[ It took forever before I receive the shoe. Due to hurricane that hit the state of Florida all mails was delayed. But I was so excited upon receiving the shoe and was in love on how sleek it looks! It fit prefectly! The cushion is nice and comfortable. It was breathable even for a long run or walks. I tried it on dirt and the grip is amazing. Never had a problem that I might slide as it was slippery every where due to the hurricane. The material used for thus shoe is top notch. [ I ’ ve been seeking for a pair of shoes that are comfortable to walk in long distance, can maintain its support, and ultimately be my go - to walking shoes for the 1+ hr daily walks with my dog. I ’ m usually splitting my time between three different pairs of shoes for these daily walks - leather Jordans for when it ’s slightly wet outside, rain boots when it ’s really wet, and knitted running shoes for the nicer days in case we want to jog at any point during the walk. Because the Gore - Tex is versatile, it was able to address all three case needs and I have been wearing it every day for the past two weeks since I got them. The inside is not as soft like some other shoes but it ’s also not too hard like walking on the cement directly. There is a slight bounce that gives me comfort in knowing that the shoe is absorbing some shock from my footsteps and when I found myself at the beach with them on, I was pleasantly surprised that water and sand did not seep into the front of shoes like it normally would ’ ve with the knits( mind that I didn ’ t walk into the ocean with them on and am referring to an occasional splash while walking on the shore). As for the design, I thought that the little weather icons on the shoelaces was a cute yet settled detail. I was worried that shoes like this would make my feet look clunky, but it ’s giving more of the contemporary fashion with an edge of construction workwear. Highly recommend them for a daily wear! I have yet to test them in arduous hiking or heavy downpours but my impression is that these will satisfy my daily walking needs longer than most other shoes.

Goo pair of she ’s. I am a beginner level runner. In these, I did a 5k and a 10k run so far. They are light and the cushion is better than my peg 39 shield pair. Not tried in the winter rain yet, will see that parth in warmer days. They are warm to feel in the cold weather. The soles are same as my peg 39 shield and storm tread sole is excellent for grip in wet or smooth surfaces, but the price is, it ’s impossible to clean once you got mud in. I had to go straight in garden and rinse it off, use a brush to remove the mud before it sets. I bought them on sale which seems OK price but would not pay full price. Buy at least half a size up, as they run a little small. Nike have never got the sizes right or consistent.

I bought the shoes because we own 2 large Golden Doodles who need to go outside or be walked several times a day. Sometimes we run. These shoes have gone thru mud, snow, puddles, and more, and never missed a beat. My feet stayed dry and I just rinsed the shoes upon returning inside and good as new. I normally wear a 7. 5, but sized up to an 8 and the fit is perfect. I really like the extra room in the toebox, so I can wiggle my toes. However, the shoes do tend to run a bit narrow, so just a heads up if you have a wide foot. The shoes easily accomodated my orthotic once I pulled out the insole provided.( Hey, Nike, these shoes should have a unglued, easily removable, insole!) Overall, I am thrilled with my purchase.

What a beautiful shoe! I was very excited to give this one a opportunity as ince i needed a shoe for runnable trails along with dirt/gravel paths. Sizing for me was absolutely perfect, I ordered 10. 5 as always and hold and toe box spacing is excellent. I will have to play around with lacing tightness to figure out that best heel hold but that's the case with most shoes imo. The midsole is incredible and I 'm sure it will take on the abuse well, the bounce and propulsion is entirely new for me, I have never experienced something like this before. It would be a waste to use this for easy/slow runs since the rocker and midsole are clearly for running at faster paces.

[ Aside from looking like a regular pair of training shoes, these are amazing on the trails! The tread is light enough to be able to run short distances( I ’ ve done about 5 miles mostly incline so far), but also grips and helps with stability on uneven dirt paths. The insoles are comfortable and can be worn on walks and while running errands. They also blend in perfectly with a gym or athleisure outfits which is my favorite part about them. Only “ con ” I have noticed so far is that they feel a little tight in the vamp area( I have pretty narrow feet) - hoping a little wear and tear and fixing the laces a little more will help.

