I normally wear hats in the winter but wanted a headband so that I could keep my ears warm when I have my hair up. Black goes with everything and the logo is also in black so it's kind of discreet. If you did n't really want that sporty look. The sherpa fleece is super soft and extremely warm and I have a small head and this fits perfectly... I do n't necessarily think it would stretch an awful lot if you have a larger head, so I would keep that in mind if you 're considering purchasing this.

Great jacket, not thick and bulky but sturdy, ca n't wait to break it in. I 'm 5' 7 '' 130 lbs and ordered a small, was n't sure how it would fit since I would normally go for a medium in jackets, but saw this was loose fit and have heard Carhartt run large. The sleeves of the small were good but I was absolutely drowning in the rest of it so got an extra small, and it was a much better fit! When I tried it on with a sweatshirt underneath, the sleeves of the extra small were a touch tight when bending my elbows, but I think it will break in just fine. Great jacket, hope this can help folks with sizing. Did n't have any trouble with the zipper the way other people have described, it's a big metal double zipper and takes a little effort but nothing crazy.

I live in the interior of BC, Canada, where it ’s often brisk in the mornings and evenings. I ’ ve had this coat for a few weeks now and I love it. It ’s dreamily warm, looks fantastic and the pack down feature it really going to be great for travel. It has even performed perfectly on walks in temperatures well below freezing. I ’ m just over 5 ’ 6 ” and 150 lbs, athletic build and medium works well. It was slightly larger than what I thought it would be, as I am hoping to use it under a waterproof layer soon, but the small would likely have been too small.
