The good part first. I originally bought this for bass fishing, but I caught different species with it( Bluegills, Crappie, Small- mouths, Large- mouths). I do n't understand the idea behind how it simply attracts fishes, but they will definitely bite this lure if they 're enticed by looking at it long enough. And this lure comes in the best color( chartreuse) for fishing, which is a plus. Now to the Cons. While I knew that this spinner was going to sink, I was however shocked at how it swam. As it gets reeled back in, it quickly rises to the surface. Unlike other spinners that stays under the water no what speed, if this lure gets reeled in too fast then it will surface. I thought this was unusual since it's a weighted spinner and it should have stayed underwater the entire time. Overall conclusion: It's a great lure, whether if you 're a beginner or if you want to catch many fishes or if you 're just interested into buying a cheaper lure. This is my first Blue Fox lure and I 'm glad that I made this purchase.

This lure works great. When the sun gets low, and the fish stop hitting worms, try this spinner bait! It will work until it gets dark! Just cast and retrieve. I have been fishing for as long as I can remember, and I have been using this lure for the last few years, and let me tell you that theres a reason for that. This lure yes is small, but I have caught monster bass and pickeral on these bad boys and none of them have ever broke. After almost 50 years of fishing in PA, VA and DE, still my favorite trout and panfish lure. I 've used different colors but yellow body with a silver blade and black with a gold blade( 1/8 th oz) seem to work the best for me in creeks and ponds. I tie a tiny barrel swivel with a clip directly on to my line( 10 lbs. braid) and attach the lure to the clip. Simple lure, casts and retrieves well, good construction. Explosive hits. Fun to use.
