There is one zipper on the right side with a nice long pull cord so my kids we able to easily open and close it while laying inside. This is a mummy bag and has two pull strings on each side which pull it close around their head to stay warm. When open there was plenty of room to add a pillow inside the bag for them.

The overnight temps were right in- line with the recommended use for this bag, and again, I was comfortable in it. My only complaint is that the zipper pull is only on the outside and most of my other bags have one inside and out. That made zipping all the way to the top a little less convenient. This bag is a great length- my 16 year old son is 6 ’ 2 ” and this is roomy for him lengthwise. It has a small pocket where I can put my phone and whatnot close to the top of the bag. The foot area unzips as an expansion to make more room. It is extremely light( weight wise) and puffy( it reminds me of the down packable puff jackets). [ My usage of this upon arrival differs from camping but went to use immediately just the same! Trying to break my toddler from co- sleeping and while putting her in her bed at night, she needs me by her til falling asleep and floor hurts! Enter this sleep pad! Being an odd size, I ca n't imagine any form of cover you 'd be able to put on it though. My only problem was that the inflation process to me, was difficult. It was taking FOREVER! I ended up just getting my plugin travel inflater and it was done in 2 seconds! Someone traveling, camping, extra person in an RV or hotel room, can certainly be pretty content with this item. I ca n't say how rocks would feel beneath it as I would imagine they 'd poke, it's thin, but on a flat surface it was just fine.

Just took this tent camping for the first time. I thought the blockout technology was going to be a gimmick... BOY WAS I WRONG. it was so dark i literally had to have a flashlight to go into my tent. really enjoyed camping in it. it was easy to setup, easy to pull down. lots of space inside. came with a center divider that was not see through. 2 doors on the `` front '' and one on the `` back ''. I 'm going to be completely honest. I went camping one time and it rained so long and so hard that my tent literally flooded inside to 2 1/2 inches of water. I really would love to be able to buy a full rainfly for this tent to make me completely satisfied. I 'm always skeptical of `` water resistant '' tents. Other than that, this tent rocks and i actually want the larger 12 person or 3 section cabin tent with blockout tech. i think my only gripe is that it does n't have a door matt with it. but that is not always a bad thing, and i understand that. [ I 've had my Kelty Galactic 30 for 5 years, and just bought a pair for my son and his wife. In my opinion this is the best bang for your buck in a sleeping bag for backpacking or camping. Packs small, lightweight, and reasonable price. It has a lot of loft and is very cozy. I sleep comfortably in it down to 40 degrees and add a liner to get to the mid- 30's, so it serves me well 3 seasons. I 've thrown it in the washer and dryer several times- just shake it out well and it regains its loft. Highly recommended!

[ I had my own Kelty and my kids had other bags. My son stole my bag while we were camping at Waldo Lake so I used his and I nearly froze to death. I felt so bad he had such an awful bag! I had no idea!!! So I got him and his twin sister bags that match mine and last night we slept in them and it was DREAMY. Love them!!

[ Bought this bag as a lightweight down alternative to my synthetic bag. I love this style of bag so it was a no brainer. My first test on my living room floor resulted in a 2 hour nap. I like that i have room to move my legs or toss and turn, and that you can attach 2 of them together( ill be buying another). Great bag if the mummy style bag isnt right for you.

[ Just took this bag on a 12 day trip to Philmont Scout Ranch in Mew Mexico. On the nights when the temperatures dipped into the 30s, this bag kept me very comfortable when zipped up properly. On warmer nights, I unzipped the bag about 30 percent to let a little air in. The best part was that the bag is extremely light and compress down very small in a compression sack to take up very little room in my backpack and could even be clipped on to the outside of the pack without any noticeable swinging while I hiked.
