I bought these because I liked the zip- off Ferrosi's so much and these pants are great! Despite being in the same family, the fabric feels a little different between these and the zip- offs but still incredibly stretchy and breathable. Like the zip- off, these have the built- in draw string and leg cuffs which is handy for ditching the belt and being able to pull up the cuffs if you like. These have become more of my casual around town pant now because they 're just so comfortable.

The weight and fabric is breathable light. It is the lightest pants I have hiked with. In areas where shorts are not the best option but it is hot these have been a life saver! I like the pockets and drawstring at the waist and ankles. Beginners and experts could both benefit from these pants. The only drawback is that it is thin fabric which can snare on twigs and tear. Pretty durable for their weight though.

My last pair shrunk a bit so I upsided on these in case of that. These are the most comfortable hiking pants I have owned. Also very durable. My last pair had the zipper to make shorts, which I hardly ever used and was less comfortable due to the zipper. But what I love about them is that the fully separating zippers allow me to don and doff them without the need to tak my boots off and on. Even more importantly you make them in a short length( I am only 5' 1 '') and that is the ONLY way this concept works. One of the best mountaineering pants you can get- durable, breathable, and yet still warm at any altitude. These are my go- to pants for many PNW mountain treks( Mt Adams, Middle Sister, Mt. Hood, etc). The fit is fairly true- to- size, but I would have expected a bit more stretch in the waist. I 'm usually a 32 in most clothing, and M's feel a bit tight. There's plenty of stretch in the legs which makes for easily climbing, but the waist can definitely be a bit annoying. It's not enough to take away from how great these are, but something to consider if you 're on the border of sizes.

It's true that this fabric does pill little bit but hear me out- they 're still totally worth it! I work exclusively outside for my fulltime job, hiking 5 miles per day on average and I genuinely wear these pants 4 days a week at minimum. I 've had the same pairs of Ferrosi's for over 5 years and though pilled, they 've lasted perfectly and show no other signs of wear. I love the way these pants feel and look. I recently bike commuted in them in the rain and unexpectedly they did great shedding water, they barely got wet at all. I love the stretchy waistband and overall fit. Being a little taller, they bottoms are a few inches above my ankles but that's fine if you 're looking for that. I would love an identical option that extended another 6 '' or so and in a few more fun colors. I 'm about 5' 7 '' and 133# and a size S was just right to avoid a baggy look that still moved well. I always seem to fall somewhere between an OR size S and M for bottoms, though.

I climb in them frequently and they hold up on wide cracks and sharp crystals. They look great and are so comfortable. I recently took a skid on a downhill abrasive, pebbly hike and thought `` this is end of these pants ''. I was wrong- they were n't at all damaged and the rock dust just brushed off. I would love to see some more colors in muted tones- gray, drab olive green, etc. The khaki color goes with most color tops, but the green is an evergreen color that does n't go with most of my wardrobe, just the black and white tops. Kids go to a camp in CO where it rains a fair amount so rain pants are on the required packing list. This was the pair they had this year and they loved them. They were great because they were light weight and easy to pack. In terms of water protection they were as good as any of the previous ones they have used. I 've had several pairs of rain pants from other manufacturers over the years and these are the best so far. They do n't restrict my leg movements, do n't leak, and are easy to get on and off. The rise is high, so you have good overlap with your top and the waist drawstring seems sturdy enough, although I pair them with suspenders also. Rain and wet brush are expected if you are outside much of the year here in the PNW, so you need some good rain pants.

These pants are extremely flattering, but I am not a curvy girl... I 'm more straight- shaped. I could see why a curvy figure would have some issues with the waistband. I absolutely love the thickness/warmth and texture of these pants. The fit is great one of my favorite pieces as far as how it compliments my body shape or lack there of. Haha

I had high expectations after hearing so much about this brand and reading countless reviews, but let me tell you—it exceeded them all. This is the most expensive pair of trousers I ’ ve ever purchased, but they ’ re worth every single penny. The only downside? I don ’ t think I ’ ll ever want to wear any other trousers again! They have a unique balance of rigidity and stretch, making them great for outdoor activities while still being stylish and comfortable for everyday wear—especially if you choose a versatile color. Regarding sizing, they ’ re said to be true to size, but in my experience, the waist runs slightly tight. If you ’ re buying from this brand for the first time, I ’ d recommend going one size up. This allows room for layering in harsh winters, while in summer, you can simply adjust with a belt. Overall, an incredible purchase!

Went hiking in the Lake District and discovered my abisko tights were too large. Fortunately, I found a Fjallraven vendor and found these tights, which turned out perfect as I need a bit more insulation. I love the feel of these. They kept me warm on some pretty brutal days. They dry quickly. I am absolutely in love with Fjallraven tights, and these are a new favorite.

First let me say that I 'm not a person who wears tights- never have been- but these have changed my mind. I was on the fence about ordering for the longest time and I 'm so glad I finally did. They are thick enough that they feel more like pants to me and oh, so comfortable. The waistband is high, but not too high and the overall fit is just perfect. The leg pockets are deep and secure and the reflective piping at the ankles is a really nice touch. I had thought I might need to wear long underwear with them to be warm enough, but the wind proof panels are a life saver and they are plenty warm if you keep moving.(* An added bonus is that dog hair does not stick to them!) I 'm 5' 6, 140 lbs, average build and the Medium fits perfectly( In the Keb's I wear a 38EU)

These are really nice, thick, snug ski pants, but if you carry your weight in your hips and thighs, order up a size. I got them on, but was afraid I would break the zipper if I tried to force it. I know they are supposed to be snug, but I had to return my normal pant size and go up one. Cant wait for the bigger pair.
