I did size up after I ordered my normal 6. 5, TOO small. I was a little worried the 7's would be too big but they are great- I do have a little room in the heel but it is fine. I walk my dog almost everyday at least a mile if not 3 or 4 and these feel great. I should mention I do wear thin socks since I saw another review and she said she sized up because she wears thick socks. I do not own thick socks- they are not my preference. I have gotten rid of one pair, a suede pair, because after years of being in the elements they were not looking very professional anymore- but the shoe was still holding up minus the, understandably, worn down tread on the ball of the foot. The Emelie can be slipped on and off! Totally love this feature in a bootie. I ’ m still breaking them in but the foot shape that Sorel uses fits my “ pizza ” feet well( thinner mid foot and slightly wider toe splay). I sized 1/2 down for the Emelie because the last pair of boots I bought broke in so well that they are a tad floppy now.
