The Sun Runner Cap is an essential piece of gear for my long days of ecological field research in the hot, sunny, arid deserts of Utah. The lightweight and protective material has kept my neck and ears from burning. The fitted cap and chin cord keeps my hat in place in windy conditions. The versatile design has also been crucial in decreasing my exposure to dusty roads, plant materials, and other allergens throughout the day, as I 've been able to tie the cape to cover my nose. I may add Velcro to the cape to cover my nose more easily though. I definitely recommend this excellent product!

[ I bought this to work outside on hot days, and it works well for that. I have n't tried it on a super hot day yet, but suspect it could use a bit more breathability for those conditions. It provides full coverage from the sun and still gives you pretty good vision. I did n't buy it for looks, but I think it looks cool in kind of a dorky way. The sizing is a bit big, I 'm a 7 1/2 hat size and got a large, and have to cinch the strap down pretty much to get it to fit tight, which wrinkles it up a bit, but I tried a medium and it just was n't quite big enough. It is nice to have the adjustability, which you do with an easy pull strap. The colors are great and the price is fair.

[ Bought this for sun protection while walking and hiking. I live in AZ and the sun is brutal. But my challenge is finding a hat that has great ventilation as well to keep me from over heating. This hat hits all my requirements. I should probably also wear it playing golf but.... sorry... need to have a sun hat with more style for that sport. But for walking, running and hiking it is PERFECT

[ Got tired of putting sunscreen all over my ears and back of neck for walks/runs, and this has great sun coverage! It stays cool even on warm runs. Love the ponytail opening and adjustable tightness, but I do n't use the hanging drawcord. I probably should, because this catches in the wind and blows off a little more than regular baseball caps if it's not adjusted tight. My friends assure me it does n't even look quite as stupid as I was worried it would, but the goal is sun coverage, and for that it works great.

[ I have bought this hat for my children for years and everyone else I know has too! I just purchased a size M for my 4 year old. The tag says it is for 3- 6 year olds, just to give you an idea of the sizing. My just- turned 7 year old needed a size Large. Great for keeping off the sun!

[ I bought these last month for my kids and I and we wear them all the time. They are so easy to pack and we bring them along whenever we are going to be in the sun a lit. We wear also wear them while we swim in the pool or lake. I have a very small adult head so I fit in a large. I also got my 3 year old a large because he has a pretty big head. It is a bit big on him, but not too big that it is uncomfortable. He 'll be able to eat it for years to come. I got my 5 year old the other version in a medium as he had a small head like me and it works great for him. They are expensive but worth it!!
