I wanted a dumbbell rack that would be adequate enough to get my weights off the floor and help make my exercise room at home look tidy and organized. This little rack was just the trick to accomplish that task! It's sturdy enough for someone like me who is careful in taking the weights on and off as they are needed. However, I would n't necessarily recommend or trust its sturdiness if you have smaller children or pets roaming around who might bump into it. The only negative I found was that while my metal dumbbells fit great, my plastic ones do not fit and was forced to use the upper and lower shelves for them. Bottom line: Not a bad deal for the price and my personal usage. If you need more heavy duty, you will have to pay the price!

I did n't have a lot of room, however, I have numerous cast iron dumbbells. This product addresses my needs in this regard, completely. It's sturdy, was n't excessively priced and looks very professional. For the lowest level shelf, I have( 2) 55's,( 1) 50 and( 2) 45's; midlevel is( 2) 40's,( 2) 35's and( 2) 15's; top shelf( 2) 30's,( 2) 25's and( 2) 20's for a total of 580lbs. No weight capacity was listed on any of the literature that came with the rack, but, the current load does n't seem to be a problem. It could probably handle more. The product was delivered without any damage. If you need more capacity, purchasing( 2) of these racks would take up less space than some of the larger racks. If you have a lot of dumbbells that clutter your workout area, it's tough to go wrong with buying this rack. I have high expectations related to my purchases and I could n't be happier.

I assembled it with ease and loaded my dumbells on and was thoroughly impressed with the durability of this rack. I went into the store and the Dick's associate assisted me purchasing it online while in the store. However when I was trying to purchase the product online there was a 40% discount in progress. Most dumbbells' weight sets include curl bars as part of the total poundage, but this vinyl weight set is fully 40 lbs of weights, which means to add the weights to your leg developer, straight bar, etc., you can count on 40 total pounds. Changing weight is done with a smooth, easy click, and, unlike other options I looked into, they maintain a normal configuration and distribution throughout weight options that still feel like normal dumbells. [ Adjustable weight set is very versatile; each dumbbell replaces 14 standard individual dumbbells while taking up the space of one dumbbell and placing substantially less stress on the floor( compared to a set of 14 individual dumbbells). Rubber insert on the contoured handle makes gripping them much more comfortable that standard all- metal dumbbell grips, especially at heavier weight settings. Changing weight settings just takes seconds, allowing me to quickly change weights in the middle of a workout video without having to pause the video. Although somewhat expensive, I would recommend purchasing the associated metal stand; it fits perfectly with the pair of dumbbell trays and keeps everything at a comfortable height( especially nice when working with heavier weight settings). Would definitely recommend this for a home gym.

We bought this for our little home gym. After looking at several models online and in stores, I bought another rack through another online retailer. The thing was damaged in shipping and missing one of the uprights. Needless to say I returned it and found this Powerline rack online at Dick's. This rack has the proper spacing between the horizontal angles so that my old style steel plate dumbbells do not fall off the front. Most of the ones I looked at in stores had that problem. I was n't going to buy new weights just to get a rack. This rack is super sturdy, like what you find in sport clubs but it is small enough that it does n't dominate our small apartment. I will hold 4 dumbells with the 5- lb small hole plates on each shelf. If you put 10- lb plates, you 'll probably only get 3. It feels as if it will hold any of that weight combination. Real easy to assemble and well designed. It has threaded holes through the cross angles with locknuts. Even has a little bottle of touch up paint.

When I first started looking for adjustable dumbbells I decided to go with Bowflex. I called and asked them what they have and they were all out of the Bowflex but they had Ethos. I talked to the rep a bit about them. I went down there and bought the Ethos and I ’ ve never looked back. I love the way they look and the way they work. I can do everything with them no gym needed. In a few weeks my arms went from 13 to 17 inches. Ethos has helped me to lose over 40lbs along side my cardio. Putting the weights back can be a little clunky and not smooth but I ’ m a Man so I can handle it lol. In all seriousness once you get the hang of it they are super easy to put back. Built very well. The supports all have holes like a rack. Possibly could be a landmine and battle rope attached. Maybe more. Top shelf is perfect for 5- 30 kettlebells. The shelves probably hold 5- 40 dumbbells. Only issue I have is with shipping. One of the dumbbell shelfs arrived with a dent in it. It ’s rights where the has to be tightened so I only have 3 of 4 bolts in. Customer service is supposed to be sending a replacement. Said it would take a month 6 weeks ago so IDK. I ’ m left to take a hammer to it but I shouldn ’ t have to. Yes I would recommend it to a friend if picked up in store and inspected before leaving.
