I pair this visor with earmuffs when I wear my parka with the hood up. I wanted to shade my face and eyes from the sun. I needed a visor that did n't wrap half way around my head and was flexible enough to let my parka hood come around my face. This visor is perfect for that. I have been looking for the perfect visor for several years after my favorite was discontinued. Most of the ones with wider brims were just too big and made me look silly. I have a very small face. And you take off in the wind like the flying nun. These visors are the perfect length for keeping the sun out of your eyes. I love the lightness; however, I ’ m not sure how they will fair in strong winds. I also wish they had more colors to choose from. I like the light gray, however, it didn ’ t allow me to tighten it enough; The light purple was easier to tighten to my needs. Another way visor would be even better is to have a terrycloth lining on the inside of the headband.

I bought this hat to replace a standard cap i was wearing with my raincoat to keep rain out of my face and it works like a dream! The old cap would start leaking and inevitably stop serving a purpose. But not this one! I have worn it on a couple hikes too! It is very light weight, adjustable, and most importantly it does what i needed it to! I use this for trail running in freezing temperatures, for yard work when it's pouring and also for travelling. It's windproof, lightweight, I like the blue color, so what's not to like? I can not use for temperatures below- 10C or below 15F where I use a warm wool hat, otherwise this is what I call a AWD hat( All Weather Design)

My dermatologist recommended Sunday Afternoons and I ’ m really glad she did. For health reasons, more than ever, I need to really hide from sun exposure but I am not one to just stay inside. As a paddler and former kayak guide, I have a lot of paddle hats. Several models like this have a brim that goes down too far and makes it hard to see. This one is perfect. The brim is the perfect angle and it fits well. It has a little stretch and covers my entire face and neck without looking too silly. Huge fan. I have three of these hats. I keep one in the car and one in my backpack so I always have it on hand. I am a redhead and these do the best job of protecting my neck, scalp, and face of any hat I have owned. I also love the folding brim so it can go in a pocket. It stays on well in windy conditions if you snap it under your chin. I wish it came in more colors. Fun ones. I would love orange or teal or fuchsia.
