I work both inside and outside in the rugged and on polished floors in interior Alaska doing communications. I bought my first pair of the Two Harbors size 12 from an outfitter up here 6 years ago. I wore them nearly everyday for both work and leisure. They were so comfortable that I did n't like my hiking boots ad much as these I put many a mile on those vibram soles and it took 5 years to wear down the tread. Usually- 40 below and ice will really do a number on boots... but seriously these held up. I wanted so bad to replace them but I wore them down so badly on the inside tongue that I did n't have a part number or name for them. I just knew they were Irish Setter/Red Wing work boots. I wound up buying another pair of Red wing pull ons that were comfortable and I really like them.. but they only lasted one season and soles separated after their first winter. So I went back with Irish Setter and got a set of work boots that I had mailed just before Christmas. Oh man that was a mistake... Anyhow I thought I through my old Two Harbors away. I have been wearing these boots for about 7 years. They used to be named ELY. Back around the time of covid, I was due a new pair of boots. I was able to find them luckily. But for a couple years they were not available. Come to find out they changed the name of them. Still a quality boot. I started using them because of a bad back issue I have. These boots have a great insole in them a great support system. I have been reading the other reviews on here and have a hard time grasping that some people have had a bad experience with this boot. I work heavy industrial and wear my boots 6 days a week ten hours a day, most weeks. Sometimes seven days a week. I have never had any issues with them other than. I wear them out as much as I use them. They are well worth the money spent on them and they are a great support system for anyone with a back issues. This is my opinion only, for someone with back issues, they have been a blessing to me. The price has went up since they changed the name of them, I guess it's a costly name. But all in all I will continue to buy these boots as long as I am working, which is about five more years and then I will buy my retirement pair, as I do not plan to wear them as much so they should last a lifetime.

My first Georgia boot 😀. I ’ m 9 1/2 wide and these fit well. The collar was uncomfortable at first. They have traction in mud, snow, slush, but, not so much on ice. The waterproof feature is great to keep feet warm and dry. I have a hard time with shoes fitting and not falling apart. Only had a month but so far I ’ m very happy. I love the way they look and the colors. I wear work boots often and will be looking into Georgia brand( wide width, nice colors, and stylish, please). I bought these on sale. I have fairly narrow feet and these fit perfectly and are very comfortable. You ca n't even tell they have a steel toe. My only complaint is the top lace grommet. It has a different type of hook so it is a little difficult to get the lace in it when it is pulled out. I still rate this as Excellent though.

I was part of a Montana hiking group and Merrill was always their first choice, so I was delighted to get them for him. My only objection is that we had very poor customer service. I had to track down someone( twice) just to help us. The young man was not knowledgeable at all about shoes. For$ 150 a pair, I expected a little more help in choosing and sizing. I want to start by saying that I have been a loyal follower and buyer of Salomon boots for as long as I can remember. For at least the past ten years, I have worn them every single day. I replace my boots annually—not because they wear out or break down, but simply because I love the feel of new boots. In fact, I still have all of my previous pairs, except my very first ones( which I should have kept as well). Each pair continues to serve me in different ways. When I first purchase a new pair, they become my work boots, while the older ones transition into hiking boots, allowing them time to break in naturally. After about six months, I begin using the newer boots for hiking, always carrying an extra pair in my pack in case I need to swap them out—usually due to an issue like water getting inside. Let me emphasize that under normal conditions, these boots do not get wet inside. However, if fully submerged underwater—which I have done on several occasions—they will absorb moisture. When this happens, I hang the wet boot on the outside of my pack to dry while I continue my journey. I can confidently say that Salomon makes outstanding boots. They have been an essential part of my adventures, and I highly recommend them. Great boots, great company, and great experiences with Salomon!

Had the normal one full day break- in period. This is my third pair and I keep coming back for them. They are rugged and durable and last a little over a year when used roughly for hiking, trail running and slogging through the mud. I compete with these a lot because they keep the water out( unless I go in the streams) and they hold up really well. The soles start to get thinner after 1. 5 years but I have n't found any others that hold up any better and still stay together like these Moab 3's.

