I just purchased these sneakers and I am pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these shoes are. I have never had any safety toe shoe or boot be this comfortable. I also like the fact that you can slip them on and off without having to tie and untie them every time, which is super convenient for the application for where I am wearing them. When I first got them out of the box they felt heavy but when they are on your feet they are not heavy at all but like wearing regular sneakers with the benefit of the safety toe. I am more than pleased with the purchase of these shoes and I would highly recommend them to anyone requiring a safety toe shoe in their work application especially if you do a lot of walking and comfort is something you are also looking for.

Materials seem durable so far, I especially appreciate the extra protection around the `` accidentally kicked a pallet corner '' area. If I had to complain the outer side of the arch support is very high which has been painful for the first hundred hours or so of wear but it's getting better as it collapses. My last pair was over 2 years although they were hammered. Just picked up another pair and fitted them with some custom insoles. Carhartt got rid of these for quite some time and I was forced to go to another company to replace my work boots which sucked, happy to see these are back up. I have already bought these 4- 5 times, union outdoor electrician with very few options as a woman in the field. These have a great fit for me, comfortable and no need to break in before wearing all day, no tight toe box. I bought these boots in 2021 and 2 years later they are still in good shape. I wear these for work, hiking, and just out and about and they are comfortable and lightweight for safety boots. They need to be broken in for at least several days in the beginning and any time you go a few weeks without wearing them. The only noticeable wear is the sides have weakened out a little and fold slightly and the rubber traction on the bottom is wearing out after lots of time on gravel roads and rough terrain. One downside is they are not waterproof do have water seep in if you are hosing them down or stepping through deep enough water, so I wear different boots for that. The photos are what they look like after 2 YEARS of constant wear and tear on a construction site.

I have had these boots for 5 years. Humping through the snowy mountains of Vermont on the job. Taking them off and on tens of thousands of times in customers homes. They have gone under many houses, crawlspaces, and under porches. In knee walls and trenches. Put away so wet that my socks were soaked the next morning( step in knee high snow and any boot is gon na get wet). I 've only had to change the laces on one boot. All I ask is that my boots hold up to the abuse I put them through. I wore them untied during the summer even, and the backside of the inner heel has just started to wear through. Only on one side again! They are waterproof, durable, comfortable and dang if they do n't look good. I have n't even looked to buy a new boot since I got these and thank goodness I had n't rubbed off the tag yet. I hope they 're just as good 5 years later. The shoes are well made and I can already tell they will be very durable in a greasy, dirty environment.( Transmission mechanic). The oil resistant does have a more open tread pattern so they wo n't collect the oil and dirt and cake up with it. However, these are not what I would call comfortable. The leather on the upper is very stiff and hard on your feet, the insoles are kind of hard. They are getting better as I break them in, but still not great. I 'm not sure I would buy a second pair after this one.

They have a traction tread on the sole- not a smooth soft- sole, and they “ lean ” a little forward, making a walk across the warehouse or the parking lot a welcome activity! These are awesome boots. I ordered them a few weeks ago and got them within a week of ordering. I love the feel of them and they keep your feet cool even while just walking. I ’ ve been using them for fishing and walking around in muddy areas. I have tried several brands of boots some less expensive and some a whole lot more but I have to say nothing beats Mucks.
