Gloves are great addition to winter jogs/hikes. The power- up buttons on each of the index fingers allow me to jog an extra mile or hike a thousand feet more in elevation. Comfortable, warm and always up for an adventure make these gloves my favorite pair.

I love these for just routine, daily use commuting in my car and walking to work. I love that i can use them with my phone. They are exactly what i wanted/needed.

5 Thomas S.
I love these gloves. And they are liners, technically, but at the right temperature they serve well enough on their own. I have tested them on a morning walk when it was closer to 30⁰, and I have to say perhaps—and for someone who tends to run hotter, generally—that I think these gloves are suited best on their own out the door when it's at least in the upper 30s outside. If you 've been walking for a while and your body's warmed up they 'll serve you better, of course. Otherwise, using them on my phone is almost just like not wearing gloves, which has been great! And they look good, and provide warmth while being easy to stow away anywhere, they 're not bulky. Thanks BD!

5 Jim G.
These gloves are warm, surprisingly wind proof and really do have better connectivity for touch screens than any other gloves I 've had.

5 Aleksey Z.
Living in New York comes with cold winters, and these gloves are perfect for everyday use. They work great with a touchscreen and fit really well, offering a decent amount of warmth. Around 10 degrees Fahrenheit they do feel a bit chilly but anything above that temperature they feel warm enough. The only downside is not being very grippy on a steering wheel, so driving in them is not amazing. The value for money, functionality, warmth, and design combined make for a solid pair of gloves.

5 TAYLOR D.
Got these gloves because I wanted something that I could wear to cover my hands in the winter when I 'm either walking or doing light activities but do n't necessarily need a bulky winter glove. I live in Colorado so temperatures vary dramatically in the winter and my hands run on the cold side, but I 'd say these are perfect for brief outdoor exposure near 0 °F and ideal for long durations in temperatures around 15- 20°F. The screen tap material works amazingly well with my phone, it's as if I 'm not even wearing a glove. I normally wear between a S and M for gloves, because I did n't want any loose fingers I sized down to a S. It's slightly tight but still fits great and after breaking in just a bit they... fit like a glove( could n't resist). Getting the wrist part of the glove over my hand is a bit tight and does n't flex as much as you might expect but still easy enough to get on and fits perfectly once on.

5 Rachael F.
I 've had a pair for a few years and sadly lost one of them. So, I reordered this year and they felt like home as soon I put them on. The screen tap works better than any other glove brand I 've worn. They fit snug, but not tight. They are soft on the inside and unless I am working hard and starting to get hot, I do n't even notice I am wearing them. They are perfect for hiking or activities in which I am exerting low- to- moderate energy in cold weather like at or just below freezing( they are too warm for me to run in). I would buy these over and over again, but hopefully I wo n't lose one and need to buy again because my last pair was still in perfect condition after a few years of heavy use! Side note: The old version had a grip piece added in the palm that I miss, but was not essential.

5 Aaron G.
I love these gloves. I am a ski patroller and need a warm and functional glove. The mission gloves provide the dexterity I need to manage a taboggan, ropes, and tools. I love the leather palms for gripping ropes and the Velcro wrist straps which keep the snow out and secure the glove easily under the cuff of my jacket. These gloves replaced a pair of BD gloves I used for nearly 6 years.

5 munco W.
These gloves are warm, waterproof, but still dexterous enough to handle rope lines and finer tools without removing them!

5 Levy P.
A very thick glove, comfortable and warm, can cope with the coldest place.

Absolutely love these gloves for mahy reasons. Firstly, the glove has an amazing fit. While it is easy to get on with the straps to help it is a snug fit that allows me to manouever very well with them. Additionally, the gloves are not so big and padded that I ca n't do much with my hands, however, they still keep my hands warm. My only complaint would be that it is really difficult to use my phone despite the fingertip specifically meant for using the phone. Would highly recommend these gloves.

5 Jeb B
These gloves are a pair of the best gloves I 've worn, and I 've gone through a lot of gloves over the years. What stood out to me are two things; warmth and dryness. While hiking or training with search and rescue( volunteer) I often have my gloves on and off for tasks as well as taking pictures during hikes, what strikes me with these is that they feel dry and warm every time I put them back on after the task or picture!

