It can be easily folded back up to fit inside. There are sturdy metal rods, with a heavy duty mesh piece on the back. It will definitely hold up when hiking. Firstly, this bag has a small plastic internal frame to provide structure. The frame is lightweight, yet sturdy enough for a fully packed bag. Because of the frame's assistance with weight distribution, everything felt lighter on my back. This bag also has many different pockets and straps for varied packing strategies. The straps on the bottom of the bag are perfect for a sleeping bag, ground mat, or small tent. Underneath those straps is a small pocket that holds an included rain cover to keep your bag totally dry during heavy rain. There is also a pocket on top of the bag for any small items you may need to access on the go, without opening or unpacking the rest of the bag. Finally, there is a pocket for a hydration bladder, so you can stay hydrated as you move. Some other useful features are the emergency whistle on the chest strap, the included strap management bungees( so those leftover strap ends after adjustment are n't hanging everywhere), and the water bottle pockets on the sides. Overall, I would give this product a 5/5. Met or exceeded all of my expectations. I would highly recommend this bag to anybody who is a frequent camper or hiker.

Perhaps the best backpack Nike has never made. Within a span of 4 years I ’ ve collected two with a third on the way. Well engineered and stitched together. I ’ ve use it as a personal carry bag, hauled it through congested city streets on two continents and multiple cities and even used a gym bag with all sorts of gear and at most two pairs of shoes comfortably. The side pockets can hold two 32 ounce vacuumed sealed water bottles without any issues. The top small pocket intended for sunglasses has enough ample space for additional items like headphones and a case for glasses. Fully loaded I ’ ve ever had one of these backpacks is at most 45 pounds. Shoulder straps are wide and really comfortable. The adjustability of the shoulder straps is effortless. The addition of the sternum strap gave more stability for heavier loads. The MOLLE style attachment points makes this bag even more versatile to add more items to the face and sides of this bag and has came in clutch many times over. It ’s over built enough for many years of extensive use. They ’ re a bunch of key features I ’ m forgetting but overall you can not go wrong with this bag. Definitely worth it ’s weight in gold!

I have had this bag since 2017 and I beat the crap out of it and it has held up beyond my expectations.. The only thing I wish is that I could wash it better, because I am so hard on my stuff. I would put one more strip of padding on the bottom of the area for the laptop and two way zippers for the front little pocket, One other suggestion is for the side pockets where you can put your drinks it would be cool if one of those was a little longer, and you could zip it up.... This bag is very well made, nothing has come apart, nothing has had to be replaced and all the zippers are intact at almost 8 years since purchase with daily use!
