It also made of a light weight material and is easy to clean after when I can ’ t keep my hands off my hat. I also love the extra- wide brim, which easily keeps my entire head and neck in the shade during the brightest hours of the day. I use this hat whenever I have to go outside for more than 5 minutes. The brim is extra wide and extra long in how it wraps around your head. I have a degenerative eye disease and am also quite photophobic so this hat is a godsend. Not only does it shield my face completely from the sun all the way around from ear to ear, the sides of the brim are out of the normal field of vision so it does not distract from my ability to see peripherally. [ I was in the market for a serious summer sun hat instead of the cheap ones available at all of the big box stores. After much research I decided on Sunday Afternoons Ultra Adventure Hat. I received it and I 'm lovin' it! The first thing I noticed was the air I could feel circulating on the top of my bald head. Having vents on your hat are important, however, they usually allow burning sun rays to filter through. Usually I have to decide between being sunburned without a hat or hot with a hat. The Ultra Adventure hat has happily made that decision for me with its ultraviolet protection factor of 50+, including the mesh panels. No more polka dot sunburned head! Also, its so light weight you can forget you have it on. It is really the lightest hat I have owned. Its hard to believe it can do its job and be so light on your head. The downward sloping 3 ¼ ” brim shades my entire face and the cape keeps the sun off my neck, which is another great design feature. This hat gives protection to head, face, neck and ears without being obtrusive. Other features include a sunglass lock that holds your glasses in place. It works too. I have tried to shake my head to dislodge them and they stay put. Also, if taking a hat in a back pack is an issue for you, this hat folds in half at the brim and can be kept in your pocket. My only complaint being left handed is that I wish there was a magnet on both sides. Not a deal breaker by any means and am excited to wear golfing next season!

[ I really like this hat. It has an adjustable strap in base so I can adjust to fit my head exactly. I do n't have to worry about it sliding forward or off when I tip my head down. It has a nice wide brim to shade from the sun and a strap I can snug up in windy weather. The dark gray color does not show dirt! Great hat.

[ Bought this for a vacation when I ’ d be outside a lot. Very comfortable and lightweight. Love the chin strap and ability to tighten it if needed when the wind blows more. Great but!

[ I love this hat! It is soft and sturdy and can easily be adjusted. I also love the color. My family says it will be easier to find me, but it also makes me happy. I expect this hat to allow me to hang in the sun without exposing my head and face to sun damage.