5 Eric A
I like this glove for winter hiking, snowshoeing, and even XC ski in cold weather... basically anything with active athletic energy level. Not warm enough for standing around ice- fishing in New England. They are very durable and well- made. Quite warm for how light they are, due to the combo of soft lining, leather palm, and waterproof synthetic shell. Lighter than a true ski glove, but more solid and weatherproof than a jogging glove. Nice middle ground.

5 Rob
Perfect gloves for winter in Brooklyn. Really pleased so far with the fit and warmth.

5 Rick
Really like the warmth and comfort, but the flexibility was surprising for the warmth. Easy to pull on with the straps and the velcro cuff is great for adjusting the fit over or under jackets.

5 Matt L
These gloves are almost perfect. Great grip and dexterity, plus just enough insulation on the back of the hand to take the chill off while, hiking, walking the dog, or working in cool weather. The only improvement for me would be a slightly wider opening and little less space around my thumb and the base of my hand.

5 Charles Mark J
I wanted a glove for mountain biking in the cold of spring and fall, or when you get to the top of the lift at the bike park and its 10°C colder than at the base and/or its raining or worse, snowing. These gloves have met the criteria so far.

5 Fernando
I love them. Amazing gloves for biking on cold weather. And of course, amazing for baselayer ice climbing! They fit perfectly on my hand... well design.

5 Stephanie
I was so excited when these were re- released. Great for xc skiing, and mountain biking. They are thin enough to allow dexterity for rope work. Lightweight.

5 Glenn
I bought these for biathlon as well as warmer weather ice climbing. So far I 've only used them for biathlon. Loading ammunition, swapping magazines and trigger feel are all excellent with these gloves. I 've practiced in these gloves at- 9 C and they are just warm enough. I plan on racing in these down to- 10. I have no doubt they 'll feel great once I get on the ice. A very slight con, and it could just be the shape of my hand, is that while all the fingers fit perfect I do have some extra material at the end of my thumbs.

5 Elijah E
The fit is great, they worked well in sub- 10 degrees F windy conditions. The palms are synthetic not natural, so use them appropriately. Very warm, comfortable, and kept out the wind. Good for light to medium work like shoveling snow. Good for all users from beginner to expert.

5 NoName
This is my 3rd pair of this model, going back many years. I agree with the other review that it has been downsized; previously I wore a size L and had plenty of room; now I wear a size XL and it's not as roomy as my older ones, but still adequate. I 'm giving it a 5 star review because of its simplicity and the excellent wind blocking. Most gloves are too tight at the wrist, which reduces circulation and makes taking them on/off difficult. The straight cuff on these is perfect, and they 're easy to get on and off. The sensor finger feature works better than any other brand I 've tried. I hope this stays unchanged in the lineup for many more years.

5 Chad B
The glove works well for a base layer but not a stand alone glove.

Sometimes you want a lighter, thinner glove that makes it easier to manipulate things in your pack, pull skins, dig pits, etc. Other days you want a glove that keeps you warm and dry when it ’s dumping and windy on the chairlift. These are those gloves. The inner liner can be pulled out to dry faster, and the long gauntlet shell keeps rain and snow where it ’s supposed to be. I supplemented the included Nikwax for better coverage and seam sealing. So far these are my favorite in- bounds gloves in years, better than the Hestras and Kincos I have used in the past.

5 Jackson G
These gloves were used on an expedition cruise to Antarctica where I did zodiac rides and hiking. They kept my hands warm in sub- freezing temps, no issue! They are bulky so you loose some dexterity, but that ’s just how it ’s going to be with these gloves. It was nice to be able to remove the GorTex outer and use the inner glove on more temperate days. Would recommend to anyone who needs a solid cold weather glove.

5 Nghia T
Very similar to the Firebrand Line from OR. Keep your hands warm and dry. Great for hiking, camping, skiing, winter work.

4 Nate T
I got several pair of these gloves for snowboarding/skiing. They are very warm with they liners. We have only used them on days were the temps were in the 20's and we did n't need the liners. They are dry and I love the features such as the tethers and cuff cinch. They are bulky with the liners and tend to run a bit large. My 16 year old son wears the small and I can fit the medium. Overall they are a fantastic glove at a very good price.

