This grill was gifted to my mom many years ago. We use this as her grill for the house. It ’s easy to roll out of the way and store in garage. This grill has fed many family gatherings of over 20 people. The grill is so well used that the handles are now melted off and one of the grill plates are cracked and broken off. My mom continues to use it. For Christmas I decided to buy her a new one. She was elated! She has been looking in stores for a new one for awhile now. Best Christmas gift she received!

The grill is just the right size when cooking for two. I like the two burners. What ’s different is the need for water to use the grill. I didn ’ t experience any flare ups while cooking, however getting rid of the water is a pain when you ’ re at a campground since it has grease in it.

[ This is an excellent grill for camping. It is small enough to be portable but large enough for cooking a lot of food at once. It heats up fast and the heat is easy to control. There are two separate burners. The inside grate is in two pieces and we got the pan accessory so we can be grilling on one side and heating stuff in a pan on the other side. The drip pan is great. You just put water in it and any grease drips right in the water making it so easy to clean up. The regulator is easy to attach and simple so it would be really hard to strip it accidentally. Overall, the best grill we have had and we 've been camping for a long time.

I use the 3 burner stove for both church and camping for large groups. Why does not Camp Chief have a 16 '' version Grill Box for 3 burners. My only option is to use the 14 '' two burner version on my 16 '' 3 burner unit.

I have owned the deluxe grill box for 4 years. It is great. It is perfect for searing steaks. Side note if throw some wood pellets under the grates, you can get some great smoke flavor.

Great add on for my Camp Chef 3 burner. This is the second one I have purchased as I wore out the old one. I purchase the one burner griddle to go along with it. I have had my other one for more than ten years and love it for grilling. The addition of the griddle will make it more complete cooking system for BBQs and Camping.

I 'm pretty happy with this stove. It fits nicely inside my kettle, works well for larger pans( even up to 8 inches), and get's nice and hot. I paired it with stabilizer legs as with the large canisters it can get quite tall. The one downside is having to bring a separate igniter.

Pro 14 two burner cooktop Went to our inaugural Halloween bike ride and one of the guys pulled out a older version of the Pro 14 two burner cooktop and griddle. I could n't believe how easily it setup, cleaned up and made a ton of food for every that came that day. It worked so well that my wife and I ordered one immediately to use on our own trips, gatherings and just some Sunday morning cookout fun. We also purchased the two burner griddle and griddle carrying bags for both the stove and griddle, so nice to keep everything neat and sorted. I 've only used it a couple of times so far but one thing i really noticed was how nice the burner control is, you can turn it down all the way and not worry about the burner flaming out. My only complaint which is minor is that the flip out red lid covers do n't sit completely flat like my friends did. Perhaps they will wear in with a bit more use.

Since we bought this for memorial day and didn ’ t get a chance to use it all summer I was starting to have buyers remorse. But after using it one long weekend I ’ m in love. We bought the griddle and the grill accessories. One of my favorite things is that which ever one I ’ m not using acts is a warmer as I continue cooking other food. I literally planned an entire three day weekend of cooking around my new camp chef cooking system even though we have a camper with a stove and oven. I wasn ’ t sure I needed the pro with the flip out shelves but now I can ’ t imagine not having them. Worth every penny.

Great Stove. I own three total, but this one is our elk camp stove. We use it 3 weeks per year and it's buried in a stash on our property the rest of the year. We also have the two burner and three burner griddle that have lasted since our very first three burner stove over 20 years ago.

I have to agree with the majority of the people that have rated this stove anyone else was rated at less than five stars absolutely has no clue what they 're doing. I have wiped mine down repeatedly with all kinds of cleaners etc the finish on this product is second to none it's well applied powder coat and it is solid and I mean solid is not cheap tinsy little metal like some of these old camp kitchens. I especially love the burners cooking in the wind they 've held up beautifully I 'm able to boil water at no time at all and the heat that's produced by those burners is fantastic it's the last stove I think I 'll ever buy I 've got a trailer and I 've got a Jeep and it's going in both of them!

I purchased the Everest 2X based on feedback from other trip leaders in my non profit group. This stove works great for fast cooking for a group and our organization is using these stoves to replace Coleman stoves. The stove goes through propane faster than Coleman stoves however so bring plenty of fuel if cooking for a group in the field. Stove is easy to set up, light and sturdy in windy conditions. So far it is everything I could want in a camp stove, looking forward to using it on upcoming trips.

I 've been using my BBQ grill box with my Explorer for 10+ years. It has been used as an every- day grill, camping grill, party grill, baseball tournament grill, etc... very heavy usage. Zero issues. I estimate that I have prepared over 300 meals with it. The grill box has now worn out( the grate plate below the cooking surface finally rusted and broke through and is coming apart). Our family has several stoves ranging in size for backpacking and kayaking to car camping to portable cooking for large crowds. This single burner is great by itself or in combo with a two burner or another single burner for weekend camping. You save the room on your picnic table and the power of this stove boils water in a jiffy for coffee and cooks up breakfast for six in a jiffy using the single burner griddle( sold separately) on medium low heat. We very rarely use our table top stoves anymore- the quality at 30k BTU output more than makes up for the added bulk if you have room. Get yourself a two burner with griddle and bbq box and save this one for pans and coffee making on an open flame so you do n't have to swap out accessories. You 'll be able to cook for the entire camp! We have a dedicated 5lb tank for this and it will last a week with regular cooking. I do n't give out five stars easily- this unit earns every single one.

