I love to use them on heavy weight leg days because they provide great stability making me feel more grounded and stable. They are awesome for short runs. I would say up to about 3 miles. I tend to have a problem with some running shoes because the toe box usually runs narrow but these have just the right amount of space. Because their use is so diverse, they are exceptional for my metabolic conditioning. These shoes would also be great for every day use but I like to keep my training shoes strictly for training. But, I might just get a second pair for casual wear!

I do n't use them every day because my toenails are red and hurt by the end of the day. However, they are super comfortable otherwise, and I love that my feet are n't sweating at the end of the day. My favorite Nikes I ’ ve worn were the finger trap with the air/bubble/air max, whatever they were called, no longer made so I decided to try these. Great gym/workout shoe. Super stable for lifting or cardio. I typically prefer zoom in the forefoot but these are awesome. I had been using my pegasus 39's and they were n't holding up well to my lifting routine, obviously since they are a running shoe. So these give me great stability, super comfort, and they feel like they can withstand the rigors of squats/leg press etc. I also felt great on the treadmill, actually better than I did in my pegasus because of the flatness of the sole. I typically lift hard then do cardio. My cardio felt even more stable in these because of the support, cushioning, and once again the stability they provide. I wear a 9. 5 in my pegasus and most other Nike products, these seem slightly( and I mean barely) bigger than normal. I would maybe try a 9 next time, maybe. But I still think they are awesome for my needs.

The mesh version of the SlipSpeed shoe is fantastic. I do notice myself tripping over my own feet at times, but I do not think that is from the shoe. I highly recommend the SlipSpeeds!

That strap gives the shoe a much more snug feel. I like it because the shoe feels more supportive for my arches and ankles. But that strap also makes the shoe less forgiving. The strap is on top of the tongue, so you ca n't move the tongue as much when you 're putting the shoe one. I think the shoe fits just right, but if you like shoes to fit a little looser, you might consider going up half a size.

The toebox has plenty of room while the shoe itself stays on my foot well. I do CrossFit and so far I have done powerlifting and box jumps in these shoes. They feel very solid and supportive while allowing my feet to have movement.

I use these strickly for the gym( weightlifting). They are great for the gym and thats what they are made for. I like the spacious toe box and the firm platform.. The plastic structure that runs around the back of the foot keeps the foot stable when lifting. To be honest I would not have paid the suggested price for these or any over priced sneaker for that matter. These were 1/2 priced because the x4 are out and these are more than fine for me.