The first pair I bought myself in 2014, side by side with their replacement that just arrived today. Pulled them out of the box and it was like meeting an old friend that hasn ’ t changed a bit. The fit and feel, perfection. Now, I literally hiked the soles off of the old pair. The toes cracked. Laces frayed but original. [ I have hiked 1000's of miles on Asolo boots over the years and had many models. This one runs a tad bigger ue I have always been a 10 in the boot line so I would say it fits more like a 10. 5 but comfortable. Very rigid sole, which I look for in a boot and slightly on the heavier side, which does n't bother me. I did see where someone complained about a stitching clustster were the toungue is sewn together amd that was rather uncomfortable as it sat directly beneath one of the lace locks. I took a pair of flat nose pliers to the material wad.. for lack of a better term.. lol and worked it over a bit w the pliers squeezing and turning wo tearing it! So do n't go to crazy just cruah it down and it solved that problem rather easily. Great boot. Fit is larger. Crush the extra material to soften it.

First, I ’ d like to share how amazing Vasque ’s customer service is. I initially purchased a differed boot that wasn ’ t hardy enough for the type of hiking I do- Vasque allowed me to return the boot immediately! So instead of going back to the brand I was with before( Scarpa) I decided to stick with Vasque and purchased this boot with my refund money. I am so glad I did. These boots really hold up with all the things the white mtns throw at you with little break in needed. I did need to loosely lace the boots and insert a toe box stretcher for my own needs but the boot has now confirmed to my foot. I fully submerged both feet by mistake several times. My feet were kept dry and warm. I felt my ankles were supported and my boots got more comfortable as my hike went on. I have hypermobile joints, arthritis in my feet, bunions, and roll my ankles a lot; I ’ ve been on the hunt for the perfect shoe for years so that I could not be in pain every time I walk and this is it! He has a similar version without the extra black textile on the side but they really stretched out. The black textile seems to help hold the shape of the shoe better than just suede. I use them for hiking, dog walking in the rain and snow and walking around our land. I have used them in pouring rain and my feet stayed dry. I dont think they are sturdy enough for heavy backpacking but for a light day pack, no problem. Size wise I usually wear a 9. 5 in running and training shoes and I ordered a 10 in these and they were good. I prefer the wide version though as it gives me just a bit more toe box room, not necessarily extra width but roomier. I am hoping these will break in enough to be as comfortable as the wider version. But a great comfortable boot overall.

This is my second pair of this shoe. I wore the first pair nearly every day, year round for three years until the soles wore down. Fit perfectly from day 1 and I used them for hiking, ordinary wear around town, and even to a casual restaurant dinner. Got many compliments along the way. I am male, wear a men's size US 6/Euro 39 shoe, and have difficulty finding my size, and a women's size 7. 5 works with this shoe. Asolo was a new brand name for me and I 'm sold on their quality and fit. The waterproof feature is a bonus, especially in winter.

[ I love the look of these and they were generally comfortable, but just wearing them around the house for a few minutes it was clear that the narrow footbed would be a problem on longer hikes, so sadly having to return. I love Merrell Moab ’s, wear them every day and have 5 pair. But as hot as this summer has been, I wanted a pair of lighter weight shoes. I started with Merrell styles, but had no luck getting a good fit for my problem feet—a neuroma and plantar fasciitis on one foot and a bunion on the other. I also tried styles from all the highly rated shoes for walking, including those with gel insoles. They all bothered my neuroma, and the gels were so bouncy they made me feel a little unsteady on my feet. So I went back to Merrell and tried the speed solo, ordered up a half size, and finally found my fit! The shoes seemed narrow at first, but after wearing them a couple of times, they ’ re as comfortable as my Moab ’s.

[ I tried these out on Mt. Washington this past weekend. Overall very satisfied. They stood up well and provided the traction needed on the descend. These are replacing a pair of Merrill's that I had for many years. Overall very satisfied thus far.

These boots rock. Super comfortable and I love the plastic toe. Gives protection but very light unlike steel toe boots. At my job I walk about 20, 000 to 22, 000 steps a day and my feet never hurt with these boots.

Nice fit. Sole is real grippy. First saftey toe that actually has room. Usually wear super rain forest but sole on them good in dirt but slippery on cold hard surfaces. Got these because I read they were roomy. They are roomy and great grip. Nice boot for price. Love rain forest but composite toe and sole are tight on toe and slippery on hard cold surfaces. These. Wear a 12. 5 these are 13. Only boot made by danner in 12. 5 is MEB and it is a great boot. These work at size 13..

This is my 3rd pair of Viscous. I personally like the 4. 5. The boot fits true to size. Plenty of room in the toe box. They last me a year and half to two years. I 'm an aircraft mechanic so not a ton of walking but on my feet for 12 hours and lots of flexibility needed. My favorite part is how light they are. The speed lace hooks are durable except the small plastic in the middle for looks can pop off.
