The outside is suede and leather and the inside has an incredibly warm and soft fleece lining. [ This is my second pair of Trail Pegasus, and I like it more than the first one:) The Pegasus are a staple for any running enthusiast, but I had n't worn a pair of trail shoes until recently, and I 'm sold. The sole has a lot more grip, which makes these shoes truly `` all- terrain '', both for trail runs but also for every day walks. On top of that, these shoes include Gore- Tex material, making them water resistant( no more excuses not to go for a run in light rain!). They are as comfy as their non- trail Pegasus counterparts, and they have a very similar fit. This color combination has quickly become a favorite for their versatility. As with any Pegasus, I 'd recommend sizing up half a size if you regularly run long distances( 6+ miles). Looking forward to many trail runs over the summer!

[ Wow! These are my new go- to workout shoes. I do everything in them and have experienced no problems during my Zumba, cycling, running, and HIIT workouts. They ’ re super spongy, almost like walking on one of those rubber bouncy floors at the playground. The mesh material keeps them airy and lightweight. They don ’ t have much grip on indoor hard floors but they still get the job done. Outdoors they ’ re great and really flex well with the changing terrain. The curved sole in the back has a unique design and allows for a lot more mobility than a flat shoe. It ’s almost like rocking in a rocking chair! If I could change one tiny thing I would like to have the foam piece on the back heel sit a little higher for more support but it ’s not a big deal at all, just a personal preference. So when I found out that Nike was coming out with a Roam Winterized version I was super excited to see what the silhouette would look like. These do not disappoint! They have the same great fit and feel of the regular Vomero 5 ’s. Very comfortable and super easy to slide on and go. I really like that the laces just have to be tightened and clipped. The materials would be comparable to almost like a rain coat vibe, allowing the outdoor elements to just slide off. The rubber mudguard adds a rain boot aspect without being an actual boot. I ’ m a big fan of a chunky midsole; and the bright yellow on the sole adds a nice pop of color breaking up the neutrality of this colorway. These do feel slightly heavier but not enough to notice as the day goes on. 10/10!!

Broke my pair in walking around the city and at work for a few days and then hiked in them and loved them! Got ta love Gore- Tex, was walking through streams like it was nothing! The grip left me feeling secure, even at spots that were a little rugged or slick. They even had me running for a bit, thought running downhill towards the end I noticed they were slightly big, so I ’ ll just wear thicker socks next time. Great deal!

[ This is great. Honestly, when I first wore it out it was a little too tight for me and I thought I needed a bigger size. Since it is a waterproof shoe, you can expect it to be a little bit tighter obviously to help keep water out during rainy training days. The second time I wore them they felt much better and didn ’ t feel as tight. I normally go half a size or a full size up for running shoes. I ’ m normally a 9, but did a 9. 5. The cushion on these shoes is amazing. They have the new zoom cushion which is super comfortable and you can wear out for long periods of time. I did a few recovery runs in this shoe during the rain storms we have been having and they did great on concrete with rain, road with rain, and some softer terrain with muddy surfaces. I didn ’ t feel like I would slip or anything while running- the grip on these shoes is amazing.

I have trained with it mostly on the road, where the cushioning and responsiveness have made for a smooth, comfortable run. But what surprised me the most was how well it transitioned off- road. Even on slick trails and uneven ground, the traction held up and gave me confidence to keep my pace steady. The Gore- Tex is also a huge plus. My work schedule does n't always provide the flexibility or the luxury to take rainy days off, plus sometimes I get caught in unexpected showers. With the Vomero 18 GTX my feet stayed dry, and I did n't lose any of the support or comfort. I never felt weighed down, and the shoe moved naturally with me no matter the surface.
