Work hours not compatible with gym memberships and ETHOS Rubber Hex Dumbbells were perfect compliment for home workout regimen. These are well constructed, tough, and versatile for both upper and Lower body workouts. Definitely not the cheapest solution, but well worth the extra$. I purchased 2 of the 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 lb weights and may eventually need add some higher weights. If you have space and are disciplined and motivated enough to use them, these are very useful and will last longer than me( and I plan to last a while).

[ I weight lift 4- 5 times a week, so I use these often. My only complaint is I find it a tad bit difficult to do suitcase squats with them because of them being a bit bulky and if I 'm wearing shorts, they scrape my legs so on those days I have to wear leggings or sweatpants. That said, the fact that they go up to 90lbs it's definitely worth it in my opinion. Now if only there was a compact hip thrust weight product for small apartments( hint, hint) or at the very least a weighted bar that goes up to 110 or more lbs. I wanted a set of high quality dumbbells for my home gym and I am not very price conscious as I plan to use these dumbbells for decades. I have never used hex dumbbells before but the Weider hex dumbbells are fantastic. They have high quality construction and grips, they have a nice and stable width for when you bring them together during exercises like dumbbell bench press, they look good even in nicer gyms, they don ’ t roll on the floor because of the hex shape, the rubber holds up, and the dumbbells don ’ t mark up my wood floor so long as I don ’ t drop them aggressively on the floor. What ’s not to like?? Highly recommend for anyone irrespective of price point.

I purchased the Bowflex SelectTech 2080 set this previous Thursday. I was originally looking for the fixed set of straight and curl bars, similar to the ones at the commercial gyms. When I came across the Bowflex SelectTech 2080 I knew this was the route to go for space- savings in my home gym! Prior to purchasing I had done some extensive research and was excited to make the purchase. I am 100% satisfied with the 2080 set and stand! I have used this in my workouts from Day 1 of receiving. Exercises include, skull crushers, bicep curls, shoulder press movements. I love the functionality and space- savings I am getting out of the 2080 set! As far as durability, I can see this product lasting for a long time. Granted, I am pretty easy on my equipment so no issues or concerns for reliability from the 2080 set. Another great aspect to this product is the styling! This set looks beautiful in my home gym setup! I ’ ve had multiple friends come join my workout this past weekend and say that looks nice! Great bar for the price. Solid welds and the knurling is aggressive which i love. It's a 45 lb bar and everything seems even and well constructed. The bar holds over 5 plates on each side and is n't bending. I 'm pretty sure it will hold 6 plates on each end depending on collar width. Hex deads are a great way to build muscle and this bar can handle the load. High and low grips are great for more options. Im glad i did n't spend 500 or some crazy price on a hex bar with more useless whistles.

This is a very durable, flexible, and elegant dumbbell set. You can adjust the weight by adding or subtracting weight plates, which means that one pair of dumbbells allows you to do many different exercises. Yes, it takes a minute to screw the collars on and off to change weights-- but you need to rest a minute between sets anyway. And you can screw the collars on snuggly so that the weight plates do n't rattle around like other quick- adjust dumbbell sets( and this set costs far less). Finally, the plastic case is a nice touch if you need to put the weights away when the grand kids come over for a play date.

I do n't leave many reviews but this product is worthy of some praise. I was looking for a pair of 10 lb weights to take with me while traveling. While looking at options at my local store, I spotted the Fitness Gear 40 Lb Adjustable Dumbbell Set. There was only one set on the floor, and it was sealed. I bought it without seeing the contents. This turned out to be a pleasant surprise! The components are nicely machined and painted or chromed, the set is versatile for a few weight combinations, and the carry case is a bonus. The collars go on the bars smoothly and easily. There are no sharp edges anywhere. This is a great set of adjustable dumbbell weights.

