These are great duffel bags! I ordered the red, green, and white ones. I ordered the small size, because I just need it for daily trips to the YMCA f and maybe for a day or two trip here or there. It will hold a pair of shoes and a basketball, my swimming gear, and a change of clothes no problem. I use the shoe garage for a basketball and put the shoes on the other side to get the extra room when carrying both. If you are looking to carry a lot more I 'd move up to the medium size which I purchased at first, but it was just to big for my needs. The small is perfect in my opinion. The red and white bags really pop, but that Oregon green really takes the take. The black option looks ok too, but I just like the other 3 colors better.

Very nice bag in fun colors! It has two zipper pockets I ’ ll call the main ones the bigger one towards the back has 2 compartments in it. One is padded with a bit of covering. I 've been using this Surge backpack since 2019 and it has been great! I 've heard my family's thoughts on the newer model of the same backpack and they are not as impressed. The straps are more prone to breaking and the seams have started tearing pretty early in the life of their backpack. This being said, my older model has been so great! It's gone through years of hauling notebooks, folders, textbooks, water bottles, and clothes for practice after school. One of the shoulder straps did begin to tear last year( 2024) slightly but a quick stitch- job has got it back to working order. I would definitely buy a North Face backpack again!

I love how the laptop sleeve has a false bottom so when you place the laptop in the backpack it does n't accidentally knock the surface the backpack may be resting on. Great for the price. I 'm a hydration pack fanatic because I use them several times a week. This one is quite good. The good: Really well made and durable materials. It is a really versatile hydration pack that can be used for hiking, cycling, etc. It has some internal pockets in the main compartment that really distributes your stuff and the weight well and keeps the pack well balanced. The back pads are nice and plush. The straps are stout. The external stuff pockets on the side/front are very useful. I like how the waist straps tuck away if you are not using them. Trekking pole straps/compression straps are nice. The pack is really streamlined, fits snug against the body, and is very stable for activity. The stuff that can be improved: The hydration bladder and bite valve are not the best, but they do function decent and for the price it is not a big deal. It would be nice to have some sort of velcro on the large external stuff pocket just to secure your stuff a little.

The Nouveau Green looks a little more teal in the photos, more dark green in real life. I wish the piping were n't chartreuse. But it's sturdy, amazing that it can fit in that small pocket, though I doubt I can get it all back in there. Expensive for what it does, but all recycled and Patagonia is a conscientious company.
