This shirt is thicker than a normal under layer shirt but is still comfortable if you wanted to wear additional layers. The cut of the shirt is super nice you might not want to hide it, though! It has thumb hole openings which are nice. I wore it alone several times since I bought it and was pleased at how well it kept me warm. I liked it so much I went to get a second one. They had sold out of the 3s but I snagged a 2 at least! My only negative comment would be it looks wrinkled when you remove it from the dryer. I only air dried it so maybe some heat might have gotten the wrinkles out. It's black so not that noticeable. Great shirt. I tried to get a 2nd one so obviously am happy with my purchase!

These are amazing! We love them. ❤️ My dad got my husband and I both a set for Christmas like 10 years ago or more. They are still in perfect condition. We use them for hunting, playing in the snow or anytime we have to be outside for long periods of time in the cold. When I go hunting and it's super cold or wind chill of- 15. I wear mine, my husband's and my under armour sweat pants under my hunting bibs. No need for a heater at all. My son told me he needed some bigger under layers so I automatically ordered him this set. He is going to be so excited when he gets the Christmas morning. If you have multiple children you definitely need to get these. They are such a good quality and will last for years if they are taken care of. The adults sizes are pretty unisex in the bottoms. The woman's top seems to be a little more fitted for the breast.

4. 0 is the best base layer for the price. My kids are competitive skiers in the Northeast. Our winters are harsh and with windchill the temperatures can drop below zero. Using these 4. 0 as base layers helps to keep their heat from escaping. They hold up well through washing and the boys playing/lounging in them after skiing too. They both have two sets, and I only replace once they are outgrown. I just wish they came in more colors.
