Adding the GTS guide rails to the Addiction was a good move. This shoe is the perfect `` reset '' shoe for my feet. Very stable, not much rocking or rolling on footbed so the shoe is extremely restorative for my hips, ankles and knees. True, the Addiction GTS is not the running shoe that the Glycerin GTS or Adrenaline GTS are, but it is great for alternating to destress my joints. Great stability and slow movement shoe. Good for walking too.

[ I am a ghost 16 GTX convert! I run for fun and training for small 5K ’s. My wife has always loved running in Brooks shoes but I am new to Brooks! This shoe feels wider in the toe box than a Nike zoom pegasus. It has less cushion than a hoku style shoe, but I honestly love the cushion in this shoe. I notice the comfortable feel the most while running uphill or going up stairs. Even if you aren ’ t a major runner, the style and look of this shoe is perfect! You will want to wear this shoe to work, around town, out to dinner! I feel like this show also supports my ankles well. It has the support in all the right places.

[ The Ghost 16 gtx is one of the best pair of running shoes I 've ever owned. Super comfortable and nicely snug. They are extremely light and help me go the distance when running without having my feet feel ultra tired. I love that they are nitrogen filled and help with heel support and overall impact especially on rougher terrain. The design looks super stylish with black and gray and looks like very solid shoes. I got multiple compliments from friends and neighbors. The fabric is soft to the touch. The shoe laces are good length and tie/hold easily. Overall an excellent pair of shoes all around, fits true to size as I 'm a size 9 and do n't wear our quickly. Should last a few running seasons.

[ These shoes can do it all! I have run outside, run on the treadmill and worn to work. These shoes did great in all situations and are super comfortable. They also look great! They feel very supportive and well- made. I walk a lot at work and these feel built to last!

[ The quest for the perfect fit shoe is real. The Ghost 16 Gtx offers a comfortable, stylish design that hugs your feet with just the right amount of support. Its versatility makes it perfect for both running and casual wear. As someone who spends a lot of time on their feet, I can attest to the comfort these shoes provide. I highly recommend them to runners and those seeking comfortable shoes for daily wear.

[ This could be Brooks best road shoe. They feel great and look sharp. I ’ m not sure if they are called ghost because of the weight, but when I ’ m wearing these shoes I feel like I ’ m floating. They are light and flexible. I also love the monochromatic palate. I feel like they run a half size small. I took out the insole and use zero cushion socks which makes the fit much better. Overall these are wonderful shoes that seem to handle all the steps I throw at it. I am very happy I have them.

[ I recently tried the Catamount 4 Tail Shoe. I run mainly on gravel/dirt roads and paths so a trail shoe is a must! These felt a little tight in the uppers for the 1st couple of runs then I fell in love with them and they have been my go to ever since! I usually purchase a size 10 1/2 to an 11 in women ’s and I do prefer a tighter fit. A men ’s 8 1/2 have worked well for me. I have an average width foot and the toe box fit is great. I ’ m 30+ miles in and these have kept me sure footed and the cushion has kept me from any stone bruises! I look forward to many more miles in these! The colors have just been a fun bonus, as the darker teal hasn ’ t gotten dirty looking.

BrooksRunningShoes
[ I had not worn Brooks running shoes before so this was my introduction. I 've been a runner for over 40 years and ran many races- 5K, 10K, 10 Miler, 1/2, and Full Marathons. Now I 'm out there to only compete with myself. These shoes felt really good right away! Lots of cushioning( which I like) and support. I do n't choose running shoes based on how they look but these are nice- looking shoes. It took me a run or two to get used to the difference between my other shoes but now they feel so comfortable. My time has improved a bit also. I need a wide- toe box and these were perfect. I have only run in them in cold weather so I 'm not sure about how they function in the heat. I also only ran on paved roads. PROS: Good support, Plenty of room in the toe box, Plenty of cushioning, lighter than expected, Very comfortable CONS: The tongue is flimsy so you have to hold onto it to put the shoe on. That would not be a deal- breaker for me though.

[ After running several miles I can say these are amongst my favorite shoes for trail running. The soles are thick with good cushion with each step. The laces secure tight to my foot with zero sliding around. I have one other pair I currently run in and plan on using these in my rotation going forward. I ’ m also a huge fan of the aesthetic, in fact they ’ re probably my favorite running shoe in terms of appearance and colorway. If I was to purchase another pair, however, I would order a half size up as the toe box is slightly more narrow and my big toe rubs slightly. One major thing to know is there is not a lot of arch support which would make them less ideal if you have a flatter foot. The shoes work well for me and I ’ d happily purchase them again when it ’s time for a new pair.

