I purchased the grey Latitude hat in March 2019. It has traveled in my suitcase to multiple places over the years, and washing machine cycles, and it still has its shape. Since I started having children in 2019 it gets worn when I am outside no matter what. Most sun hats I have purchased fade from the constant sun exposure, but not the grey one. The brim has lost a lot of its firmness over the years, but it still retains its shape and does not sag or has gotten wrinkly. Recently I purchased the BlueStone color of this hat and it ’s beautiful. My grey one is my main garden hat now the blue one has replaced my daily use.

The folding brim allows you to wear it anywhere. If you want to take it off you just fold the brim and stuff the hat either into a pocket or down the sleeeve of your jacket. And you take off in the wind like the flying nun. These visors are the perfect length for keeping the sun out of your eyes. Bought this one to replace old one that was blue and has traveled around the world with me. Love how light and compact it can be when not wearing it and how you can expand it for wearing to keep sun off your face and neck. Only reason I have to replace old one after 12+ years is because of the metal in the outer part finally snapped in few spots. So outer part does not hold shape as well especially in wind. Mind you I washed it with similar color clothes probably once or wove a year( which might not have been recommended) and would fold it over twice to fit in top of back back on travel days in airports and buses. Since it doesn ’ t fold up, I put this terrific sun hat at the bottom of my suitcase, underneath the rest of my clothes. My husband also has this hat, and I got the same size, a large. So, that is a consideration when ordering. It really protects from the sun and isn ’ t too hot to wear in the heat.

I love this hat! It ’s lightweight but sturdy, with good wide brim and an adjustable fit. And, it looks good!

I use this hat for both gardening and hiking. I like that it is lightweight and easy to pack. It does n't take up a lot of room and when I unroll it, it keeps shape pretty good. At first I was disappointed with the cheap rubber chin strap lock, but it works out OK. I would definitely buy again, but I would measure my head first, I preemptively bought the size Large and it is a tad too big.
