Great Product. I really enjoy the ability to hop on and do any number of easily accesible iFIT workouts. It also has the quick start setting where you can get on and just start rowing, which is nice for crossfit and HIIT style workouts. Set up isnt bad. Easy to set up and workout right after.

Because it ’s fun and enjoyable, I ’ ve been able to stick with it and see results. It ’s comfortable, the screen is nice, and the iFIT trainers help teach you how to row properly. You can create your own intensity with intervals which makes you feel 100% in charge of your workout! All the better that during the workout, you can watch Netflix on the screen through IFIT and still see all your stats! It's been an awesome addition to my home gym and looks super sleek as well.

The magnetic flywheel really reduces the space this takes up and adds to the quietness. I will say I do n't think the upgrade to the 24- inch screen is worth the$ 300 price difference over the 22- inch screen model. We 've had our Aviron for 3 years and it's the most consistently used workout equipment we 've ever owned. The best investment in our health that we could make. I 'm a former college athlete heading into middle age, so I still love working hard and being competitive... but I also need to take it a little easier on my knees. With my Aviron rower, I still get to work as hard as I want, participate in competitions, and not worry about hurting because it's low- impact! The countless programs to choose from match whatever mood I 'm in, so I 'm never bored- which had been the bane of every machine we 've had in the past. Rowing solo or with friends, competitive or casual, whatever intensity I choose, achievements and leaderboards, monthly challenges, streaming movies or listening to my playlists, structured programs that take the guesswork out of what to row next, instructor- led or not... The setup is amazingly and extensively diverse. All of these options come with the subscription, but one of the things that made me choose Aviron is the fact that, even without a subscription, you can STILL row metrics. The other smart rowers did not offer that. Theirs are no- subscription= no rowing. We assembled it quickly and easily( we are NOT handy people) and it works very well. I 'm a beginner so I ca n't comment on the display- I 'm just trying to burn calories, not race. I like the fact that it's higher than other water rowers because I have lower back issues, so the fact that it's a bit higher, and also that the back/seat is higher than the feet seems to alleviate stress on my lower back. The only `` surprise '' was that it is a bit noisier than other water rowers BUT I think that's because of the tilt of the tank. That said, I think the tilt makes for a better workout because it seems like you 're pulling the propellers through more water( pooled at the bottom of the tank) than you would be with the same amount of water in a flat tank. Frankly, when I tested the flat/level tank it felt `` too easy '' for me. Yes, I know it's about how fast I pull, but I like the additional resistance. It's not so much that it's noisy as that I ca n't watch/listen to anything unless I make it loud. My husband said you barely hear it in the rest of the house. I just wear earbuds so I can listen. One other thing to note: even though you can put an iPad on the lip of the display, you have to be sure to tilt it backwards a bit so the display does n't flop forward from the weight. Last, but not least, you ca n't beat the price( and nominal delivery charge) and availability. It arrived within a few days of ordering it. Great purchase!

This is a fantastic rower. I was a little concerned it would be of poor quality due to the price compared to the others, but if you aren ’ t a peloton groupie and don ’ t need false encouragement tossed at you every five seconds, save some money and get this one. The water resistance is perfect, and once I get stronger the magnetic resistance is going to build on that.( If you do need some false encouragement, there ’s always Apple fitness+) It hooked seamlessly to my phone and the app works perfectly. I also enjoy the beginner classes where they don ’ t try to kill you in a 10 minute Beginner workout.

The model with the multi function monitor allows for interval training. Only change made was to place the front supports on a 2 '' X 6 '' X 3' board to raise the position, which worked better for me. I rowed in college, the Stamina X Air brings back many great memories.

I purchased this rower about a month ago. This machine gives an excellent total body workout! I use it 30 minutes per day 4 or 5 days per week. It has stood up well to the heavy use. The monitor is sufficient for tracking your workout. I use it mostly as a timer. I will be purchasing a simple heart rate monitor to ensure I am reaching my target heart rate. I read other reviews that said it was loud but the noise level is what one should expect from an air resistance rower. It is fan noise. I listen to music on portable speakers while I row. The machine is in a room next to my living room and there is no problem hearing the TV while the rower is in use. Very happy with this rower!
