I bought this on a whim not knowing how to use it. First try was on a Ned rig and it worked really well, after the second cast I got three decent size bass. Thought how else can I use this. It was a windy day so I thought I can just throw this out on a drop shot and let the current do the work and surprisingly it did. After about five minutes with this just sitting out there, I never moved it, a three and a half pound bass decide to eat it. Great little bait.

This Ned Craw is a great bait for the Ned Rig, especially if the bass in your area feed on crawfish and this bait imitates a crawfish and will definitely get eaten, it ’s small enough so they just take the whole bait in and that ’s the end of the story, you ’ ve got fish

Everyone knows these are hard to find. This is about an 85% copy of that other brand that everyone wants. It ’s slightly bigger at 19mm. The legs have decent or “ good enough ” action. With this one being cheaper than that other brand by a good amount it ’s a nice pickup. Still made of TPE so very durable.

These baits are a good value. The QC is slightly lower on them than Japanese baits but they are pretty close. Slightly different action than the Japanese baits as well.

Ned rig baits are soft plastic lures designed specifically for use with the ned rig fishing technique. This technique involves a lightweight jig head and a small, buoyant soft bait that sits on the bottom, mimicking the appearance of a struggling or inactive prey. Anglers typically use ned rig baits to target bass and other freshwater species, as they can be effective in various water conditions.
Ned rig baits are typically made from soft plastic materials that provide flexibility and realistic movement in the water. These materials often include durable compounds that can withstand bites and rough handling while maintaining their shape. The softness of the bait allows for a natural presentation, which is crucial for enticing fish.
When choosing ned rig baits, consider features such as size, color, and action. Smaller baits are generally more effective for finesse fishing, while a variety of colors can help match local forage. Additionally, look for baits with a subtle action that mimics the movement of natural prey, as this can significantly increase your chances of attracting fish.
Ned rig baits excel in various fishing conditions, particularly in clear to moderately stained waters. They are particularly effective in areas with structure, such as rocks, weeds, and drop-offs, where fish tend to hide. Additionally, using ned rig baits during cooler months or when fish are less active can yield better results, as the slow presentation can entice bites.
While ned rig baits are primarily designed for targeting bass, they can also be effective for a variety of other freshwater species. Fish such as panfish, walleye, and even trout may be attracted to the subtle movement and presentation of ned rig baits. This versatility makes them a popular choice among anglers looking to catch multiple species.
