I 've used the generic exercise bikes at the gym, but none like this. _x000D_ With no experience, I figured that I should get one with the monitor, with the SPD pedal option, a heavier fly wheel( because I 'm a large guy), more adjustable handlebars, and the magnetic resistance. The monitor is pretty easy to understand after reading the instructions and watching a video. _x000D_ The only complaint I have- and this seems to be universal with this type of bike- is that there's no good resistance indicator. I have seen a few such things on Etsy so maybe I 'll get one. [ I was extremely shocked by the quality of this bike. It not only is a beautiful blue color, but it has front and rear spring loaded suspension as well as is set up at a 1x9, having 1 front gear and 9 rear gears. The bike came extremely well packaged as well with extra plastic pieces to protect vital parts like the front brake rotor and the bottom of the front suspension. Straight out of the box there is some setup which could definitely be daunting to beginners, but it wasn ’ t too hard and the bike comes with instructions for setup as well as information for getting help setting up your new bike. Once setup, I played around with the shifting and found the derailleur shifted very smoothly through the 9 gears with little problem. This bike also came with flat pedals which was nice because most bikes I have purchased have not included pedals. As an experienced mountain biker I really appreciated all the features and the overall quality of this bike. I think this bike would be perfect for any beginner looking to start their journey into mountain biking. It is very solid aluminum and would be a great learner bike. I am excited for the weather to get better here in the Midwest so I can truly take this bike out on the trails and try it out!

[ Received the bike and had my son assemble it for me. It took him about an hour and he said it wasnt too difficult. I really enjoyed this bike and felt like the suspension is definitely a game changer. I took it out on a trail and the ride was super smooth once I got used to the gears. I 'm just a beginner so I started off on a pretty flat trail. I 'm excited to work my way up to something a little more challenging and I 'm sure the bike will have no difficulty tackling it. The only thing I wish it had was a kickstand, and I think I will be changing the seat for something a little more comfortable.

[ Wow! I haven ’ t rode a mongoose bike for years and didn ’ t know what expect… well, mind blown! This bike is the most solid mountain bike I ’ ve ever tried! The tires are a bit wider with a hearty tread. It feels secure even though it ’s lightweight and handles like a dream. Putting it together was initially daunting but approaching it with a clear head and some patience, it wasn ’ t bad. It feels sturdy and the gears shift seamlessly. The height and weight of the frame are perfect and the seat is basic as far as mountain bikes go. In general, this is a solid bike that rides well on multiple applications( tried asphalt, concrete, grass, gravel and trails). Thanks to Influenster and mongoose for the opportunity to trial this bike- it ’s a game changer in my rides for sure.

[ Assembly- went together in leas than an hour once I got it all unboxed. Make sure that you assemble this where it is going to be used. It weighs quite a bit. This is great for stability, but not very mobile. Function- very sturdy and easy to adjust for size and resistance. There is a noticable difference in each step from 1 to 8. I also like the fact that the arm and legs can( and should) be worked separately. You can pinpoint the proper resistance level for each. Extras- The screen is functional and gives you the basics, but not much more and that is fine for me. I know what I want to do for my work out and dont need to pay for a tour guide. Quality- As I said this is a very sturdy machine and even though I have only been using for about a month I have no doubt that it will last.

The quality of the Marcy NS- 652 is fantastic. The size is easy to move from storage to use. The assembly is very easy too. I had to have my husband shorten the seat an inch. I am petite. Until he shortened the seat, I had to fully extend my legs to pedal and I was not sitting on the bike correctly. The bike is exactly what I wanted to stay active and enjoy life with less hip pain. I was a little skeptical considering I already have a recumbent bike that is not quiet but figured what the heck. This bike was easy to put together, love that it folds for easy storage, love that it ’s light enough that I can move it by myself, and I am amazed at how quiet this bike is!!! I live in a condo and I use this bike a various times and no one can hear a thing! I love that the seat on this bike bigger then the seats at a spin class( because I have a much larger bottom then those seats which makes it hard to enjoy the class). Lastly I like how easy you can change the resisence on the bike! Overall, a great purchase and I highly recommend! Great on the joints!

Sturdy, nothing wobbles/rattles. Very quiet, I can watch TV on normal volume. The seat has nice cushion. Display is simple, easy to use. Assembly was more extensive than expected but easy enough for one person. I have a 27 '' inseam and the shortest setting only fits when I 'm wearing shoes, which is fine since bare foot would hurt( the peddles are spiky for grip). I would n't recommend this style( upright) over `` recumbent '' for anyone with back issues, since there's no backrest. Also this works out more than just your legs( glutes, abs, back, etc) where recumbent is just legs. The folding feature is nice but I actually do n't use it since the bike size is already compact.
