I wanted to try the 6 ” nylon ankle ice boots because I love the 6 ” deck boots I wear almost daily. They are very comfortable once on, have great support, good traction and are very warm! The only complaint I have, is that the top opening is not as wide as the regular deck boots, which makes them harder to just slip on and go. I had noticed that in the few reviews I had read, but wanted to try them anyway. A long handled shoehorn is needed, for me at least. Perhaps the designers thought a narrower opening would make them warmer, but it doesn ’ t allow for thicker socks. I kept them but probably won ’ t buy another pair in the future unless the opening is redesigned.

I did size up after I ordered my normal 6. 5, TOO small. I was a little worried the 7's would be too big but they are great- I do have a little room in the heel but it is fine. I walk my dog almost everyday at least a mile if not 3 or 4 and these feel great. These boots are stylish, comfortable and warm. I can wear them to the office and take my dogs out on long walks in the cold. I also purchased another pair in the short height. I highly recommend these boots.

I wore these for about a week in Finland in pretty thick snow and slush – they held up great! No scuffs, no damage, no leaks. I know it's only been one week of wear, but they feel really solid. I can imagine these holding up for at least 8 seasons. They 're also SO CUTE.

Love these boots! Warm, comfy and very easy on and off. Very easy to tuck jeans in or have jeans over the boot. Tread is deep. Being on clearance, I just ordered a 2nd pair to have in my closet.
