Unbelievable shorts with amazing stretch for those big thigh girlies. I think my only critique is the pockets stick out a little too much for my liking. However the deep pockets are very VERY much appreciated! The waist band of these shorts is supple and so comfy, never a moment of feeling like it ’s too tight or had buttons pushing into me. Can be used for hikes, swims, paddle boarding, and climbing.

Im a female in carpentry and these are my favorite shorts! They do n't ride up, the inseam is perfect length& ca n't see anything up my shorts when I 'm on a ladder, the waist band is so stretchy and comfy these are perfect with my heavy tool belt, they keep me so cool on hot days. And they have a sporty yet professional look to them. These shorts are perfect.

Great causal wear shorts. Perfect fir and love thr color.

5 Reticula
Very comfy nice pockets. Would get thee same again or similar. Love the color and how they feel.

5 KGDana
I bought two pairs of these and I absolutely love them. I ’ m pear- shaped and short( 5 ’ 1 ”) and these are flattering, not too tight, and not too short. Plus, they have all these fun pockets without being bulky or silly looking. They will be perfect for summer walks/hikes or just cute with a t- shirt in the backyard.

5 Kelly
Very comfy, great fit and generous pockets. I can fit all my essentials; phone, keys, wallet, lip balm, handkerchief, sunglasses. Only wish the flaps had a secure closure. The flaps are heavy enough that things don ’ t fall out and the third pocket zips shut. Still a win.

5 Diane P.
Really like these shorts. Great fit, soft, pockets and travel well.

5 Carey T.
Amazing shorts that have now become my new favorite in my rotation! They are long enough to be super comfortable for long hikes and walks while still looking cute! The pockets are big and the back pocket is perfect for little items. I ’ m going back to get 3 more pairs before my hiking trip next month.

5 Lauren J.
Great quality pair of shorts, love the color and the functional pockets. My only comment is the drawstring is a tad short to tie comfortably, but I 've been living in these shorts and thinking of buying a 2nd pair!

I bought these a few months back and have really enjoyed them. They feel nice and light and very non- restricting when in performance.

good fabric, perfect light shorts for gym, errands, or a swim

5 John G
Super lightweight and comfortable. Have to two front pockets, with they had one in the back so you can wear them as everyday shorts if you needed.

5 HikeMarker
I 've been wearing for a few weeks. These are turning into my workout shorts. Have done done a few base training runs and they 're comfortable and feel great. I 'm not sure I would wear them on a really long run but did 90min run in them and they were great. Will use them for camping/ hiking/ swim combo this summer for sure. I 'm a 33 '' waste and the L fits great.

5 m_bur
I travel quit a bit and wanted a pair of shorts that I could work out in, trail run, swim in, etc. Also wanted something that would dry quickly. These are great for that. I generally wear a shorter inseam specifically or trail running, but this inseam was a more modest and `` everyday comfortable '' approach. Got the shorts with the AirShell Hoody and together they 're a great combo. Would recommend as a all purpose trail short.

The fit of these shorts is great and I love the high functionality( zip fly, zip pocket), without the high weight. I 'm a muscular thigh guy at 5' 8 '' and 165lbs and the 31 '' fits great, very streamlined straight leg fit. Super comfortable for day wear so far- ca n't wait to take them on a 10- day hike this summer!

5 Alex W
Love these as a lightweight summer short. I have a couple pairs in different colors that I rotate through. Really like the drawstring waistband and not having to deal with a belt. The ferrosi fabric is lightweight and durable. They look great too!

5 Wes D
They gave the Ferrosi's an adjustable waist draw chord so you do n't have to wear a belt. Excellent shorts, high quality, nice fit, and feel.

5
My third pair of Ferosi shorts- they wear well and look great.

Outdoor Research Ferrosi Shorts are my go- to shorts for hiking! They are fantastic for anything from a short day hike to a multi- day trek! They are lightweight, tough and very comfortable! They last a long time, which does n't surprise me because all Outdoor Research products are of the highest quality and dependable!

I 'm a lover of hiking shorts with no built in belt or elastic waist. I still rock belts to hang stuff. The old ferrosi Outdoor research shorts were my jam. When those changed, I moved to Patagonia quandary. Now those have changed and these Basin trek are my favorite. I like em long with the 9in length.

5 Kons
Great shorts, light, comfortable and durable. Fit true to size.

[ Loving my new trek shorts. Very breathable, smooth material that gets the job done on a hot day hiking or just casually strolling around town!

5 dg
Currently my favorite shorts. They look good enough for everyday wear, and are light enough to be my go to for any outdoor adventure. They are waterproof so it saved me buying a new bathing suit. Only design issue is the zipper sticks out unless you remember to hide it.

5 badworker
lightweight fabric and sharp colors make these versatile enough for working out or dining out, either one. hard to beat. i 'd purchase more if you had the stock[ and additional colors].

These shorts are great. I wear them while doing mostly everything. They are a nice strong material and a great fit! I got the 7 in inseam size 32. Im about 170 and 5 10.

Please add zippered pockets like on my 2 pair of Chockstone shorts.

4 Reid O.
Excellent fit and cut. Maybe run a little tight in the waist and hips, slim through the leg. The new AP Active fabric is amazing. Its super soft, breathable, has great stretch. I am giving 4* because the front hip pockets are awkwardly short. I have a normal sized mobile phone and it wo n't fit in those pockets( or the rear pockets) vertically. Also, I wonder about the durability of the fabric long term. That being said, I am going to get another pair. I 'd buy even more if these were a tad heavier and with 5 pocket styling.
