Currently I have 3 Elevate Hoodies and love them all! The New Edition has 2 slight differences from it's predecessor. This one the shoulder has the typical straight line sleeve divider compared to the smooth rollover sleeve. Both designs are appealing and obviously have a slightly different appearance. Probably a good thing since I wear them all the time! The other difference is the thumbhole on the sleeve. The previous edition has a loop for the middle finger and covers the top of the hand slightly better for fishing, but for everyday wear the thumbhole is ideal. I work from home and basically wear the Elevate Hoodie all day with my Breeze Pants. Took these on a trip around the Colorado four pass loop. As is typical, we got caught in an afternoon storm at 10, 000 feet and suited up. Pants kept us dry from the rain and wete sufficiently breathable for 2 hours of rainy hiking. They are definitely pants to put on BEFORE it rains because the ankle zips do n't accommodate footwear too well. But I knew that going in. Zippers are fail points for waters so we elected to minimize the water ingress points. Tl; dr kept us dry. Breathed well for intense, medium duration active wear

I love it! I am really specific about sun shirts because I live and work on boats and wear a sun shirt most days. Full disclosure: I have tried the Crater Lake and Sunshadow before this and really did not like them. The Crater Lake is 1) kind of soft and does n't breath as well as this one and 2) had sloppy sewing so the sleeve hem unravelled after a couple months of wear. The Sunshadow was low stretch and super restricting to wear and the fabric stained really easily. This* Sunblocker* is amazing. The fabric is super quick drying but not scratchy, the sewing is really neat, and the fabric is stretchy and not restrictive. I sized up from S to M and am glad I did. I personally love the crop. It still protects my whole back, even when I bend over, but is n't too long. Overall, I 'm really happy with it!

This is my favourite Base layer hoodie for day to day and backpacking. There is a nice wide brim on it to shade your face. The fit is relaxed so it never feels uncomfortable. The sleeves are long enough to cover your hands to keep them shaded. The fabric is crazy breathable and dries super fast. The hoody is a bit heavy at 170grams but not having to use a stupid ball cap on my head more than makes up for that.

I really like the size of the hood and the fact that it covers your neck. If you wear it with a brimmed hat the hood protects your peripheral from sun as well. This rain jacket is super impressive. When it comes to traveling, camping, hiking, or even exploring new cities, countries, etc. You ca n't beat the portability of this jacket. It is super thin and light making it easy to roll up and store into any type of bag weather it's a backpack, purse, or even large fanny pack. Even for being so light and thin, it easily stops water from getting through. I 've had zero issues with any type of moisture getting inside either due to prolonged periods of water exposure or leaks through any seals and stitching. I will say, because it's so thin, in colder weather, you would need a warmer layer underneath to act as insulation. That being said, you might need to get one size up than normal so it can fit over any layers you need. Also, if you are traveling through any thick brush or scraping up against rocks, you need to be careful about scraping or snagging any sharp/rough surfaces too hard to prevent any micro/macro tears in the material. Being so thin, it's not super durable, but it's not very easily torn either. Overall fantastic product and highly recommend

The Abisko fleece is very light and great as a base layer. I regularly wear this around the house on chilly days and as a base layer in the cold. The fit is great. I typically hover between a medium and a small. I went with the medium. It fits a little loose for me which I do not mind.

If you are a former military member and are familiar with the standard issued waffles we were issued for out winter gear then this might feel familiar to you. It feels lighter weight and more breathable while maintaining its insulation properties. And neat fun fact it ’s also 100% recycled. I ’ m a man of many shapes and sizes and the jacket really hides the fact that I was a military man. The thumb holes are subtle enough to be missed but once found it makes the jacket feel like one long fingerless glove. If I had kids I pass this to them. For now, this is mine.