4 Joseph M
Great glove, best suited for 10 to- 10. Past- 10 need hand warmer to continue using. But worked great blocking wind and snow, retained warmth.

Lightweight gloves that still keep your hands warm without all of the bulk.

5 Zachary D
I have the intermediate weight OR sensor gloves used mountaineering in the Alps and really liked them. I was hoping these had allowed for better dexterity and they did. I ’ ve used this for everyday wear, rucking, hunting and some mountaineering in Maine. The coldest I ’ ve worn these were at around 10°F with the windchills around- 2°F. I was active during my wear and had no issues. I find these stay try better than the intermediate OR glove and really think the grid interior keeps my hand dryer and warmer than the intermediate.

5 Patroller Jon
Nice liner gloves. Heavy weight. Feel like they might last for a while. They are sort of bulky to fit into other gloves, but work great as a liner in mitts and overmits. Perfect combination for me.

5 OR Employee Schuyler
I wear these as my go to glove for walking around the city in the winter. I keep a pair in all of my jackets and I also use them for running on colder days.

5 Daryl
These gloves are exactly what I was looking for. Warm and not bulky. Not sure about the touchpad usefulness, I have n't had much luck with that feature.

A needed upgrade to my old gloves. Use them in CO all winter skiing, and only need hand warmers when temps drop to single digits. Otherwise, keep my hands super warm and dry. Would definitely buy again.

5 Matt L
Not the smallest item in my pack but nothing is better when it gets cold. Worth the extra space!

5 Matthew
Took these gloves on a late season walk hunt. Snowed several of the days. These gloves kept my hands warm no matter what I was doing. I fully recommend them to everyone!

5 Elijah T
I have owned these mittens through two seasons now. Through that time they have held up very well through trees, being dragged on the ground, and carrying around sharp edges of a snowboard. I waited on making a review to see how they held up over time after being completely soaked and dried numerous times, and evaluate the wear on the palm. Both have impressed, but not as much as their warming capability. The thing that will separate these from other mittens is their ability to warm while wet. They are not as waterproof as some other gloves as this price point, but they are the warmest mittens I have ever used and they retain that warming ability even when the inside is saturated. My suggestion would be an alternative to velcro for the wrist cuff as snow gets caught on it very easily, making it difficult to use( draw string?). These gloves have been used between temps of 15- 45 degrees F on the west and east coast in clear and stormy conditions. Picture displays palm wear after 1. 5 seasons of heavy use.

5 Jarrett F
These mitts kept my hands warm even on cold days! I did go out on a wet and warm day but it did n't seem to wet out on me on those days. If the mittens were exposed to water for a long duration of time then it may have soaked through. Overall great mittens and I would get them again!

Warm and comfortable. I use them on their own and under my OR gloves as an extra layer for skiing on cold days. Great for doing up the kids ski boots without getting cold hands.

5 Andrew F
Gloves have a great fit, allow for dexterity and are very comfortable. They can be used as a beefed up base layer glove. Very comfortable. Highly recommend.

5 T
Planning on using these once it cools down, July in Denver is no jokes but that's also probably why they were marked down so much. They are soft, and the medium fit my hands perfectly, I 'm sure these will come in handy once Fall/Winter hits. Also, the red color really pops!

5 Cody
Good mid/ lighter weight gloves for skinning in winter also good in spring/ fall weather.

5 Nails
These are super comfy and soft, thin enough to stay agile for tying knots or any other campsite tasks, but cozy enough to stay warm. I do n't think I would trust these to last super long on the trail using trekking poles all day, but that's not what these are for. They 're more like glove liners or campsite gloves than proper technical gloves. But for the price, fit, comfort and style, you ca n't beat them. They match up perfectly with my Trail Mix 1/4 Zip Pullover, which is great for those pics/vids while you 're hanging around the campgrounds. Just wish they had more colors.

Very pleased with these gloves!! I had read a review previously that he used them on fire assignments and was hooked, bought them a few weeks ago and took them out to OR on a fire and they did great! But BONUS I 've also put them to the test at tree climbing this week and they 've done really well! Only gripe is that they 've stretched a little bit, to where the extra space in the fingers gets stuck in carabiners from time to time. Easy to mitigate though, and the leather holds up super well to fire, ash, dirt, sap, ropes, and all:) plus do love that extra loop on the fingers to hang them in a way on my hip that keeps misc dirt from falling in.

