Runs a little small for a change? Sometimes these Winterized/Repel long- sleeve running tops run a size too big, like they ’ re weren ’ t sure if they intended them to be worn as a first or second layer. I ’ m between Men ’s S/M. Small in the DFADV Stride tops because they ’ re huge. This one fits like a first layer, but has juuuuuust enough space if you wanted to wear a single layer under it. Only gripe is that the collar sits a little wonky, unless you have it zipped all the way up.

I LOVE the Calia Women ’s Cold Dash 1/4 Zip. I got the black in the medium size. I normally wear a small but the description said it is fitted, which it is, and I didn ’ t want a tight fit. This fits me exactly the way I want it too. It is nicely tailored but not skin tight. I am 5 ’ 6 ” and about 128 pounds. Previously, my favorite athletic 1/4 zip jacket was a black one with a back pocket that holds my phone. I had looked everywhere, unsuccessfully, for another until now. This jacket has a very nicely placed pocket in the back that holds my phone very comfortably during my daily morning 2 to 3 mile walks. The jacket also has reflecting lines on the back that serve their purpose when needed but still look fashionable at all times. One more thing worth mentioning is the nice long sleeves with the thumb hole…. perfect for cooler mornings when I may choose to use them. The sleeves are plenty long for my long arms. This is my new favorite jacket and will get tons of wear.

[ This trainer is SO soft! I ca n't get over how the inside of it feels like a yummy fleece but without the weight of a fleece jacket. In other words, I live in South Florida where it rarely gets chilly, but this is a great material for a cool morning walk or if you like keeping the AC low indoors! I am typically a size 18 on top and the XXL fits just right, so I would say this runs on the smaller side if you 're looking for a looser fit. The gray color is mild and matches well with various colors. All around, a great top that you can wear to lounge or for an activity.

[ I love my Nike Therma fit one top. It ’s sleek and sporty and super comfy. The fabric has tons of stretch for comfort and ease during a workout, but is a good thickness( not as thick as a fleece and not as thin as leggings) and matte and therefore very flattering. I had it on during one of those Fall days where you think “ it ’s probably 65 out ” but it ’s really 50 degrees. And I was plenty warm. I like the length of the top- it sits just below the hip. I am 5 ’ 7 ” and a size 8 in clothes and the medium is perfect with a tank top underneath. I love the soft gray color and subtle swoosh on the side( I usually don ’ t go for big logos!). The collar sits nicely upright with it unzipped. Only thing I noticed that I didn ’ t love is the small neck hole. If you have makeup on and a ponytail( and a big head like I do!) it ’s a snug squeeze and you ’ ll either smudge makeup on the inside of the shirt or you ’ ll mess up your hair if you don ’ t carefully pull it on. Otherwise- it ’s an awesome sleek top.

Like the feel of this LS tee. Can use it as a base layer or by itself on cooler days. I personally used it for an outdoor run and felt great. One thing though… while the fabric is intended to wick sweat out, I did notice the tee being soaked so not sure I ’ ll be taking it out for runs again. The length of the tee is also a little short so consider that if interested in this shirt.

I got this primarily for motorcycling in colder weather. It works great. I can wear this with my jacket and jacket liner and I do n't have to wear other layers. I 've only used it so far riding in 50 degree weather but it was warm enough I had to turn it down or off. I usually wear a large but wanted it to fit tighter so I got a medium. The medium fits great. I would say the medium fits me perfect where normally I would wear a large t- shirt or long sleeve. Not too tight but not loose. Have n't had long enough to know how long the battery would last but have used it for a couple hours switching between high and medium and still have battery left. Every time I want to put on something warm and reliably comfy, I reach for this top. I intend to buy one per year until I 've replaced every other base layer top I own. Very good quality, good feel to the fabric. I 'm fairly tall( 5'10 '') and the sleeves are long enough, and the body is long enough. So that's another thing.

[ For reference, I purchased a Medium. I ’ m 5 ’ 4 ”, 128 pounds, pear shaped, so, smaller on top, curvier on bottom. I got the black which is opaque. I wear this baselayer weight for cross country skiing when it ’s above 30 degrees or so. Smartwool varies in size for me, these are not extremely fitted like some of the 1/4 zips so go with your normal size.

I have been hiking, backpacking, and traveling with them and they have withstood the test of time. They are comfortable alone or as under layer. My favorite feature is the folding sleeve to create a mitten around your hands. The only downside is related more to a personal preference.
