Well, since the install, the weather has not been kind to us. So, haven ’ t had the opportunity to us it. However, this is a great companion to my 93SV mounted in the console. I have not connected the data cables together and not sure if I will, my type of fishing, a few times a week don ’ t need it. Plus with Active Captain if I need to share I ’ ll go that route.

The only disappointment is that if Garmin went as far as putting GPS Seaton the unit then why not add mapping…. This would make this a perfect low cost unit for the average weekend fisherman/woman. I have removed this unit after 2 trips out and replaced it with the UHD Echo Map.