In my opinion this is the best Coleman Stove. The clicking igniter is more durable than the push button type and it does n't move the whole stove when trying to lite- up. The wind deflectors are simple and perform as advertised, the grate is durable and provides adequate support. I expect to have 50 year life with this stove in which it will outlast me. I have been using Coleman camping products since 1963 and this retro stove is the one to buy.

This stove is great it heats well, is compact, and is easy to use. I do wish the grate had a clip or something so it did n't slide out of the well when it's time for storage, but that is minor. We have it in a Plano box we use as a mess kit so once it is in there it's pretty secure. The only suggestion would be to put the knobs for the gas and the sparker on the same side. It's a little too wide with them on opposite sides to neatly store away. Otherwise I think this will be a great addition to our camp gear. We had no issues with the flame flickering in the light breezes we encountered. It seems that as long as you 're not cooking in a head on wind it would do well. Cooled down quickly, and packed away neatly. Thank you Coleman for offering American made products that are well built.

Awesome. I use this on every backpacking trip. It is definitely big, but if you 're cooking for multiple people having the space is well worth it. I will use the cup to mix up food and stuff in( some people are more purists and only ever allow water in their jetboil) but using it to actually mix stuff up means you do n't have to pack extra pots and pans which is a big plus. And it is big enough to stick your fuel cans and stove and utensils, etc. inside. And having the measuring markers makes it even more useful too. Great workhorse.
5
Ian C
Great product, does exactly what it says on the tin. Used for a weekend trek.

The Jetboil Sumo is an excellent choice for backpackers and campers who prioritize speed, fuel efficiency, and convenience when cooking for small groups. While it ’s bulkier than Jetboil ’s smaller models, its large capacity and reliable performance make it worth considering for those who need to cook more than just a solo meal. If your primary need is boiling water for dehydrated meals, coffee, or tea, the Sumo is a solid investment.

I purchased this item, with the french press attachment, to take on primitive camp outings with the boy scouts. This worked perfect for what I purchased it for, which was the ability to have hot coffee in the mornings. Also took it on day backpacking trips to have a hot lunch. This item would be good for any beginner looking for a stove/pot lightweight combo.

I bought two of these stash. Cook sets one for myself and one for my sister. My sister had experienced a really bad storm in DFW without power so I sent her one of these so she could make lentils and rice. It came in clutch! The second use case I have for it is… I feed my dog, the honest kitchen brand food, which is basically freeze dried human grade, but in powder form. You basically mix it up with hot water and make a nice thick porridge. I keep one in my truck so that I could quickly heat up or barely warm up the water to make a hot meal for my coco pup basically anywhere we are! Plug: i also own the 3 other JetBoils. The Genesis full system, micro mo and mini mo. Took the mini mo to Banff and made the Food- for- sole brand meals. It was amazing to have it take care of 6 people using it taking turns. We had our food and a gallon of water. Spent the entire day at lake lousie and kept everyone nourished. They all have a place in our camp setup.

[ I was so excited to get this! I have wanted one of these pizza ovens forever. My friend and been having pizza nights at his house using his oven and a metal pizza plate. He has been bragging so much about his pizza and I ’ m excited to show him up with my new pizza oven. Take that Andrew! I ’ m in the trial and error phase really working on getting my dough right but the first pizza I made was so delicious I didn ’ t even get to snap a photo before we devoured it! This will be a weekly treat for us! I have tried to use a pizza stone in the oven and it wasn ’ t even close! Don ’ t fool yourself that you can do the same in your own even.

[ Game changer for pizza lovers. This is so easy to set up right out the box. Just hook up the gas line and let it preheat and come to temperature for about 20 minutes. I admit it is a bit of a learning curve to get the perfect pizza but I think the more I use it the better it gets but even my first try was so much better than a lot of pizza I ’ ve tried from restaurants. It ’s a high quality oven and I ’ m sure will last for a long time.

I purchased. BB30 BBQ for my Pro 60 14 ” stove. After purchase I found that the BBQ would not close completely with the pizza stone inserted in the BBQ. The two tabs that secure the BBQ grate during transport provide an interference with the pizza stone. Without modification of the tabs, these two items are not compatible with one another. The modification was simple for me and I am now happy with my purchase, but not all buyers will have the ability to make them work together. Buyer beware. Camp Chef has been a part of my family for forty years- this is the first issue I have had with three stoves and many accessories.

[ Having used mixed fuel systems previously, this is my first canister system. Works great- very efficient boil. I was able to adjust the dial enough to simmer. My only criticism would be that it does not pack down as compact as I would prefer.
5
Dalen T
Using the minimo previously, I bought a second. It ’s nice looking, lightweight enough for backpacking, and big enough to hold entire meals. It heats up very quick, sometimes a tad too quick but that would just be my user error because it ’s just that darn effective, little jet engine that thing. My only gripes comes with the bowl which protects the heat sink which has cracked down the middle, and the sleeve which I wish was a little easier to dry or wick moisture. Otherwise a great system, wish it was cheaper to recommend it more often, and useful on short and long backpacking trips out to crags.

Tried and true, it's obvious why the whisperlite remains the top expedition stove. Although it's quite different than the canister stoves, it was very easy to learn and get used to.
