Very nice bag in fun colors! It has two zipper pockets I ’ ll call the main ones the bigger one towards the back has 2 compartments in it. One is padded with a bit of covering. The font pocket has a place for keys. And lots of room for smaller stuff. Then in the strap there ’s a zippered place for your sun glasses. And on top of the pack there ’s 2 stamps that tighten down for water bottles my is 36 oz. Or a tent.

I bought this 2 yrs ago for a long weekend trip. I do n't like to check luggage so this was perfect for a carry on. I was able to OVER pack for a 3- 4 day trip multiple times. This is the only bag I use now. I was able to fit an extra pair of sneakers and flip flops in the side compartments and utilized the spot for my 13 '' iPad. The shoulder straps come in key since the bag can fit a heavy amount of clothes.

I do have one little gripe( not with the bag, but the packaging) You guys wrap all of the zippers in tape and paper, I 'm assuming to protect them from getting scratched. Do you know when it will absolutely get scratched? When I 'm trying to cut the tape off. Let them be free! Anyway, I love this design. I bought the Pollinator Orange in person at a local store, after it being the one orange I was like `` maybe it's too bright..? '' In person, it is much more of a brighter burnt orange, and I was instantly in love. I was searching for a duffle for its soft body vs any other luggage to have something easy to pack( big and roomy) and easy to grab and carry( handles on the sides of this bag, the backpack straps, or top carry straps!). I use it to pack for weekends at my partner's and future plans and it fits SO much!! The duffle is designed to fold into itself for storage as well and the wrapped outer part becomes a pocket accessible from in and outside of the duffle. I absolutely recommend this, and I appreciate all the colour options and its durability! A Pufferfish Gold one is in my partner's future, too:) You wo n't regret this purchase!! Though, it can be hard to unpack/repack, I think, it is worth it for what this duffle bag is when you use it.

The Nouveau Green looks a little more teal in the photos, more dark green in real life. I wish the piping were n't chartreuse. But it's sturdy, amazing that it can fit in that small pocket, though I doubt I can get it all back in there. Expensive for what it does, but all recycled and Patagonia is a conscientious company. It does fit in the overhead bins, despite being larger than the 40L that is more explicitly aimed at carry- on.

We absolutely love this bag as our personal item( as long as it's not overstuffed, it fits easily under the seat) to bring our toddler's plane snacks, toys, tablet, and other travel essentials along with a smattering of items we want to keep on us instead of checking through. The water bottle holders are fantastic and fit a regular nalgene perfectly. For trips without the toddler, it makes a fantastic one- bag option for light travel. And we 're finding that we go to it for non- airplane travel too( taking snacks, raincoats, umbrellas, change of clothes, and subway activities on local rainy- day excursions).

The Hikelite 18 is incredible for travel, day hikes, daily commuting via bike, and more. It fits under an airplane seat, has hydration bladder capability for day hikes, includes a chest and waist strap to secure the bag to you when biking, and it is the perfect size. Someone wrote that the Hikelite is lacking a handle loop. IDK, mine has one. As I do with all my backpacks, I put a large S- biner on it, so I can hang it, it even hooks over 40 cm thick stall doors so I do n't have to set my pack down. It can be easily folded back up to fit inside. There are sturdy metal rods, with a heavy duty mesh piece on the back. It will definitely hold up when hiking. Firstly, this bag has a small plastic internal frame to provide structure. The frame is lightweight, yet sturdy enough for a fully packed bag. Because of the frame's assistance with weight distribution, everything felt lighter on my back. This bag also has many different pockets and straps for varied packing strategies. The straps on the bottom of the bag are perfect for a sleeping bag, ground mat, or small tent. Underneath those straps is a small pocket that holds an included rain cover to keep your bag totally dry during heavy rain. There is also a pocket on top of the bag for any small items you may need to access on the go, without opening or unpacking the rest of the bag. Finally, there is a pocket for a hydration bladder, so you can stay hydrated as you move. Some other useful features are the emergency whistle on the chest strap, the included strap management bungees( so those leftover strap ends after adjustment are n't hanging everywhere), and the water bottle pockets on the sides. Overall, I would give this product a 5/5. Met or exceeded all of my expectations. I would highly recommend this bag to anybody who is a frequent camper or hiker.

I bought this 2 yrs ago for a long weekend trip. I do n't like to check luggage so this was perfect for a carry on. I was able to OVER pack for a 3- 4 day trip multiple times. This is the only bag I use now. I was able to fit an extra pair of sneakers and flip flops in the side compartments and utilized the spot for my 13 '' iPad. The shoulder straps come in key since the bag can fit a heavy amount of clothes.

I actually have two of these and they are fantastic bags. 5 star. I do have one little gripe( not with the bag, but the packaging) You guys wrap all of the zippers in tape and paper, I 'm assuming to protect them from getting scratched. Do you know when it will absolutely get scratched? When I 'm trying to cut the tape off. Let them be free! Anyway, I love this design. Could be a duffle, could be a backpack, nice separations for travel. Great personal bag for an airplane. It looks slick. More comfortable of a backpack than the basecamp duffle for sure. Still getting used to it but currently on a trip in Italy with this backpack. At first it seems like you need to lay it flat to access or put away anything. However, when on the go, you can just open the zippers on the top to access the different departments, and by only opening the zipper on the top, I was able to create another pocket and start using it like a normal backpack, just throwing things in there instead of opening another zipper. just took out my 1997 yellow duffel that I had since college to send it to overnight camp with my 11 year old daughter. It was filhty and covered with cobwebs. I threw it in the washer and now my 30 year old duffel bag looks brand new. The whole situation is pretty ridiculous. Im including pics because im sure nobody will believe it. I have several sizes of these bags I use for various adventures.( not a hard core adventurer) All have been tough, rugged and weather resistant.( I would n't dunk them in water but do n't worry about wet ground or rain) The handles and shoulder straps are comfortable. Bag is big and voluminous. I wish there was a compartment on both ends and/or a way to section the one big space.