It is very lightweight and does n't feel like anything when it's on but provides a surprising amount of warmth on chilly days. I 'm a big jacket person, I have one for just about every weather situation and this is my go to in the spring and summer. It's really effective at blocking wind while I 'm biking, I 'll layer a fleece if it's chilly. During the summer it's the perfect weight for cool nights and keeping bugs off of you without overheating, it has light water resistance so this is definitely not a `` rain jacket '' but it does dry super fast if it gets wet. It packs down very small and also the perfect travel companion.

I purchased one of these in Copenhagen 4 years ago, and have worn it on the beach in Oregon at least 500 times. There are no signs of fraying, material is still strong, zippers work great. If it rains, or excess wind demands it, the hood fits well and tightens with clever elastic locking adjusters. The length is just right for me, not too long like some. Chest pocket is perfect for keeping my wallet/ID. I have collected rocks over the years and just put them in the side pocket, and they are still strong. Light weight but excellent in windy conditions. I do n't need to replace it but after 4 years it's looking a bit faded so I ordered another one in a different color and it's on the way. Expect the new one is the same great jacket. Thank you Fjall Raven. In my entire life I do n't think I 've worn a single jacket so much, and I 've never taken the time to go online and praise a piece of clothing but this deserves that.

[ Wore this on a cruise to Ireland& Scotland. It repelled wind& light rain and I found myself reaching for this jacket often. The fit is nice, I 'm 6' 4 and the XL is nearly perfect. The sleeves are little long( my size is 36/37 so this is probably 37/38) but I 'm ok with it. The front/back length is passing for my height but if the back was longer( like they do with some jackets) it would be even better. If you 're 6' 2 to 6' 3 I think the length would be perfect on both sides. The body is roomy but not baggy, and fortunately not slim fit like some. It's not the best in the cold and the material has a cool feel against the skin, so I wore this with a L/S wool baselayer. Mountain grey is a killer color, my favorite from this brand thus far. I really like they style and I got several compliments.

When asked what he likes most about them he pointed out that they are incredibly stretchy and flexible but have a nice sturdy feel to them. He prefers a trimmer fit to his shorts with longer inseams and these were perfect! They also have cargo short style storage while still looking much cleaner and sleeker. I roll these up and bring them in pack every trip, they 're great for when I get to camp and start to chill, they work as swim shorts and dry quick, they work if it's really a hot day and the trail is n't too rugged. Great improvements from last year. I liked the trail sender shorts from last year and these improve on the previous version in several ways. First, the best thing about the previous version is the ultra lightweight ripstop fabric and how well it performs in hot weather- the only comparable pants I ’ ve found in weight are the Patagonia Terrebonne joggers, and these are somehow feel even cooler in hot( 90+ F) humid weather. The new 2024 version feels like it has the same fit, but improves on some annoyances from last year: 1. The waistband is slightly elastic, which is more comfortable from previous near 0 stretch 2. The pockets are deeper and the zip pocket has been moved from the front thigh to the side hip. This is a big improvement where your phone no longer barely fits in the pocket or runs up against your hipbone when sitting 3. The construction feels higher quality and more premium. Too early to tell on how durability will compare but definitely feels like it ’ ll perform better Very happy with all the changes made!

Took these on a trip around the Colorado four pass loop. As is typical, we got caught in an afternoon storm at 10, 000 feet and suited up. Pants kept us dry from the rain and wete sufficiently breathable for 2 hours of rainy hiking. They are definitely pants to put on BEFORE it rains because the ankle zips do n't accommodate footwear too well. But I knew that going in. Zippers are fail points for waters so we elected to minimize the water ingress points. Tl; dr kept us dry. Breathed well for intense, medium duration active wear

I bought this in the early summer bc I was in desperate need of a new rain jacket( my old one was literally crumbling apart!). This past weekend I assisted in the rescue 7 people who were capsized in a pontoon boat. I dove into the water with phone and all in the pocket of this jacket. After the scary event ended I took my phone out of my pocket and was shocked to still see the phone screen activated! The phone still needed about 7 hours to completely dry out and let me charge it but it ’s completely fine now. When the pace picked up or we were going uphill, the pit- zips were great additions to help keep me comfortable and prevent overheating.
