He ’s tall and lean but does CrossFit in addition to running, so he has thick thighs. Finding shorts/pants that fit in both the waist and the thighs has been a challenge, but these fit the bill. [ I bought these for cross training, but have worn them mostly for running lately. I tend to stay away from the 2 in 1 for running, but have really enjoyed these! They are very comfortable and breathable. I live in the south and they held up well in extreme heat and were very breathable and did not get soaked or heavy with sweating. In the gym, they stood up to cross training and lifting heavy without any issues. Will definitely be adding a few more of these to my rotation!