I almost did n't give this a try because some of the reviews said neoprene weights wo n't fit on the sides... glad I gave it a try anyways. I was able to fit my 10/12/15lbs neoprene weights on the side. The 10lbs just made it, 8lbs and lower wo n't fit at all. The 2lbs are a bit too short to fit properly on the crossbars but sit at an angle on it fine( I was n't surprised about that). Enough room to fit two more pairs of dumbells on the crossbars for a total of 10 pairs including the 2lbs. Easy to put together and fits nicely in my small workout area. I pushed it a round a little bit and it's a little wobbly but did n't seem like it would fall over. As mentioned in another review I would be still be careful/avoid small kids leaning on it.

Built very well. The supports all have holes like a rack. Possibly could be a landmine and battle rope attached. Maybe more. Top shelf is perfect for 5- 30 kettlebells. The shelves probably hold 5- 40 dumbbells. Only issue I have is with shipping. One of the dumbbell shelfs arrived with a dent in it. It ’s rights where the has to be tightened so I only have 3 of 4 bolts in. Customer service is supposed to be sending a replacement. Said it would take a month 6 weeks ago so IDK. I ’ m left to take a hammer to it but I shouldn ’ t have to. Yes I would recommend it to a friend if picked up in store and inspected before leaving.

Purchased new PowerBlock adjustable dumbbells( capable of expansion weights) and realized my old stand would not be large enough to fit the dumbbells if/when expansion weights are added, plus the old stand had no place to store the adder weights. This stand is built to accommodate both of those issues and works perfectly. Stand is extremely sturdy( no wiggle when I return dumbbells) and has enough room underneath to place other equipment. If I had to give one piece of critique, it would be that the adder weight holders could be just a bit deeper to more fully seat in the weights; even so, I ’ ve never had a real issue with functionality and never accidentally knocked an adder weight out of the stand. Functionality to price ratio is 100% worth it.

I 've had this stand for almost a year now. Very sturdy and have not had any problem storing my power blocks on it. I also like that there is room under the stand itself( I keep another set of dumbbells underneath). Note that I do not have the extra power block expansions( 70+ pounds), but there does appear to be plenty of room to accommodatee them, and the stand has never felt unstable in anyway with the base powerblock set.

I originally went to Dicks to purchase the Ethos 5 post weight plate holder but when I came across this new 6 post version I knew it would be perfect for my space. This plate tree is very well built. The solid yet compact design is a great space saver and it holds my bumper plates with ease. I currently have 460lbs loaded on this rack and it could easily hold more. The casters roll well even while loaded up with plates, and the ability to move the unit around your space is a nice feature that I didn ’ t originally think was a must have item for me, but now that I have it, I would never go back to a non- rollable rack. It is incredibly convenient. The packaging was decent, but could probably be improved upon. They do make use of styrofoam and foam sleeves, but the contents inside the package were able to shift around some. I found one or two very small scratches on the base of my rack which isn ’ t a big deal for me at all, but I do think the packaging is worth mentioning as it could possibly lead to potential damages during shipping for others. Installation is an absolute breeze. The rack does come with installation instructions, but this can easily be put together without any guidance. Only tools needed are a hex socket and a wrench and the entire rack can be assembled in about 5- 10 minutes. My entire garage gym has been designed around the ability to save space and double utilize the area efficiently. This rack by Ethos was the perfect solution to help me stay organized and minimize the footprint needed to store my weights. Highly recommended!

During the pandemic, I drove from Charlotte to Greenville/Spartanburg to buy some dumbbells. I saw an Ethos barbell on the floor in the store and decided to buy it as well. Great buy! This barbell got me through the pandemic doing CrossFit WODs on my garage. I drop it from overhead squats with no problem. I deadlift 385 and the bar is still straight. No rust. Still spins perfectly fine. I think at the time it only cost around$ 150. At$ 250, I honestly might just go to Fringe, given the difference in customer ratings. It's been great for me though.

Most dumbbells' weight sets include curl bars as part of the total poundage, but this vinyl weight set is fully 40 lbs of weights, which means to add the weights to your leg developer, straight bar, etc., you can count on 40 total pounds. The compact bar is really nice because you do n't have extra bar that's unnecessarily sticking out and for storage as well. The spring clip collars are easy to use. For a starter set of weights for a teenager--- this is a durable beginners set and can nicely accommodate the seasoned weightlifter as well.
