There is one zipper on the right side with a nice long pull cord so my kids we able to easily open and close it while laying inside. This is a mummy bag and has two pull strings on each side which pull it close around their head to stay warm. When open there was plenty of room to add a pillow inside the bag for them.

A good heavy- duty zipper goes all the way across the bottom so that the bag can open flat and there is a neat feature, a Velcro flap that covers the top of the zipper so that it won ’ t unzip in use or allow the zipper to be damaged when zipped up. The bag has a soft, smooth interior. Also, another cool thing is you can stuff the sleeping bag back into the storage sack instead of rolling it up, good feature for a parent!

The overnight temps were right in- line with the recommended use for this bag, and again, I was comfortable in it. I live in the interior of BC, Canada, where it ’s often brisk in the mornings and evenings. This bag might sound a little heavy.. but the weight to warmth ratio can for sure be worth it if you 're in certain climbing conditions. I used it on Shasta when I did the summit this last weekend. Camped at horse camp and after the summit, I climbed in my sleeping bag and slept for 12 hours.. through a storm with temls in the teens. I had to bring my wet and snow covered gear inside the tent and seal everything up. Condensation was pretty bad and everything was wet or frozen besides me. Only nad part was having to get out of my sleeping bag when I was so warm.

We bought this stove to heat our tent when elk hunting in the mountains. This past season we were in the mountains of Montana and had some nights in the 20s and a few days with highs in the 30s. This Alpine stove kept our 13ft X 20ft wall tent cozy warm. We normally are camped for a 2 week stretch and installed an in- line spark arrestor as shown in the photos, for ease of cleaning. We also protected the floor under the stove with a welding blanket. The racks on the side of the stove were very handy for quick drying of socks and gloves. Another thing I really like is that everything fits inside the stove when packing. That sure saves valuable space. I highly recommend the Camp Chef Alpine!

Bought this a couple months ago from an online vendor due to CC being out of stock. Assembly was straight forward and all the components pack back up into the stove for storage. Large enough to put full 16 '' long split log pieces into and when I had it 1/2 full, it blew me out of the tent. I had to damper it down. I believe I made the right purchase. The chimney pipes are tapered to fit inside each other, the smallest end at the stove is 5- 1/4 '', largest end is 6- 1/4 '' Outer diameter. There's plenty of pipe to extend above the tent. The spark arrestor screen gets clogged up a little, but if you stay on top of it you 're fine. I would recommend this stove hands down!

[ Bought this bag as a lightweight down alternative to my synthetic bag. I love this style of bag so it was a no brainer. My first test on my living room floor resulted in a 2 hour nap. I like that i have room to move my legs or toss and turn, and that you can attach 2 of them together( ill be buying another). Great bag if the mummy style bag isnt right for you.

[ Just took this bag on a 12 day trip to Philmont Scout Ranch in Mew Mexico. On the nights when the temperatures dipped into the 30s, this bag kept me very comfortable when zipped up properly. On warmer nights, I unzipped the bag about 30 percent to let a little air in. The best part was that the bag is extremely light and compress down very small in a compression sack to take up very little room in my backpack and could even be clipped on to the outside of the pack without any noticeable swinging while I hiked.

I ordered the small size and the fit/cut is great. Both body and arm length spot on. Elasticized wrists help keep it in place and get the draft out. Enough room for underlayer and not bulky or puffy. material is n't noisy either. I have enough black in my wardrobe so I got the dark green/olive and it goes with everything. Even though it's thinner, it provided enough insulation at 30- 40 deg weather. Great buy.

just took out my 1997 yellow duffel that I had since college to send it to overnight camp with my 11 year old daughter. It was filhty and covered with cobwebs. I have several sizes of these bags I use for various adventures.( not a hard core adventurer) All have been tough, rugged and weather resistant.( I would n't dunk them in water but do n't worry about wet ground or rain) The handles and shoulder straps are comfortable. Bag is big and voluminous. I wish there was a compartment on both ends and/or a way to section the one big space.
