I have bought from several different companies and realized I should try some before buying more. I am stocking up for emergencies/ Hurricanes. One brands protein pack is vegan. Lentils and beans. The taste was good but you have to boil for 25 minutes. That takes a lot of propane if your power is out. Your chicken and rice has a lot of chicken and a large portion. You only add boiling water to the pouch wait 10 minutes and it's ready to eat. I did add a little extra seasoning. And great for my girlfriend that has nut allergy.

Just had this tonight. I used just a smidge under the recommended amount of water as I ’ ve noticed after rehydration other products tend to be a bit soupy. This resolved the issue. Recommend water is 13 ounces, I used 12. Product is tasty and contains just the right amount of rice/veggies to chicken ratio. It ’s a little bit on the salty side, but I highly recommend!

When I bought several food pouches it was all based on the great reviews. I bought these for camping, storms& emergency situations. I decided to try the Spaghetti& Meat Sauce, followed exact directions, wrapped towel around pouch& let sit for 16 min& much to my surprise I was amazed at how good this actually tasted! I never had freeze dried food& this was pretty good. For being a newbie on this product I highly recommend MH for your food!

Tastes great! Better than any canned spaghetti. I 've always thought these freeze dried meals want you to add too much water. I added just under 400ml of hot water from my kettle and it was perfect. The wait was n't very long either so win- win.

[ The Pad Thai was delicious. It was a little spicy but not as spicy hot as I would eat in a restaurant. It ’s not overly salty like some backpacking meals. It took about 15 minutes to “ cook ” but was definitely worth the wait!

[ In Oz we get a poor, overpriced range of dehydrated camping food. I picked this up while camping in the US recently and mate, it is great! Spicy, tasty, filling, and even with exchange rates factored in about half the price we would normally pay for second rate crud from NZ. I had the Bibimbap for dinner on a recent backpacking trip. It was delicious but it was seriously spicy. If you go to a Thai restaurant, they usually ask you 1- 5 stars for spiciness. I 'd say this was a 4.( Yes, I know Bibimbap is Korean) There was some serious heat, almost overwhelming all the other flavors. Texture was great from the rice and all the veggies. There were good flavors but a lot of it was overwhelmed by the spice. If you like spicy foods, it's a high recommend. For most other people, I 'd say it's too much spice, which is why I am rating it four stars.

[ I love all of Good To- Go's meals!( The Thai curry is my current favorite.) They are delicious, filling, and satisfying after a long day of hiking. They are all dehydrated, so a little on the heavy side depending on how long you are packing for. The packaging is durable; we never experienced any break- throughs, holes, or leaks. And the company's co- owner and chef, Jen, recently become HACCP certified, so be on the lookout for options with meat in them coming soon! The classic marinara with penne has really great flavor, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the pasta held up. Being gluten- free, I thought that the brown rice penne would fall apart, but it held together fairly well and still had bite/texture to it.

[ Definitely durable and runs quietly, especially for the long time it ’s needed to be on to dehydrate whatever you want to make. I attempted to make beef jerky but I ’ m sad to say I over- seasoned it a bit so I won ’ t post it, but practice makes perfect. It ’s super easy to adjust the temperature level and adjust it to get that just right cook and tenderness you want. Cleaning it after is pretty simple and there ’s a lot of space in there so you don ’ t need to worry about nooks and crannies. Overall I ’ m satisfied with this and I hope to build my beef jerky empire soon!