Wow. These are awesome. I ran my last half marathon in the Pegasus trail, and I was less than impressed. I went to the Wildhorse but felt those needed more cushioning. When I started doing road races in the vaporfly, I was really hoping that Nike would do some sort of vaporfly hybrid shoe for trails and I feel like this is it! I took it right out of the box on a 7 mile adventure, with about 2k feet of vert in the first 2 miles and then a downhill 3 mile run on a fire road, before hitting 2 miles on pavement. They performed superb. They are ultralite( 6. 5oz in my size) and have a super wide toebox, which is unlike most Nike products. This means that you ’ re not gon na get any pressure on your toenails and they ’ re not hitting up against the front of the shoe. They ’ re super breathable and the carbon fiber plate definitely gives you a little propel forward. I ’ m so excited that Nike finally got a contract with Vibram because the soles are incredibly grippy. I don ’ t know how this shoe would do on super technical terrain, considering it is a race shoe, so it ’s meant to be fast and agile. But I don ’ t know if it would protect you from kicking a rock or hitting a rock with anything near your ankle. You ’ re definitely gon na feel that. I ’ m all in for taking this on my next race and super excited to see how I perform in this shoe. I love that there ’s no break in time with Nike ever and I ’ m really happy to see that they have stepped it up with their trail running shoes. We needed this!

I keep a couple of pairs of Ghosts for years because they keep the same fit and comfort/grip every iteration. I keep a couple of pairs because they are my go to shoes in wet weather to walk the dog over mud and other wet terrain and alternate with one pair in use and the other drying out that day. I wear wool socks so even in cold wet weather I am okay. This new weatherized version helps even more because the fabric resists the wetness more. This is now my only Brooks shoe because unfortunately my favorite for most of my ventures is the Glycerin and the way the heel has changed on the 22 over previous versions slips and does not provide me a secure fit. Sad because the Ghost for wet and muddy and the Glycerin for dry and concrete was a fantastic combination until now. I will stick with the Ghost for wet conditions and hope Brooks does not ruin the Ghost design. A great selling point for the Ghost has been in all iterations so far, if one version fits and is suitable, the next version will not be radically changed and is still a good fit. Radical change is not always a good thing. So, yes, the weatherized change and the new sole are fantastic. And hooray the fit has not changed on the Ghost. The only minor convenience for me is that it is slightly hotter than the regular Ghost because of the beefier weatherization in warm weather. In cooler weather that is a big plus.

Love these shoes. I 'm so grateful to have found a jogging/working out/living shoe for the winter that keeps my toes warm and dry. I went up half a size like the other reviews suggested and they fit great. What I love most about these and my other Adrenalines is how long the soles last. I wear these ten to twelve miles a day most days of the week and it was a solid ten months before my first pair wore down. My Nike's never last more than three months and even my Hoka's are toast after four or five months. The staying power of these alone makes them worth it. My one suggestion? The winter is drab enough - let's hit these with the neon stick! I want some bright green/yellow/orange/aqua for the grey days - all the way from the soles to the laces.

I used these during track and cross country did very well in both. I am now heading into my last track race of the season, a 3200 confident in getting a pr. Very fast but make sure you get a size higher then you are and wouldn ’ t recommend to a heel striking runner.

Cascadia 18 Trail Tough - I am a huge fan of my Cascadia 16s. Traded up to Cascadia 18s - broke out a fresh pair of sixteens vs my new eighteens in a Brooks version of Alien vs Predator on the same trail over consecutive days. Lives up to the Cascadia reputation - grateful for the extra width option 2E - robust snug and really sure thanks to the sole configuration and materials. Feel a little more flexible in a good way. The toe cap design still basically the same as the sixteens - so will assume they are equally protective and hard wearing. Look forward to comfort, sure footing and long life that the Cascadia design brings. My hound and me will continue to bust out 10km plus daily along creek trails - but so far Cascadia 18 - AOK. Love the roomy width of the shoe. Love the firm support of the sole( I do n't like especially gushy shoes, like New Balance tend to be). Love their light weight. Great Customer service. I went to this location on the recommendation from a gym member on where to get good shoes. I could n't remember the brand. But within a couple minutes Jalen in the athletic shoe department knew the shoes I was looking for. He was very knowledgeable about all the brands the store carried and knew of several other brands I had in mind. This store is n't a convenient location for me. But I will return for the customer experience. The cashier Isaiah was helpful at contacting the Manager Chloe to come over when I wanted to compliment how well Jalen had assisted me with my purchase.
