I love this weighted vest! I use it to do both house chores and on walks. The 20 lbs feels like plenty of weight and I am easily able to remove the sandbags if I need to lighten it. I like the way the velcro wraps all the way around and it can be taken off from the side, or front. The material is very sturdy and seems like it would be more expensive than$ 50- I found this to be a great deal! I can increase the weight if I purchase heavier sandbags, but 20 lbs seems like plenty!

I bought this a month ago online. Vest is good size, has adjustable Velcro side straps. You can customize the weight. If you place all weights in vest, it ’s difficult to fit them all in, be careful around the seams. Reflective strap has a pouch for phone. There ’s an O ring to couple keys onto and keep hands free.

Bought this for my wife and she likes the easy adjustments you can make with the weights. Weights are tight to get into the slots, but makes sense for being active.

I like this weighted vest compared to others I ’ ve had because you can really cinch the waist. It ’s a great fit and I ’ ve only put 12 pounds in it thus far, but it ’s comfortable. The only criticism I ’ d say is that you have to hold it a certain way before you wear it so the weights don ’ t fall out.

Works better than I imagined. Have used it daily for nearly 3 weeks now, and am ahead of my goals so far. Seems durable and comfortable. Can be adjusted for various body types and strength levels. Would recommend starting off with a small amount of weight, and building up over time, so not to risk stress or strain to your joints. Also, fill your lungs with air while strapping it on, that way you can still take deep breaths while working out.

Works really well-- only thing is that you need to make sure you load the bottom weights first. If yiu load the top weights first, it's hard to get the bottom ones in. Would n't recommend for a woman, as it's pretty big

Picked this up a few days ago to replace a lighter vest that was too fiddly( too many tiny weights), did n't hang the weight comfortably or tightly( I 'm 5' 9 '' and 160lb, athletically muscled with a 31 '' waist and S- to- M shirt size), and was exceedingly dorky looking. Having tested this on a hike and loading at- home weightlifting, I 'm very pleased. Pros: 1) 75lbs is a solid amount of weight at a reasonable cost.$ 200 is same as the 60lb Ethos vest, and much less than plate carrier and vest systems you need to buy weight for separately. Enough mass to progress with for a while. 2) reasonably finely adjustable but not fiddly. 3lb and 6lb increments mean you can dial in progressive overload well, without having to mess around with a ton of weights that take excessive time to load/unload. 3) pocket and weight system is very easy to use and adaptable. Big velcro pouches could fit other things- if you want to be able to increment in other multiples of 5#, buy or make( e. g. sand in a ziploc) yourself a 2lb or some 1lbs and they 'll fit securely no problem. Weights included are tightly packed sand, I think, inside of vinyl plastic containers, so you could probably also make/buy denser weights- lead fishing weights or shot, for instance- to get it even heavier than 75#. 4) I love the fit system. It has a zip on the front, and a single very large velcro waist belt that can be pulled as snugly as you like. I have n't tried any inverted exercises or jogging, but the attachment and fitment system should get tight enough to support that. Sits very comfortably, placing the weight nicely on the strong part of the shoulders, and you have two ways to get it on/off( overhead with the zipper left zipped, or unzip and take off like a jacket). Note my sizing above- other than the waist belt there's limited adjustability to the chest circumference, so YMMV. 5) style. Look, no one's winning runway shows wearing a weight vest. You 're going to look like cosplay SWAT or a terrorist. But, this one is n't bad- it's bulky like all heavy weight vesta but carries it nicely distributed around the body, and is certainly is not the most ridiculous vest I 've seen. Can also easily throw a light fleece vest over the top of it What would I change if I were a product designer: 1) I can not comment yet on durability, which I see was a ding on the 60# from Ethos on this site, so will be looking out for fraying. 2) it does n't have a cell phone/ keys pocket. I would n't trust the weight pouches for keys( they have gaps at the corners), and they load sideways while being too short for most modern smartphones. Wear something else with pockets to keep your phones/snacks/earbuds/etc in. 3) I wish it had a loop on the back/at the neck to hang up for easier loading/unloading 4) it does n't have any D- rings or similar built- in attachment points to hang stuff off, for added modularity.

This vest is highly adaptable for all kinds of exercises due to the secure fit and weight range. The quality is high and you do get what you pay for. I use it for walking and hiking in order to get a workout. The weights are easy to change out and the vest is easy to don unless your upper body strength is low. As a result, I recommend this vest only for males who already have a basic foundation in weight training. I like this vest better than my premium Heria 35 pounder.

I bought this vest over a month ago. The great feature about the vest is that you can work up to that 60 lbs. I run with my vest 3 times a week started out with 20 lbs and now comfortably use it at 40 lbs. I tried the full 60 lbs for 3 miles one time no thanks I ’ ll stay 40 for awhile.

This is an amazing vest and adds resistance to any exercise. However, it is a solid 60lbs and will drain most users if worn too long. The weights are adjustable, so it can be modified to fit your needs. It ’s an amazing addition to any workout.

Used it for the first time yesterday. It has a lot of straps for easy customizable sizing. It was snug and comfy against my body as I walked/ ran/ did stairs, etc. My only question is, where can I buy heavier ETHOS plates? For example, say I want to increase the weight to 30 from 20? How would I do that. I ca n't find ETHOS plates anywhere.

My husband received this as a gift for Christmas and he absolutely loves it! He swims about 2500 yards, five days a week. After trying it out during one swim session, he said he was sore. He only opened up 2 pockets and said there's was so much added resistance while doing a kick and pull set. He would definitely recommend this. In fact, a few of his friends were also going to purchase one.

This vest basically improved the strength of my swimming strokes. Which in turn improved my speed. It does require the swimmer to slightly adjust your breathing technique. Overall, I do recommend it but just as the product is named, it strictly is a resistance vest.

Definitely does work. I really do like it and will be using every time I swim. Only negative side was that it gave me a rash on my rib cage from it rubbing. Besides that, it works good.

Purchased the Gofit 10lb weight vest and had no problem with prompt delivery. It was a great product, well made and everything I wanted except the shoulders are not adjustable and it was way too long. I returned it to Dick's and got my money and purchased another one that I am happy with.
