I wear these over my compression base layer. They are perfect lightweight fabric that is extremely stretchy while not getting heavy once saturated with sweat. They dont restrict movement at all. I tried every high end pair of running shorts on the market and ended up with UA Tech Vents over UA compression shorts. I feel so strong in these it makes me want to get in the gym and run. This combination is especially helpful if you are still have some extra weight.

The knees do not even bag! My original reason for choosing this particular item was the cellphone pocket. This is a must for me.
