These hold up to moderate abrasion better than drapey polyester shorts. They ’ re perfect for rock climbing. The wide leg opening and stretch makes them great for lifting or running too. These are my new favorite running shorts. The length is just right. They are made a a material with a little stretch and allow free movement. Their front pockets are as roomy as they could be in a pair of running shorts. There is a zipped pocket on the right side big enough for car keys and a few run gels, gummies or waffle. The waistband is very comfortable with a flat draw string.

These are fantastic! I ’ ve been a runner for over 12 years and have few shorts that I would write reviews about. The multi layer design, is light like a speed short but prevents things from getting too “ cheeky ” when you start running in the wind. Like other reviews, one size down is perfect. My sisters also loved them, sizes XXS, XS, and S. We are usually XS( 110lbs), S( 130lbs), and M( 150lb) for reference.

[ These are great athletic shorts! These are size small and fit me really well. I ’ m pretty scrawny, right now but if I weighed a little bit more, I would probably go up to a medium. They do come with an interior draw string to tighten up the waist if need be. There a handy zipper pocket in the back with is my favorite feature! It ’s perfect for a couple of small essentials. My family remarked that they looked great on me. They were so comfortable that I now wear them for other occasions and not just exercise. The design is attractive and the shorts are high quality material. I love that there is a pocket on both sides. I can keep my phone in one pocket and my keys in the other one. There is also a zip pocket on the back waistband. The zipper is not noticeable. Once you put these on you will not want to take them off. They will look great and be very comfortable. I love these ones specifically because they ’ re form fitting and flattering( they hide the mom pouch!) and they ’ re very comfortable. They ’ re size accurate and come down to a nice length for biker shorts, they ’ re not too short and seem appropriate for most situations especially during the summer since there ’s no pattern/giant logo so you could easily dress them up with a longer dressier shirt or pair with any shirt to go work out. I bought the salmon pink color in S. It's very eye- catching and bold and probably you should to pair it with a white or gray top. I love the pockets with zippers, which make this product similar to much more expensive branded shorts. I have not washed them yet; let's see how they last this summer. Warning that the shorts are true to size. The S is ideal for at most a 30- 31 '' waist. It would probably be best on a 29 '' I 'd say. The inseam of 7 '' is just right since the 5 '' version from VRST is kind of like underwear in my opinion.

Shorts are very comfortable. I wear them when I run, and thus far they have held up nicely for several 4- 6 mile runs. As the weather warms I will definitely try them on longer outings. They do not ride up and the interior lining has not created hot spots. The pocket size if extremely convenient for carrying needed items on the run. They compare extremely well with the name brand shorts I have come to rely on for running, and I will definitely look for more of these VRST 7 '' shorts. I don ’ t really like to buy clothing with tight elastic bands on the waist and prefer a little bit longer in length. But it ’ d be ok for a short workout. I like the fabric. The shorts fit like a glove and with the Dri- Fit design, I am able to workout comfortably. What I like most is the texture and feel of the shorts while exercising. I would not change anything about them, just personally would have the shorts but an inch or two longer because shorter workout shorts tend to roll up on my thighs when exercising.
