I ordered this on the advise of a friend who swears by it. As it is still March here in northern Ohio it is still very cold and the walleye are just starting their run, I have n't been able to use it yet. I ’ m a St croix guy and this rod is TOUGH! The mojo series is light weight and durable. Very sensitive and comfortable to hold. The 7 ” medium is a great rod for plastics and wacky rigs. A great all purpose rod in my opinion. The split grip helps with casting while keeping it short and low profile for kayak guys.( I like it for the weight reduction). 10/10 rod. Will continue to add more mojo to my collection.

Fished for lingcod and rockfish near the Farallon Islands outside the Golden Gate Bridge. Caught my limits of lingcod to 16# easily. Great rod.

I bought this rod as a loaner for my boat and paired it up with a old Avet SX6 reel. I already had a friend use it as a down rod for Spadefish and he loved it. He also used it for jigging for flounder and commented on how light and sensitive the rod was.