5 Branden G
Used for military mountaineering a few times, worked well and they fit my hand perfectly. Inside was smooth and very comfortable.

5 Sev
These are my new favorite belay gloves! I take them up on the wall when I 'm doing multipitch climbs and also to the sport crag. They are versatile and generally awesome! I did get some holes in them after some usage, so be aware the durability is an issue, but I really have n't found a glove that's both dextrous and durable. Belay gloves put up with some serious abuse, so I 'm not really sure what's reasonable to expect.

5 JC71
() I 've been looking for the perfect pair of gloves for doing rope rescue training for Search and Rescue for a while now. The Granite gloves seemed a bit tight when I first got them, but within an hour of using them, they seemed to conform to my hands like an extra layer of skin. I have enough dexterity to tie and untie knots while wearing them and they give me plenty of protection when rappelling.

Great DWR and tough material for transitioning while backcountry riding. They have enough dexterity in order to put together a split board without having to take gloves off or get the gloves soaking wet.

I use these type of gloves for cold weather hiking/camping. I like to use gloves that allow my fingers to still be functional, so these are perfect.

5 Margaret
I 've been using these for cold weather biking. They are warm, slightly wind resistant and there is no seam along the inside of the thumb and palm so there's no pressure point when gripping handlebars. Unexpected but great feature. Just right. Also good for general use in cold, but not frigid temperatures. Great contoured fit.

4 Cameron G
These things definitely run a bit hot. I can barely take them of cold trail runs, and actually go with thinner gloves. But they 're great for backcountry skiing. They are also a bit small, I would go up one size than you think.

I used these at 10~15 degrees C, and my hands held some sweat. These gloves alone would be good between- 10~10 degree C. You would need extra thermal gears under- 10C. I felt the size runs a little large as I break in. You could do half size down if you want tight fits.

These gloves are great quality, fit as described, very comfortable, not bulky and very warm!

[ Purchased these for my girlfriend. She was having trouble keeping her hands dry in the snow. These kept her hands dry, are a lighter glove, and the cell phone usage feature works well.

[ They are great overall. Great materials. But they run a bit bigger

Bought for my wife. She loves them. Used several time in 20 degree weather, very warm and cozy. Touchscreen utility is a huge plus as well.

I love these gloves, they are so warm! I use them on their own hiking while splitboarding and as a liner for really cold days in the resort. The Small size fit my small hands very well... I have borderline kid size hands and they still fit me pretty well. I was able to use my phone with the gloves on my hands. Highly recommended if you want warm hands!

This gloves are awesome for all things outdoors. They fit snuggly and keep my hands warm so I can do all things fun in the snow.

I was expecting those gloves to be good, but they absolutely exceeded my expectations. The first time I wore them, I was outside for six hours in steady rain and near- freezing temperatures. My hands were the driest part of me. Not that these are waterproof- they aren't- but the grid fleece on the backs of the hands wicks and breathes so well that my body heat dried the gloves faster than they could get wet. My hands stayed warm and dry, and the fingers were still dextrous enough that I could work outside. Love these and will be buying more, plus anything else made of Vigor Plus fleece that I can get my hands on. Big improvement in fit over the previous year's model as well.

Does its job, but sizing is a bit off. Fingers too long to be functional

[ These gloves feel nice once on but I feel like the opening does n't give enough while putting them on. The finger material works well on mobile devices.

I can bird in cold weather and still keep my hands warm but functional for camera gear and binoculars.

Gloves are thick and are very warm. My only complaint is the pinky finger is a bit long.

A good running glove. Allows for much needed dexterity and warmth at the same time. The fit runs tight, so size up one size. The leather palm is great for the dog leash and appears it will last.

Was looking for a pair of gloves that was fingerless and had the mitten option. This was the only pair that was affordable, durable, and warm. I wore them for the bast two weeks and they are really the best option if you 're looking for a pair of gloves that can do it all.

5 Justin R.
I use these 98% of the time while backcountry skiing in the CO Rockies and they 're perfect.

My wife wanted a pair of fingerless mittens so that she could use her phone when outdoors in the winter. These worked well in that regard. Well constructed and functional.
