I have this in many different colors. More expensive than many other golf hats, but well worth it. Quality, fit, materials, adjustability and style are all top notch. I recently bought this hat to keep the Florida sun off my ears and neck. It does a very good job at that. It also made of a light weight material and is easy to clean after when I can ’ t keep my hands off my hat. I have worn it for 4 18 hole rounds and still don ’ t have sweat stains on it, it has nice inside band that appears to absorb the sweat very well. It is also a nice size and not overly large.

My head is too large for `` one- size '' hats, but my extra- large head AND my ponytail can fit inside the extra- large size of this. I also love the extra- wide brim, which easily keeps my entire head and neck in the shade during the brightest hours of the day. Large hats can act like a sail in windy conditions, but the adjustable chin and crown straps are super helpful to comfortably keep this hat on. [ I was in the market for a serious summer sun hat instead of the cheap ones available at all of the big box stores. After much research I decided on Sunday Afternoons Ultra Adventure Hat. I received it and I 'm lovin' it! The first thing I noticed was the air I could feel circulating on the top of my bald head. Having vents on your hat are important, however, they usually allow burning sun rays to filter through. Usually I have to decide between being sunburned without a hat or hot with a hat. The Ultra Adventure hat has happily made that decision for me with its ultraviolet protection factor of 50+, including the mesh panels. No more polka dot sunburned head! Also, its so light weight you can forget you have it on. It is really the lightest hat I have owned. Its hard to believe it can do its job and be so light on your head. The downward sloping 3 ¼ ” brim shades my entire face and the cape keeps the sun off my neck, which is another great design feature. This hat gives protection to head, face, neck and ears without being obtrusive. Other features include a sunglass lock that holds your glasses in place. It works too. I have tried to shake my head to dislodge them and they stay put. Also, if taking a hat in a back pack is an issue for you, this hat folds in half at the brim and can be kept in your pocket. Without a doubt, this is the best hat on the market and worth every penny. I urge people to give this hat a try if you are shopping for the best hat out there. Since its guaranteed for life, it will probably be the last sun hat you need to buy!! You may want to buy more though as soon as everyone sees how cool it is!

The hat is great with useful features like the inner compartment, sunglass holders, and chin strap which are sometimes extra charge items. With regard to styling, construction, and function, this hat gives up nothing. That it's prices so reasonably for what it offers is just icing on the cake. Been wearing this hat hiking in the desert for probably five years. Wo n't hit the trail without it. Wicks away sweat very well and is very cool. I have washed this hat literally dozens of times which is why it does n't seem to have the SPF factor it once had. been getting sunburned on my head lately. I love wearing this hat. I am a letter carrier and have a walking route so I use it for head/face protection. I have washed it a few times and dried it in accordance with the instructions each time. The last time I washed it and was drying it by way of the instructions but I got a little inpatient and decided to throw it in the dryer with air dry. I could not believe it but it still shrunk. So my next one will be dried by there recommendation.

My kids and I love our hats for a couple of reasons. First, they are so light that we do n't feel like we are even wearing a hat that gives great sun coverage, but we are! Second, my kids are able to get great sun coverage with comfort. In the past most of the hats they wore had brims in the back too. This would cause them to have to take the hats off when they sat in their cars seats, etc. Now they keep them on and they stay on because of the flat feature in the back of these hats! Great design! I love this hat I because it fits well, protects me from the sun and it is waterproof. I wear it when doing water exercise and when riding bike. I also purchased the Sombriolet sun hat which has a wider brim, vents and a chord to tighten to my head. I use both and I am very pleased because of the functionality and quality. PS I still use my baseball cap and visors.

Best hat I ever had. Wife says it looks great. I did have to size up 1/4( from 7- 3/8 to 7- 5/8) since these hats are size specific and tend to run a tad small. Unless you have purchased Tilley previously, you should go into a store to try it on.
