I got this bag so I could just take one checked bag for my family ’s gear when we go on ski trips. I love the fact that it has wheels because, even though I love to look tough carrying 30 bags hanging off my neck and shoulders I ’ m just getting too old for that. The bag has a ton of space, in fact it is enough space to fit my whole families ski clothes plus our winter boots, freeing up space in our personal bags for our daily use items. I am not quite sure what voodoo Yeti is currently practicing, but all of their new bags and luggage are insanely well thought out, designed, and manufactured that I have yet to find one negative- aside from the zippers being a little stiff. I currently have 2 of their new Crossroad backpacks, their new 60L duffel, and 5 packing cubes. For years I have used a lot of the 5. 11 bags and suitcases. I would say that the Yeti quality and design is far superior- which I never thought I would say. In addition, this suitcase is insanely light- 8 or 9 pounds I believe. My 5. 11 suitcase of similar size weighs 25 pounds- which means I can now pack over 15 pounds more when traveling. Five stars for me all day long. Keep up the awesome design and over the top gear Yeti!

It pulls easily on “ roller skate ” wheels, has drink holders on the side, and has a plethora of pockets!!!!! This bag is incredibly sturdy and if you pack smart and pack light, you can take get weeks to months worth of travel out of this bag while not being an oversized bag( 36L). It keeps good form and structure. It's still relatively new product but so far it has been quite steady. Compression straps, ample space, shoe storage, front pocket, top pocket, laptop/tablet holder and a couple of mesh pockets inside. Side and top handles feel well built. I appreciate the load lifters. Overall, the bag is great. Granted I 've only used it once, it's shown to be spacious enough to hold well over 10- 14 days worth of clothes if you pack out right. [ I brought the Thule Chasm along for a cross- country road trip( Denver- Maryland- up to New York) and then used it as a carry- on for a flight to the Dominican Republic — and it fit everything I needed, keeping it dry and contained. The material is super sturdy and easily withstood being tossed around in and out of rental cars, overhead bins, and sandy hotel rooms. I also really like the calming color( easy to spot) and the handle design, which makes it comfortable to pull through airports or grab quickly out of a trunk. It ’s compact enough to fit in an overhead bin but still has plenty of space for both wedding attire and beach attire for a full week. One thing to note: it only has wheels on one side. While that means fewer things that can break, it makes adding luggage on top a little harder to navigate. The main zipper is durable and I like that its tucked under a flap, keeping everything weather resistant- especially nice when traveling in the tropics with frequent passing rain. This is probably the perfect carry- on suitcase. Simultaneously light and smooth- feeling and heavily featured. I think one thing people miss about this one: the storage options and pockets start to eliminate the need for other carrying cases( e. g., tech pouches, laptop sleeve) in a way that barebones carry- ons( e. g., Away) do n't. There are some hiccups. The strings for the drawbridge opening frequently get caught in the zippers and it's difficult to adjust them on the fly. There's also an impulse, given the perfectly fitted camera cube that fills almost the entire suitcase, to think you could pack a carry- on's worth of stuff PLUS all your camera gear. It's not magical, so you ca n't. One thing I 'd like to see from Peak Design in the future is fitted camera cubes that take up a smaller portion of the suitcase's space( e. g., 50%) so that you could maximize camera storage in the allotted area without trading nearly all of your storage for clothes, etc.

I bought this from the kickstarter campaign and immediately took it on a long trip through Europe. I 'm about 3 weeks into the trip so far and the bag is holding up great. It is pretty heavily loaded when we 're on the move full of laptops and camera equipment etc, but still manages to be useful and so far has n't had any failures. The main flap zippers can be a little tough to zip sometimes, but the wheels are very good and overall it's a great bag.

There are several points to note. First of all, it's so easy to handle and move around maybe because of handle and tyres. This really makes you feel comfortable traveling with this roller. Secondary, I like how the lid is designed as I do n't need to turn around the roller to open. You can adjust how widely the lid can be opened, so depending on how you want to use you can easily adjust the range to open the lid. Easily accessible small pokets both infornt and inside are also very useful.

I 've been excited about this roller bag for a while, as it addresses some of the issues I 've encountered with roller bags in the past- the handle taking up space inside, hard sides limiting capacity, and wheels being lackluster, among others. To be clear, I 'm not a roller bag person but rather a duffel pack kind of a guy. With that said, I also use a backpack so I 'm always interested in moving a duffel off of my back. I 'm a huge fan of Peak Design products so when they were releasing this I was excited to try it. I took this on a 7 day multi- city European trip with 3 airports, 3 hotels, trains, and car trips. It definitely addresses all of my concerns and surpassed by( no benefit of the doubt) expectations of a roller bag. Inside is well designed and functional for traveling and living out of a suitcase, especially if you use packing cubes. The construction and durability is top notch, with one critical flaw. When the bag is full, the zipper takes on a lot of stress at the point where it curves towards the bottom. For the casual traveler with a single destination, I think this will be a non- issue but for the road warrior optimizing capacity I 'd be concerned that zipper will fail at some point. Yes, it has a great warranty but the concern would be a failure on a journey. If the zipper was a larger gauge this would be less of a concern. I hope that I 'm proven wrong. Regardless, I think this is an amazing bag that I 'll actually use.

The texture and the sturdiness feels like it can sustain a lot during your travels for a long time. It feels lightweight at only 9lbs. Very comfortable to carry. Besides how lightweight it feels, the best part of this luggage is the many compartments it has inside. There ’s even one that can hold all your toiletries without making a mess of the rest of you luggage, especially if there are clothes near it. Inside it ’s very spacious. There ’s a lot of space for multiple items including a lot of clothes with a nice number of jeans, which to me takes a lot space in the luggage. I love that it has a hard shell on the backside of the bag so it can be laid down to pack easily. It also has fold out metal legs on the inside that help to support the bottom of the duffle bag so it will stand up on its own when it is packed. A secure garment strap on the inside will help keep those dress pants from being too wrinkled and multiple pockets for all the other items you need to bring with you. It even has expansion straps to help secure and support the bag. The handle glides smoothly up and down and the wheels are nice and heavy duty to withstand whatever obstacles you have to pass. Great product! We were looking for a large tote bag that could carry everything for a family of three. We love it, this bag stands on its own, has great space, a couple of small pockets for things like your phone, and a strap to keep it `` closed ''+ it looks gray and stylish. The only thing is that it does n't have a zipper or anything for a full close.

This bag is a hybrid backpack that opens like a suitcase. Took it on a recent vacation to PuertoRico. Was able to put a photo packing cube with camera and long lens in addition to some basic clothing, shoes etc. it was comfortable to wear and fit under the airplane seat. I ’ m 70 with a bad shoulder and hate asking for help to put things in the overhead. This was a great purchase.

I recently purchased the Allpa 42L and absolutely loved it! Everything about it was very solid, well- made and well thought out. The only two issues that I had with it was it seemed like the waist belt was a little bulky if you did not want to wear it and it was way bigger than I thought it was going to be! I ’ m sure that ’s a good thing, but I did have to return it so that I can get a smaller one because it was so big. If you are traveling and you ’ re looking for a super great well built well designed well thought out bag this is a must have! I think this may be one of the most functional bags I have seen in a long time for traveling, I was sad to have to send it back, but looking forward to getting the same thing in a little smaller size!
