warm in the Great white Tundra of the North East states. Finally got my boots delivered today after a long shipping delay. My review is two fold: Boot quality: 5 stars. Seems super warm, and well constructed. Can ’ t wait to get these out in the snow and give them a real test, but I fully expect them to be a quality boot. Dick ’s quality control: the boots arrived in a box that had been torn and taped back together. Not a big deal, but…. The boot liners had a bunch of animal fur stuck in them, and all over the outside soles. Clearly someone had bought this exact pair before, tried them on, possibly used them, and decided to return them for whatever reason. It ’s very obvious that I didn ’ t get a “ new ” product. I sometimes buy previously used items, but only when I know that I ’ m buying used and can inspect the product first, and usually at a discount. I was fully expecting ” new ” here as It wasn ’ t indicated anywhere that I was getting a used or returned product and I didn ’ t get that. So 2 stars to Dick ’s for not being up front on the condition of what they ’ re selling, or checking the condition of the returns they ’ re reselling. I ’ m not disappointed in the product, hence why I ’ m actually leaving 5 stars, just in Dick ’s quality control and product clarity. This isn ’ t a deal breaker this time… I ’ m still keeping the boots, but now I have to spend time de- fur- ing them first.

I got these for shoveling snow, before/after skiing, walking dogs, and other winter use. They 've been very comfortable and provide good grip. Warmth seems good too, but I have n't spent hours outside in them. I wore them as I loaded/unloaded skis and luggage in- 30F temperatures, and my feet stayed warm for those 10- 15 minutes. I have used them a few times and they shed snow and water, and keep my feet pretty warm. The `` speedlacing system '' is a nice perk-- it means( I think) that there is an extra tab that holds the lace on the lower part of the boot tightly, so you can tighten the lower half and it will stay tight while you adjust and tie the upper half.

I bought these boots due to online reviews, and they were on sale, making it a double bonus. They have a thick inner liner that keeps your feet warm but are very snug! I would have gone with the next size up if I had known. Still breaking them in, so as far as durability, I will find out. My last pair, Sorel, held up for almost 30 years so I 'm hoping these will be my last snow boot purchase! So far they are decent. I would recommend they switch to quick lace hooks, rather than the eyelets.

I wanted to try the 6 ” nylon ankle ice boots because I love the 6 ” deck boots I wear almost daily. They are very comfortable once on, have great support, good traction and are very warm! The only complaint I have, is that the top opening is not as wide as the regular deck boots, which makes them harder to just slip on and go. I had noticed that in the few reviews I had read, but wanted to try them anyway. A long handled shoehorn is needed, for me at least. Perhaps the designers thought a narrower opening would make them warmer, but it doesn ’ t allow for thicker socks. I kept them but probably won ’ t buy another pair in the future unless the opening is redesigned.

I live in Minnesota and my outside winter activities are limited to walking outside only- I 'm not a winter weather sort of gal but I do like to stay upright when I 'm walking. These are not beautiful, and they 're a bit of a bugger for me to pull on, but I have n't fallen a single time since I 've gotten these and I 'm thankful. There have been some slippy bits along the way but I 've never fallen, the grip is phenomenal and they 're warm. I 'm very happy with these. A bit pricey but well worth it overall.
