I read the review about people having issues with building it. You just need two wrenches( 9/16 or 15mm) to tighten the screw and bult together. Note do not tighten all the screws until the whole thing is assembled. I am able to use 25lb weights on

I do n't have a lot of room in my workout room, but I wanted to get all of my dumbbells off the floor. Dumbbell racks are expensive! I came across this one and the dimensions looked like it would fit in the room I have( and it was so much cheaper than all of the others), so I bought it! It is perfect! It holds all of my dumbbells! Here are the sizes I have: pairs of 25, 20, 15, 12, 10, 8, 7, 5, 4, 3. There is enough room for another set, too.

I wanted a dumbbell rack that would be adequate enough to get my weights off the floor and help make my exercise room at home look tidy and organized. This little rack was just the trick to accomplish that task! It's sturdy enough for someone like me who is careful in taking the weights on and off as they are needed. However, I would n't necessarily recommend or trust its sturdiness if you have smaller children or pets roaming around who might bump into it. The only negative I found was that while my metal dumbbells fit great, my plastic ones do not fit and was forced to use the upper and lower shelves for them. Bottom line: Not a bad deal for the price and my personal usage. If you need more heavy duty, you will have to pay the price!

I did n't have a lot of room, however, I have numerous cast iron dumbbells. This product addresses my needs in this regard, completely. It's sturdy, was n't excessively priced and looks very professional. For the lowest level shelf, I have( 2) 55's,( 1) 50 and( 2) 45's; midlevel is( 2) 40's,( 2) 35's and( 2) 15's; top shelf( 2) 30's,( 2) 25's and( 2) 20's for a total of 580lbs. No weight capacity was listed on any of the literature that came with the rack, but, the current load does n't seem to be a problem. It could probably handle more. The product was delivered without any damage. If you need more capacity, purchasing( 2) of these racks would take up less space than some of the larger racks. If you have a lot of dumbbells that clutter your workout area, it's tough to go wrong with buying this rack. I have high expectations related to my purchases and I could n't be happier.

My concern when I purchased this product was the durability and the `` assembly required ''. Once I opened the box and saw the instructions as well as the product, I was pleasantly surprised. I assembled it with ease and loaded my dumbells on and was thoroughly impressed with the durability of this rack. Not for the Review: I was unable to successfully purchase this product online due to issues on the Dick's website. I went into the store and the Dick's associate assisted me purchasing it online while in the store. However when I was trying to purchase the product online there was a 40% discount in progress. When I purchased it... a couple of days later, this 40% discount was not available therefore I had to pay the full amount. I was not pleased with this.

Solid- holds plates that I bought from Dick's without any issues. The powdercoat on the arms will likely be scratched over time, ruining the finish... kind of wish this was just a solid stainless steel arm but it does n't really affect anything. Setup was easy.

We bought this for our little home gym. After looking at several models online and in stores, I bought another rack through another online retailer. The thing was damaged in shipping and missing one of the uprights. Needless to say I returned it and found this Powerline rack online at Dick's. This rack has the proper spacing between the horizontal angles so that my old style steel plate dumbbells do not fall off the front. Most of the ones I looked at in stores had that problem. I was n't going to buy new weights just to get a rack. This rack is super sturdy, like what you find in sport clubs but it is small enough that it does n't dominate our small apartment. I will hold 4 dumbells with the 5- lb small hole plates on each shelf. If you put 10- lb plates, you 'll probably only get 3. It feels as if it will hold any of that weight combination. Real easy to assemble and well designed. It has threaded holes through the cross angles with locknuts. Even has a little bottle of touch up paint.

Built very well. The supports all have holes like a rack. Possibly could be a landmine and battle rope attached. Maybe more. Top shelf is perfect for 5- 30 kettlebells. The shelves probably hold 5- 40 dumbbells. Only issue I have is with shipping. One of the dumbbell shelfs arrived with a dent in it. It ’s rights where the has to be tightened so I only have 3 of 4 bolts in. Customer service is supposed to be sending a replacement. Said it would take a month 6 weeks ago so IDK. I ’ m left to take a hammer to it but I shouldn ’ t have to. Yes I would recommend it to a friend if picked up in store and inspected before leaving.

I originally went to Dicks to purchase the Ethos 5 post weight plate holder but when I came across this new 6 post version I knew it would be perfect for my space. This plate tree is very well built. The solid yet compact design is a great space saver and it holds my bumper plates with ease. I currently have 460lbs loaded on this rack and it could easily hold more. The casters roll well even while loaded up with plates, and the ability to move the unit around your space is a nice feature that I didn ’ t originally think was a must have item for me, but now that I have it, I would never go back to a non- rollable rack. It is incredibly convenient. The packaging was decent, but could probably be improved upon. They do make use of styrofoam and foam sleeves, but the contents inside the package were able to shift around some. I found one or two very small scratches on the base of my rack which isn ’ t a big deal for me at all, but I do think the packaging is worth mentioning as it could possibly lead to potential damages during shipping for others. Installation is an absolute breeze. The rack does come with installation instructions, but this can easily be put together without any guidance. Only tools needed are a hex socket and a wrench and the entire rack can be assembled in about 5- 10 minutes. My entire garage gym has been designed around the ability to save space and double utilize the area efficiently.
