The 5 ” length is perfect for me as it ’s long enough to not ride up my thighs when I walk/workout. I am usually an XL in Nike bottoms and the XL size for these shorts fit perfectly. So far I have worn them for strength training, running, and walking indoors. I wore these for the first time on a 7 mile run today and I decided mid- run to order another pair as soon as I got home. These are my favorite new running leggings for warmer weather! I had gels and keys in the side pockets and phone in the back pocket and everything was super secure, the leggings did n't ride down or move during the run at all, which I find usually happens with a phone pocket. I wish I had these for the half marathon I ran last week! I love that I do n't need to wear a running belt with these since they hold so much. The leggings are super comfortable, flattering, and did n't need any stretch or wear- in period. I 've tried many pairs of cropped running leggings over the years and they either do n't have pockets, pockets are n't big enough, they ride down, the thigh band is too tight, etc.- these do n't have any of those issues!

I love the feel of the material and how they hug the skin without cutting off my circulation. I wear them during outdoor walks and in the gym. In both cases the pockets hold my phone, keys, earbuds, etc. I have fluctuated weight and at each stage I can still wear them comfortably. I have washed and put in the dryer but I would recommend for longevity to air dry only( or lay on top of a dryer). The shorts have a real quality feel to them and aren ’ t too short looking while wearing them out( which is usually an issue for me). They ’ re decently stretchy, I would suggest maybe sizing down if you ’ re on the more petite side- I know for me, I ordered the small and can live with the little bit of room in the waist, but I know that some prefer a shapewear like fit for these types of sets. [ Good shorts. My phone will fit in any of the pockets, although it digs a little weird if it's in a top pocket while riding. The shorts are a good length and do n't ride up. I like that the liner is removable and could be replaced with other liners. I am 5'- 8 '' and 173 lbs. I ordered a size 10 which is a bit snug but fits pretty well.