[ I typically wear a size 10 or 10. 5 depending on the brand. The size 10 Catamount 4, fit snuggly and kept my heel locked in place, while still allowing for plenty of wiggle room in the toes. Took these out of the box and went on a quick 8 mile run the first day( paved road) and another 7 miles the following day( paved& some loose gravel). The shoes feel lighter on my feet than I expected, very responsive, and provide a ton of cushioning for the heel. The fabric is lightweight& breathable, which kept my feet from overheating towards the end of runs. It ’s been very dry and warm lately; so, I wasn ’ t able to test how they hold up in inclement weather. The traction is great on loose gravel and paved roads alike. I ’ m a big fan of the color scheme though I know bright colors aren ’ t for everyone. My only complaint is the tongue feels a bit thin and has a tendency to get bunched up when you are putting on the shoes. This isn ’ t a sticking point in the slightest because if you hold onto the tongue while sliding feet into shoes, it ’s no longer a problem. Overall I ’ m extremely satisfied with these shoes and quickly becoming my new go- to.

[ The Brooks Catamount 4 are some of the most comfortable running shoes I ’ ve worn. The fabric is sturdy yet breathable and while I do wish they were available in more color options the current design is quite sleek. I was shocked when I first put them on by how light they felt on my feet. I ’ ve run in them multiple times now and am pleased to share that my knees and back do not ache after a long run when I wear these shoes. They provide wonderful support and protection, making running more enjoyable and allowing me to train harder.

[ Not only is this a high performing shoe, but it also looks fantastic! The colors are perfect. The material is the high quality expected from Brooks. The first thing I noticed was how incredibly lightweight this shoe was, especially for a trail shoe. The fit was almost perfect. It was a little tight around the mid foot at first but it felt much better as I progressed through the first run. The lug depth handles wet and muddy trails with ease. My favorite part of this shoe was the cushioning. I have always worn softer shoes and the Catamount 3 is the best I ’ ve ever worn. They have a smooth ride with a considerable amount of energy return which leaves my legs feeling great after every run. These shoes will definitely be a staple for me moving forward!

[ The Catamount 3 are hands down the best pair of running shoes I 've ever owned. From the instant I took them out of the box, I could tell how well designed they were. These shoes are incredibly light- I genuinely felt a boost in my running speed compared to other pairs. The sizing is spot- on in both length and width and the sleek design adds a stylish touch. These shoes also have deep treads which makes them perfect for training in all types of conditions. I 've used them for both short 3- mile runs on city streets as well as for general cross- training in the gym. They were perfect for both scenarios and have become my go to training shoes. The only drawback is that they are not water resistant. I had stepped in a shallow puddle and despite my foot not being fully submerged, water still seeped in. That said, they also performed well on the slippery roads due to their deep treads. So just watch your step!

[ The Catamount 3 is my new go to shoes. I started training for trail running last fall. The weather changed a lot and its very cold, icy and there is snow everywhere. Not a great time to train outdoors but these shoes are also perfect for indoor cross- training. I love these shoes for various reasons:- they are light and with just enough cushioning to feel comfortable and stable- responsive- have a good grip on terrain, both uphill and downhill which is great to get some speed- are very comfortable. I did not get any soreness after the first use- esthetics are nice. They are edgy, modern and unique.- fabric and materials used are of very high quality, as expected Downside: I started picking these shoes everytime. I highly recommend. They seem like they will last for a long time. P. S. I get asked often what brand and model they are while training.

[ I was somewhat skeptical of the color at first, but this shoe has definitely set a new standard for me! They feel great on my feet. They support your feet snugly while remaining ultra comfortable! The textured laces keep the shoes snug. I ’ ve been wearing this shoe for every day activities as well. A great shoe at the gym as well as a day spent walking around the mall. These shoes have kept my feet comfortable during a 9 hour shift at work, and then coming home and chasing two young children around the house.

When selecting men's support running shoes, consider features such as cushioning, arch support, and stability. Look for shoes that provide a snug fit and have materials that enhance breathability. Additionally, consider the outsole design for traction and durability, especially if you plan to run on various terrains.
To find the right size for men's support running shoes, it's essential to measure your feet accurately, ideally at the end of the day when they are most swollen. Try on shoes with the socks you plan to wear while running, and ensure there is enough space in the toe box. A good fit should feel secure without being too tight, allowing for natural foot movement.
Support running shoes are ideal for various activities, including road running, trail running, and long-distance training. They are particularly beneficial for runners who overpronate or need extra stability during their runs. Whether you're training for a marathon or enjoying casual jogs, these shoes can enhance comfort and performance.
Men's support running shoes are typically made from a combination of synthetic materials, mesh, and foam. The mesh upper allows for breathability, while foam midsoles provide cushioning and support. Additionally, rubber outsoles are often used for durability and traction, ensuring a good grip on various surfaces.
If you experience discomfort or pain during or after running, particularly in your arches or ankles, you may benefit from support running shoes. Additionally, if you notice that your shoes wear unevenly or if you have a history of overpronation, these shoes can help provide the necessary stability and alignment. A visit to a specialty running store for a gait analysis can also help determine your needs.
Support running shoes are primarily designed for runners with specific foot types, particularly those who overpronate. However, they can also benefit individuals with neutral arches seeking extra cushioning and stability. It's essential to assess your foot type and running style to ensure you choose a shoe that meets your individual needs.
